  • If your off grid for a while and you need more water this is what we do to add more water to our tank without moving the rig.

Here is the Pump we bought - amzn.to/2hkpkiC
    Collapsible 5-gal Jugs we use - amzn.to/2qyNxbn
A simple drill pump and chunk of hose will make your life much easier. We needed to do this because we could not fill our tank from a jug but even if your fresh water fill is on the outside of your rig using a pump will still make it much easier to transfer the water.

I always run a line from the winterizing suction to the RV fill and have a female hose end on it. It is a tight fit but will fit under most standard RV water inlets right beside the fill point. Then you can use you RV pump to suck water from your external tank and use another regular water hose from you RV outside faucet back to your water fill point. Works awesome. If you have a large 250-300 gallon IBC tote you can just pull directly from it to your camper. We do this went dry camping at races etc for several days.

Nice video, I have a 5th wheel as you do but my water tank fill is a pressure hose attachment with a spring pressure check valve, and the drill pump will allow me to fill my tank now, thanks for the idea.

What a damn slick idea, saves from getting all wet and lifting those water jugs, seems to get heavier every year, so would you recommend using the white water hose, on both ends, and no would not use the tank water for drinking,,never have, I am not that savy so to speak for wiring up water pumps etc on the inside, so this would work perfectly,,,,thank you ,,
