Remember the smurfette? This is her now. Feel old yet?
Lol, I should have made her hair blond.
I felt old before I saw this comment.
Congrats. I'M NOW 87 YO!
Jokes
Anaëlle L. 😂😂
yup
@@LucidNeema maybe she dyed her hair dark blue ^^
I am surprised but i think i like the sharpie one better? The tones go better with each other in the sharpie one in my opinion, i don't usually like very bright drawings but there is just something i don't find pleasing de the eye when it comes to the ohuhu one (tho i like the blending better on the ohuhu one for the most part)
Andreea Micsa the problem with ohuhu is they just took random colors and put it in the markers. They need more of the same colors but in different tones
DJNeonLightsYT true
It's because in the Sharpie one, it's basically a bright cool color scheme with a bright screaming orange contrast. With Ohuhu however, it's a dark cool color scheme with a calm orange, so the contrast isn't that much, besides that, the bluegreen hair color doesn't fit well.
I like the Sharpie better. You can't blend as well, obviously, but the rich saturation and smoothness of the ink is superior in my opinion.
Yeah the sharpie ink is pretty good!
I actaully prefer ohuhu, it just pops, but sharpie also looks bomb 😍
Ikr? I've noticed that Ohuhu Markers are SUPER vibrant and the color just like pops out so much.
*Breaking News:* Copic markers have gone out of demand. I repeat: Copics demand has decreased.
I’m just appreciating the Natsu pfp
I use copics they are expensive but they don't show a lot of lines and you can blend easier
awe natsu 🥰 luv ur pfp and him ;)
NATSU! Love Your Pfp :3
@Zoey Neal *Fairytale?* Oh yeah, my favorite book is Cinderella 😒 I really like how to brings out the color green!
GURL both are real Gucci and I also didn't know about the sharpie brush tips
She did a video on them, you should check it out. :)
Oh yeah, here is a link ruclips.net/video/JcVVp8HOZTc/видео.html
@@LucidNeema Thx gurl ill definitely go watch it rn!!! Thx for the heart as well luv ya!!!
I knew there were small brush tip sharpies, like for lettering, but I didn’t know about these fat ones!
Noooo, my ohuhu babies Reeeeeeeee.
I didn’t know sharpies had brushes till your sharpie video
Same like, thank God for sharpie brush markers! Lol
Same lol
The question is where did she find them?
Where she fy them online
they both have some plusses. the sharpies are brighter and it seams to jump off the page, the ahuhus are smother and blend more smoothly. i think that over all the ahuhu come out on top because they have a wider range of colors and are smother.
ps i loved both
*Ohuhu
*Smoother
The hair and dark blue part of her dress look great on the ohuhu side but the skin and orange accent of her undershirt looks great on the sharpie side :)
I love this! Sharpie needs to get on it and make their brush markers into dual tip brush markers! lol! I didn't think they'd be so good with coloring!!
Halalela Art yeah that would be nice!
She looks like Something off Avatar 😱❤️ Love your drawings.
yeah I see it too!
Aha, she does lol.
I've been using sharpies for years cuz I'm cheap :') but they're amazing and they have a bunch of different color collections aka a good color range. Also, wow they both look incredible!! Love your art!!
@Cynthia Saucedo haha true! I've just had the same sharpie markers since like 6-7th grade and now I'm a few months away from being a senior in high school and they're still alive and working :')
how the heck do you deal with the smell?
@@angelinageorge9526 I actually kind of like the smell of sharpies :')
I don't know why I avoided sharpies as a teen, I missed out!
@@LucidNeema sure did! Only issue is when for some reason the tip is scratchier than usual and it leaves scrath marks on the paper. That makes me hate them just a little :'^(
I l o v e how the sharpie hair looks like, but the outfit on the ohuhu looks really good. I like the skin with both markers
Yay!!! You did my suggestion!!! Both of them turned out amazing!!!! It's so hard to choose which I like better!!! Great job!!! 😀😊
Thank you!!
@@LucidNeema 😀😁😁😁😊
your art has honestly improved so much, i've been watching since your old channel was still active and im genuinely blown away. your line weight and anatomy has improved so much i can not put it into words! it's so nice seeing so much improvement in so little time.
I really don’t appreciate how talented you you are 😤
I love how you blend the orange with the sharpie. It almost looks like a gold.
Love the Sharpie omg its so pretty! ohuhus seems a bit more darker. Either way they both seem to work really well. So cool
@It's Sammy i know. But in my opinion and experience ohuhus have darker pigment but i still enjoy using them. Great for begginers
Omg i love the outcome for the ohuhu and the sharpie markers soooo beautiful 🖌🤩
Thank you! im glad you like them both!
