This is the first of many guides/review for the latest D&D book - Candlekeep Mysteries.
Such a good name, extradimensional spaces are really joyful... Some of the times.

Of all the earlier books, this was one of the better ones! The adventures & books that followed, kind of in the middle, we thought fell a little flat, but I’m definitely looking forward to your thoughts on the latter books! When these adventures get good, they *really* get good 💖
I am running this adventure as an introduction to my Hoard of the Dragon Queen campaign. The players were in neverwinter, vortex over neverwinter opens up, out comes a silverdragon with an armored female rider, behind them, dozens of dragons along with Lord Soth come through the portal, then the portal closes. The silverdragon is badly wounded and the rider is hurt too, both crash near the players with the silverdragon changing into and old man. The rider tells the players to her get her patron Fizban too safety which they do, Fizban gains consciousness momentarily digs into his hat pulls the book of TJoES, tells one of the players too read the activation word and viola thay are all in the mansion with an unconscious Fizban and a very angry Knight of the Crown.

This adventure needs more puzzles / clues. I would expect a lot more puzzles in an escape room quest. For example, have a riddle for the players to figure out the command word rather than just an Arcana check.

I gave the book to my players at the beginning of their new campaign. Yay a hideout. But now they have to drag this huge book around. Kinda spoiled it. :)
