@thebelissima64 Who doesn't! The problem is with the limitations on oakmoss today (and the cost) along with other oils and chemical compounds, perfumers are limited. Does Sebastian know whether some niche houses use a higher oil concentration, mix in the right synthetic compounds, are not complying with IFRA recommendations or is it a combination of all three to get better sillage and projection?
That's what interest me the most. I don't care to have a fragrance that last 10-12 hours but has a skin scent. I prefer a fragrance that last less with good projection

Kerosene followed is no joke. Stays for 3-4 days on skin. Even after all the showers scrubbing etc it wont go away. I have a full bottle that i put in a plastic bag on top of it i put it in a cloth bag tie it up so my room doesnt smell like coffee. The scent radiates even without spraying from the bottle.
I want scents to be a surprise for people who enter my personal space, arms length or less. The last thing I want is to be the “cologne guy” who blasts everyone out in the room. More people dislike it than like it.

The original Dior Addict is so potent with massive diffusion. One spray will fill the whole room. I have an original bottle that has aged beautifully it’s a deep rusty orange color. I also love Van Py Rhum! And Evil Angel!

Montales Arabians Tonka. I have a lady at the office who literally takes sprays from my bottlesm Well i brung to AT and she went ham. When i retunred i may a comment about how strong it was. The next day, she said it was strong she cldnt even hower it off. 😂Thats what you get for stealing a few pumps.
Still today, I still can't smell Baccarat 540 extrait. I must be weird. I'm surprised that xerjoff Tommi didn't make it, as it's so strong and got some legs to it, lasts for ages and out of all my scents, people notice & PDM Layton.

Never see sales unfortunately at least in this country. You should make friends with SA's at places like Neimans, Saks as they occasionally put fragrances on sale and they get discounted around 15% off. Not all the time but every so often. My SA's message me that there is a sale coming. Etc etc.

I try to wear fragrances that are middle ground. Not bio weapons, but not tap water Trudies either. A nice arm's length bubble or two meter scent trail is all that I want. Any more than that and you may as well be shouting like a street person.

People need to Chill 🚫 with this diffusive, projection fragrance videos. Come on. A lot of these can be triggers to other people's health. A lot of people have allergies and illnesses that can get triggered. Please let's not make these sort of videos a norm. Social media is a powerful platform and people just go A-wall seeking attention with their fragrances. Not thinking anything else. Unless the fragrance affects them in a negative way 🙄.

It is different if you’re going out or just chilling at home. There are scents for every ocasion, it’s a matter of basic culture. Or is it fine to think of noone but yourself?

The intense version is actually smoother and more pokished version. Intensity is tge sane, but more refined