You made the ohuhu markers look streaky!! An easy way to fix that is to go over it a few times and it will blend with its self. Then all the streaks will be gone!! I love the ohuhu markers I thought I would just give a helpful tip❤️❤️
That's soooo amazing most people argue sharpies aren't good because they cant blend but you just proved them wrong
Never thought I'd see the day where I say that the sharpie one is the best.
I know everyone is saying they look the sharpie side more, but I like the ohuhu one. I am not a pastel lover and the blending is so good! Good job, LucidNeema
First off, beautiful artwork! I think the skin and hair on the sharpie was smoother, while the darker Ohuhu marker was smoother on the clothes. Personally, I’ve never tried Sharpies, but I did start off using Ohuhu markers. I use Copics now, and those are my favorite to work with. Pricey, but I still love them.
I'm obsessed with sharpies!
I’m kind of surprised sharpie looks better especially were the shadows are I know how to save up now thx for the vid😄
Sharpies are for the best of the best, because once you start coloring with a sharpie, there's no going back. Same with other markers, but those especially those. It's really good!
I thought you were playing with the title but I actually liked both and enjoyed seeing that sharpie blend and the deeper blue dress. Waiting on my Ohuhu's from ebay though because of you. :3 Excited!!!
The sharpie one is so clean
I honestly like the sharpie drawing better! :)
I love both the *Sharpie* and the *Ohuhu* however, what you did with the Sharpie markers was absolutely amazing and beautiful. 😃😁 It's definitely my favorite of the two, the colors are more brilliant.
I’ve watched you for 1 week now. And I can’t stop.
yesssss!!
They're both different looks but i prefer ohuhu cause of the variants of colors and less streakiness. Sharpie can fix that by adding more colors but i highly doubt it's going to happen since sharpies main use is writing and they had the same amount of colors since over a decade ago. For a writing marker, it did amazingly though.
I love the bottom part of the ohuhu better, but from the orange part up, I definitely prefer the sharpie surprisingly!
yeah the orange is very vibrant, and ohuhu part colored so smoothly on the dress!
Wow! The sharpie one looks great!
Sharpie of course they are my 2nd favourite markers 1 is copic 😁
I love the sharpies. They're surprisingly really nice!
I think ur my new fav channel🧡🧡🧡AND THE SKIN ON THE HUHO MAKERS IS GREAT BUT EVERYTHING ELAS ON THE SHARPIE IS GOOODODO
aww you're so cute thank you!
Ohuhu 😊
Ur ohuhu colour selection is highly pleasing
This is so cool
I find this super interesting ur one of my fave artist
aww you're so sweet thank you!
I can’t really chose...the sharpie one looks kinda plain since you can really blend. But the colors are super pretty. The ohuhu blended really well so it makes it look professional. Although the colors aren’t as nice...but there both so good! 🥰🥰😍😍😍😍😍🤤😊😊😊😊😊😌😍😍😍
girl I actually love the Sharpie one!
in my opinion, the flat colours went down smoother with the Sharpies but the shading with the ohuhu was BEAUTIFUL
Wow! The sharpies! They won for sure! 😮
U a dumb bitch jk ur amazing
You should try the crayola blending markers! Maybe you could do a comparison between them with Ohuhu, Copic, Sharpies ,etc?
I think I like the Ohuhu one! I like it for the dark tones and the shading and how well it blends. The sharpie is really good for a brighter drawing so I feel like if you used warm colors then it would stand out a bit more. ITs hARd nOt tO bE biASed to OhHuHu CUZ I LOVE THEM AHHH
I like the dress shades w the sharpie drawing but I prefer the skin tone and hair shades with the ohuhu markers
I love the Ohuhu
The sharpie one is better for if you like a brighter flatter coloured drawing, but the ohuhu one is better if you like a more muted textured drawing, personally I like the ohuhu one better because of the texture and my colour preference but I feel like the sharpies really showed up my expectations in this, I was NOT expecting the sharpie one to look so good!
Wow, I like them both equally! They was both well done. Great job and work!
Thank you! Alot of people seem to like them both im glad!
I just got done watching some spoopy videos so now I'm watching your videos because they make me feel happier! ☺️
Lmao, thats funny! well im glad I could help .
As much as I love Ohuhu, Sharpie snatched my weave.
I think the Ohuhu markers look more shaded but the sharpies are also very vibrant if that’s how you spell it lol
The sharpie is more vibrant but the ohuhu is serving ya girl looks 😭👏👏
What is the best fineliners to use for ohuhu markers?😫
The blue skin was a really bold choice but you really made it work I love both ohuhu markers and sharpies but my opinion is like you said the sharpies were more vibrant which I think made some of the darker colors pop like the hair was so bright it made the skirt pop
Omg thx for liking this comment
Can’t choose, they’re both fantastic!
I know!!
Clicked SO fast. I love this method. I like to do my linework in Procreate and then print on X-Press It Blending Card.
thanks for clicking lol!
