"History begins anew."
Indeed!
Finally, it's done! I know many of you have been waiting for this one. Thank you so much for your patience!
Producing this actually felt like facing a final boss, this is by far the hardest challenge I've ever faced so far in terms of music production. After countless hours of arranging and many PC crashes I did not only find out about my limits as a composer, but also about the limits of my laptop (especially the RAM). Now that both of us made it through, I feel truly excited to share this piece with you!
Thank you so much for going through such hardships just to share this theme with us :D
@@TheDANNY96 thanks for your words! This experience was actually very valuable for me. :D
@@edelbirdproductions5664 It is magnificent to hear this masterpiece covered on this channel. It is one of my absolute favorite tracks.
@@Vayne_Solidor well it is a piece that perfectly fits your highness!
This is...marvelous. Who thought this track could become so godly?
this channel is so underrated, final fantasy 12 is my favorite and first game i played from the franchise, this just makes me wish so badly for a remake in my lifetime
Now we are two 🧡
Favorite game in general bc it is a masterpiece beyond compare. Platinumed 2 times.
same sentiments!
I listening it with my speakers, the song is just amazing !!
Damn yes it is. I did the final boss fight so many times, with different challenges etc., just to listen to Struggle for Freedom, one of the most epic tracks ever.
I can just imagine how this must have been to compose:
"Fl Studio play all the instruments at the same time!"
FL Studio: "It was nice to meet ya'" *crashes down*
you have my biggest respect for this incredible arrangement! To think this cames out of a computer, incrdible :o
I also just love how you gave this song here and there your own touch, trully some interessting new elements, like the chor =)
This is my favorite song and to hear that some put so much soul into this arrangement gives me a smile, thank you very much ^c^ this means a lot to me :)
Actually, that's pretty accurate 😄😄
Thanks a lot for your kind words. Comments like yours awake joy and gratitude inside me! 😊🙏🏾
Battle for Freedom was already my favorite final boss track from any Final Fantasy game, and you just made it sound 10x better than its original version! Well done!
How I have waited for this!!!
Wonderful. I would love to see a your remake of "Sacred Moon" and "Sacred Distance" from Kingdom Hearts in your style. Plus, as a lover of FFX, XII and XIII: thank you for having redone most of my favourite tracks, I always suffered for how underrated they were and how few were taking them into consideration for remakes. Thank you.
After I've listened to this really nice remake of SfF, I could also imagine this style for Darkness of the Unknown.
Amazing work as always!! Best OST EVER and even better remaster Edelbird!!
I appreciate it, thanks! 🙏🏾
Incredible arrangement, the vocals are not too present just the way it was needed. Congratulations
Been waiting so long for this masterpiece x
I thought this OST couldn't get more epic. Amazing work my friend
Thanks for your feedback!
Just wonderful finally a remasterisation of this song
Finally! I can´t wait to hear this masterpiece.
Holy shit, so glad you decided to do this, thank you so much! Can't wait for it :D
So many thanks for this masterpiece sir
Been listening to versions of this for years, it sounds great I am so happy you made this, immediate like and add to playlist.
🙏🏾🙏🏾
Exceptional.
Woah thanks! Finally, you deserve every like! 👍
Thank you! 🙏🏾
Since most of your remastered tracks are from XII and XIII, I wonder, could you make an Unseen Abyss version? It's the final boss theme from XIII-2.
Also, THIS track on Spotify would be appreciated.
This is insane!
you just remembered my youth love ya boi
holy crap! that is epic!
This work is amazing...
Thank you! :)
@@edelbirdproductions5664 You deserve the best support on this kind of remakes!
Finally! ♥️ I knew you could do it! (I don't know if i wrote it correctly, but i hope it was clear 😂)
Thanks for believing in me! 🙏🏾
RAM : PC! I have failed us both, I am incapacitated to hold you together. You must find another, one who might be able to carrying you.
PC : They are fulfilled beyond your knowing. The job is done, the song is complete. From the massive usage for days, the work is finally complete. You shall not tread this path alone. Together we go, come.
RAM : Won't the viewer eager to listen to this song after all that has happened here. History begins anew.
This song is the One Winged Angel of FFXII
THIS IS AMAZING!!
You should make them available on Spotify, I'd add Seeking Power and this one immediately 😊
That's what I'm up to! Since covers, unlike original compositions, require special licenses I have to pay for, I will add them bit by bit over time.
@@edelbirdproductions5664 Can't wait to have them on Spotify. They are magnificent, fitting the beauty of Ivalice.
I stumbled upon this by complete luck: I was looking for the reorchestration from the TZA remaster (which is, for some reason, difficult to find in good quality). Needless to say, I was impressed by how good this sounds ! It seems to even include some of the minor improvements from the TZA reorchestration I was searching (like the emphasized leitmotivs at 4:52, which are a bit too subtle in the original track). Did you also use it as a basis for your work, or is it a coincidence ? Anyway, congrats ! 👍
Thanks for your words and I'm glad you like this version of mine!
