Man, I went looking for the HD version of this song, and while it doesn't quite match up in terms of polish as the original, it absolutely destroys any recording I can find of the original in terms of quality. I can hear all of the individual components and how they line up. Gives me goosebumps. Thanks so much for sharing this!

Really good remake, but I think that the extra emphasis on the bass provided by the horns of the original give it more presence. Maybe it's also a PS2 thing? I read somewhere that synth horns tend to sound quite different, so maybe it's related to PS2 sound quality, or the compression, I don't really know, but whether intentional or derived from technical limitations, I liked that aspect more.
Just audio differences in the ps2 version.(Mainly due to outdated equipment) But the Zodiac Remaster has the OG and remaster Versions which have the same theme using different instrument
Amazing work! Just wondering, what plugins do you use and how exactly do you make choirs sing lyrics?
For my projects I mainly use Kontakt paired with sample libraries; there are countless on the market! For the choir specifically I used 'Oceania' from Performance Samples. As you play the notes, it automatically cycles through different syllabes, so there's no need to write lyrics
@@edelbirdproductions5664 Thank you, this helps a ton. I think it's unfortunate that I probably won't have the freedom to write lyrics that make narrative sense but if I'm honest, most people won't care about that and it's about the closest thing to what I'm looking for

Ok so why isn't this in the game. This sounded epic as fuck with the Latin. I would feel like such a boss with this playing while fucking up Hell Wyrm and company.

@@theerealatm Eh. Although it does fit well. It doesnt in game though. Its suppose to be a minor boss battle theme. And they could have used a different theme for the final Hunt on the Ranks. So yeah. I can see how it works but not in the intention they have for the game