I like the ohuhu better overall, but the sharpie hair looks better.
Wow, I didn’t expect to like the sharpie better.
I like the colors of the sharpie one and I like the blending in the ohuhu one
Since when do sharpies blend?! And so well??? I'm impressed.
My sharpies don't blend AT ALL.
sharpies stepping up i guess!
The sharpies are just so vibrant
There very similar! I think brown hair would have been more of a contrast. Plus background helps to bring out your primary subject matter.
Thanks for making this! I actually know how to properly blend my sharpies now it always used to come out weird.
aww glad I could help!
I seriously thought I was subscribed to you because your videos kept popping up on my feed, and I wasn’t and now I am. I’m so glad I kept seeing your videos lol so anyway I just wanted to say I love your art 💖💖
I love the ohunu i think it’s called, I’ve always wanted to get the markers but never had enough money. When I saw sharpie on the thumbnail I had to click on it just for ways to shade with sharpie and you’ve really inspired me. I really love your art! UwU
I like both but prefer the sharpie one, more vibrant and the hair color looks specifically beautiful on that one. On the Ohuhu side the blending is greater though.
I'm a sharpie user at the moment but I have the 80 set of ohuhu markers in the mail. I plan to use them both on each drawing though. I did that with the remaining touchfive cheap markers that I bought in 2015 but they have run out of ink.
Beautiful are by the way, I like your style
The ohuhu quality in big spaces didn't mix as well as sharpie (as in the skin)
I love your techniques and the white hair would have looked good as well
Ohuhu for the win. But I am impressed with the variety of colors the Sharpie’s have. I think they have been watching art channels on RUclips. Lol lol lol
lol, hopefully they see mine and make more colors right.
Hard to choose! Sharpie has great vibrancy but gets kinda streaky and doesn't always blend but Ohuhu gets kinda muted but usually blends nice.
Your viewership is just exploding! Good on you. You’ve earned it!
Thank you!!
I love this. The character looks like she just got done saying period.
I just found your channel and I’m OBSESSED! Subscribed immediately! I adore you & your amazing skills
Damn they both work better than I thought they would haha
Can you do a video showing us your camera set up
I feel like the colors look better for the sharpie markers, but the blending is better for ohuhu. It looks much smoother.
I think the sharpie! Looks awesome!
"Yes i love Ohuhu" got me feeling good
Both look amazing!!!! Can’t decide!
I like the skin on the Ohuhu side but the hair color on the sharpie side with the shading on the Ohuhu side.
Could you please do a comparison between a drawing with ALL of your comics and ALL of your sharpies?
I would love it if you could maybe add in what paper you are using in the description 👀 I'm always quite curious about the paper 📄 Great video btw! Loved the comparison but I think that overall I like the sharpie one more. But on the other hand I guess it was easiert to work with the ohuhu ones?
Yeah it was way easier and faster to work with the ohuhu marker, the double nib was a time saver. I'll add the paper I use in the description right now!
I like the sharpie better
I like the brightness of the sharpies. Ohuhu almost looks like a washed out version even though they are way easier to get a good blend.
You are so underrated aaAAAA A
I actually like the Ohuhu better😇
Wow sharpie looks good! She’s living her best life!
I really like her skin w the sharpies but I really like the clothes and hair w the ohuhu
Its pretty
Pretty amazing
Thank you!
I watch the vs. sharpie videos so I can learn to share with them-
Sharpie definitely won in my opinion it's very vibrant and beautiful good job on both though very talented
Love the color choices. Reminds me of the daft punk animated videos. Do want to criticize that you should be swatching colors for matching them. Ohuhu isnt great at matching their colors to the cap, lol.
Do you ever use coloured pencils? If not that would be a cool video idea, Keep up the great work!
I do have some color pencils but I don't use them that often. I'll make a comparison video on the ones I have now so stay tuned!
The only thing I hate with sharpies is the streakiness and I have I love those brush sharpies
I can see why you said you couldn't choose lol. I think the dress you colored with ohuhu marker was really smooth.
After working with the sharpies fine tip when I switch to the ohuhu markers I was like yassss lol.
I think we could probably all agree that Sharpie uses quality ink. If they really wanted to compete with Copic, I think they could. They have the means and a good place to start. Just need a new marker body, quality brush tips, and a wider color range. Looks like the brush tips they have are _okay_ , but clearly they have to do some quality control regarding that _awful_ cap splatter. That’s a *major* flaw. Full Copic markers have a tendency to drip, but you can at least see it coming most of the time and it’s preventable by opening both ends to allow the pressure to equalize. I suppose being aware of cap splatter isn’t much different. You just have to remember to hold the marker away when opening. Both issues can prevent you from working as quickly as you often need to with the medium.
Yeah I agree, they could definitely come out with something great.
