I just went on a little vacation, and tried so many fragrances! It was awesome! I planned the whole trip to try the Louis Vuitton extrait fragrances, because it was one of the closest locations, until last week, when they got three of the six extrait fragrances at the store near me. I went there and tried those last Thursday; I had wanted to try Myriad and Symphony, and they had both. I ended up buying a bottle of Myriad. I've been really into oud fragrances lately. I was really considering not even going on my trip, but I wanted to get away for a few days and relax and go out to eat, so I went. I could walk from the hotel to the Neiman Marcus; it was really nice. I ended up buying a 50 ml bottle of Roja Parfums Sweetie Aoud parfum; I fell in love with it instantly! I tried a bunch of fragrances, and even took notes. I wanted to buy Guerlain Cherry Oud, but they didn't have it in stock. I almost went with Feve Gourmande or Santal Pao Rosa, but I really wanted Cherry Oud. They had one called Oud Kheir, or something like that, in a 200 ml bottle, but it wasn't the one I really wanted, and especially not in the big bottle. I also really loved Xerjoff Alexandria II, and I tried both of the Tony Iommi fragrances, and really liked them too. I ordered a 100 ml bottle of Alexandria II from Amazon, because they had it on sale for a few dollars cheaper than Neiman Marcus wanted for the 50 ml bottle, and it's sold and shipped by Amazon, so I have faith that it's authentic. I also tried Montale Oudmazing at Neiman Marcus, and I loved that one too! It smelled similar to fruity oud scents, like Bond No 9 Nomad or Roja Sweetie Aoud or Xerjoff Alexandria II! I might call the lady who helped me, and ask her about ordering a bottle of Oudmazing and Guerlain Cherry Oud. She gave me her card, and said she would help. Maybe I'll end up buying the other Roja Aoud fragrances too. I also tried some Initio fragrances, like Oud for Greatness and Side Effect, and some Clive Christian and Mind Games; I loved French Defense, and I tried some Amouage, like Guidance and Guidance 46, and they even had the Amouage Attars out for testing! I tried all of those, I think. There was barely any of the Oud one left, but I tried it. There was an Hermes store, but it was closed on Monday, and I left yesterday, so I just skipped it. The lady who helped me at Neiman Marcus gave me a couple decant samples I requested, and also this nice bag and matching purse, and like these bundles of free samples, and I saw that the one includes an official sample of the new Maison Francis Kurkdjian APOM fragrance, and the other has Creed Carmina, so those are both AWESOME! So long story short, I should be set for cooler weather fragrances. I now have Louis Vuitton Myriad, Nuit de Feu, and Ombre Nomade, Roja Parfums Sweetie Aoud, Tom Ford Ombre Leather EDT, EDP, and Parfum, Frederic Malle Promise, and will have Xerjoff Alexandria II, once it arrives. I also have Azzaro The Most Wanted Parfum and Intense EDP, and Kilian Angels' Share, Apple Brandy on the Rocks, and Born to be Unforgettable. Oh, I also have some MFK fragrances, like Oud Satin Mood EDP and Grand Soir, Gentle Fluidity Gold, and Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait! I have some really good Maison Margiela Replica fragrances too, like By the Fireplace, Jazz Club, Autumn Vibes, Under the Stars, Coffee Break, and Afternoon Delight too, that should be amazing in cooler weather! It's remarkable to see how much my fragrance collection has grown since I got into this hobby about six months ago!

I would never have never considered wearing Gris Charnel in higher heat! Here in NYC we likely have a few hotter days left in the season and will have to try it out! Gris Charnel extrait is probably my favorite Fall Winter scent overall. Thanks for the tip!
Naxos has been beautiful in the heat for me this summer. I'm not a big fan of the fresh, especially aquatic And have had good luck with some of the darker fragrances.

It’s always hot there right? Aventus Cologne is a great choice! Sospiro Vibrato or Basso are better choices imo if you want something fresh with amazing performance!👌🏻

I think boss bottled elixir is definitely best mode I always get compliments while wearing it it's very dark and loud and almost suffocating to me just almost if there was something stronger than this I don't think I would be able to take it I really like this one though

12 plus hours with Oblivion. I'm lucky if I get six or less. It's a great scent though. The more I've worn it the more I like it. Or maybe I go nose blind. I've this experience with most fragrances. Smell very little after four hours
