Late 90s and early 2000s were the most magical time in gaming. 2D to 3D, start of open world games, the beginning of online gaming, GTA, Diablo, StarCraft, Halo, Spyro, CoD, Splinter Cell, God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, Resident Evil 4 etc. The amount of instant classics that came out 95-2005 is staggering, the true golden age.
Yeah I missed those days when gaming was truely evolving and next gen experiences was actually true! I remember being a little disoriented at first having to move the camera around in a 3d world and now it's second nature. Wait we already made a pro? OK let's call it the ps6! Let's charge 700$

sadly its true. doesn't even come close. like when the ps5 came out it was cool for a few days and then i was over it. also it was being scalped to hell and back which kind of made everyone bitter about it
I'm 42 and was obsessed with games in the 80's & 90's but GTA Vice City is where I fell off the wagon. The hours of depth, missions, and side quest did not match my then current responsibilities and obligations. Sad but good memories. 🕹 🎮👾