For this recreation I only used the original track as reference and added details to some parts when I felt like it. It's funny, because I sometimes use the TZA tracks as reference as well, but not for this one 😁
dude you totally gotta do the Archadian Empire
This and your other projects gave me inspiration to try get into Fl studio, just for curiosity, for how long have you been learning? :)
Cool that these tracks inspire you! :)
I started producing about 4 years ago (end of summer 2017). It took me a while to learn the basics of the program, but it was worth it! It started as a very expensive hobby, though, with all the basic equipment, sample libraries and mixing plugins xD
@@edelbirdproductions5664 Im really enjoying it! I've been learning the basics ans the stock plugins right now, though I'm struggling with the guitar notes on the piano roll since i never played a guitar and also have no knowledge about it aswell, either way its really fun xD
I can't believe why this channel has so little views...
Very nice. Very nice indeed. Could you tell me your plugins and library?
Sure, I actually used a lot for this!
Libraries:
Audio Imperia - Nucleus
Audio Imperia - Jaeger Hangar 4
ProjectSam - Orchestral Essentials 1
Cinesamples - Tina Guo Solo Cello
Cinesamples - CineHarps
Redroom Audio - SAGA Trailer Percussion
Native Instruments - The Giant
Soundiron - Apocalypse Percussion Elements
Soundiron - Mercury Boy's Choir Elements
Orchestral Tools - French Horn SFX
Performance Samples - Oceania
Performance Samples - Legacy Selection
Performance Samples - Con Moto Violins Legacy
The last two on this list were freebies, but for some reason Performance Samples removed them from their page. They're comparable to Angry Brass and Con Moto.
Mixing Plugins:
FL Studio Stock Plugins (e.g. Parametric EQ 2, Maximus, Fruity Delay Bank..)
Valhalla Room & Shimmer
Izotope Ozone Elements 8Voxengo SPAN (freebie)
Xfer OTT (freebie)
TDR Nova (freebie)
This is a whole bunch of libraries and plugins I've been acquiring through the years. Actually, I would've been able to achieve a similar result with a lot less.
The libraries that have by far the biggest impact on this project are Nucleus, Orchestral Essentials 1 and Legacy Selection and maybe Oceania. The rest is more for details.
From personal experience I would say Nucleus (or Nucleus Lite) is by far the best way to start!
@@edelbirdproductions5664 thank you for the answer. Yes, i saw that nucleus, jaeger and metropolis ark are the best libraries for production. So far, i am producing music with what i have. To be honest, it is very difficult because there are centain elements that make a huge difference like attack and good sustain. Hopefully, my sketches will turn out to be pretty good. Also, for future recomposition, do either rabanastre or dalmasca eatersand themes. Pretty cool themes
@@ebersouto85 well, the best libraries are the ones that fulfil your needs. Each library also has its weaknesses. It depends on what exactly you are looking for. I might actually make a video about this..
Thanks for the suggestions, those two tracks are already on my list!
Undying redies Gigaflare-sword
"The Undying readies Teraflare"
*Teraflare does 5000 damage to the whole party*
I beg of you, please extend this if possible

Man listening to this makes you wonder why the heck did they not add a chorus on the original, it adds more "boss" to a already amazing last boss theme.
btw which VSTs are you using ?
I guess the orchestral soundtrack was already quite progressive at that time. Starting with FF13, composers added choir for more epicness and I feel like it shouldn't be missed out in today's compositions.
I mainly use Kontakt sample libraries. The ones I use the most are:
Audio Imperia Nucleus
Audio Imperia Jaeger Hangar 4
Performance Samples Oceania (Epic Choir!)
Tina Guo Solo Cello
ProjectSam Orchestral Essentials 1
Redroom Audio Saga Trailer Percussion
For epic music the most important to me are Nucleus and Oceania
@@edelbirdproductions5664
Thanks for the quick reply, i just checked out Oceania II, and man it just sounds amazing !
Im looking foward for what others vgm you could cover !
@@kaique9508 you're very welcome! Please note, that if you plan on buying Oceania (I or II) you will need the full version of Kontakt in order to use it.
Other than that, thanks for your support! :-)
I hate the game and its characters with all passion, but I love this battle theme for completely.
PLEASE do Destiny! It's my favorite videogame theme ever!
Boar das macht ja endlich mal wieder viele Klicks!
Ja maaan! 😎
Sagmal wieviel Arbeit steckt da drinne!?
Die PK Crew
weiß was das
für ein Aufwand ist,
sowas zu produzieren.
Ne ganze Menge! 😂
Das Programm sagt etwas mehr als 40 Stunden, allerdings zählt das nur den zweiten Anlauf und nicht die zahlreichen Sessions, in denen ich das Projekt geöffnet habe und wirklich keinen Schritt weitergekommen bin.. 😅
