    I remember on madden 09 when u go to the HOF list u could add players from any team to the current roster. I got Reggie white on the packers he was a 99 I looked at his stat. He 100 power move. It was unstoppable

      Sterling Sharpe's career much too short. Was on track to be an all time great. Eagles seemed to have Favre's number back then.

      @@malcolmcarroll2548 Sterling was gonna be one of the greatest for sure. Over the course of his 7 year career, Jerry Rice was the only receiver who had more receptions, receiving yards, or TD catches.

    Alot of ppl say L.T. is the greatest defensive player in NFL history but in my opinion it's debateble with this man right here he was just as dangerous

      Nobody could move and make plays all over the field like Taylor, though. In his rookie year, he was a gunner on punts! DB speed and DL strength in a linebacker.

      I put Reg and LT 1A and 1B. They both wrecked massive havoc on teams for years. Imagine if they played on the same team for many years lol.

      Reggie was better because he didn't need a scheme to enable his skills. Just brute strength and opportunity. Taylor had his opponent's respect but Reggie had 320+ lb grown men, all pro's and future hof'ers, scared to play him

    1993 is probably my fav NFL season ever. Part-misty-eyed nostalgia, but I love all the great players at their peaks in this era, on many teams, and all the classic uniforms. Classic commentary pairings of Pat & Madden, Emberg & Trumpy, etc. @11:28 I love the Madden telestrations too LOL!
    Madden '92-'93 on Sega Genesis is probably the goat Madden too.

    Sterling should be in the HoF, Kenny Easley got in with about a similar length career. Im a Seahawks fan! He was the best Sharpe!

    Today's referees would pass out if they officiated this game. 90's era NFL was legendary and will never be matched. The toughness and skill of Favre, Reggie, Sterling, Randall, Hershel.... Sunday afternoons were FANTASTIC

      spinner90 nope, they did it quite a few times going back to the mid 1980s. Verne filled in for Pat Summerall when Pat did US Open tennis.

    2010 season opener and wild card game where Mike Vick got intercepted in end zone. Packers won Super Bowl that season. still hurts as Eagles fan.

    Watching this throwback, I realized there were virtually no shotgun formations. Everything was under center. Today it seems a majority of plays are from the gun.

    Notice how uncluttered the tv picture is. @6:42 there is a station identification/game info graphic that lasts about 1 second then disappears. Today, it's hard to see the program with all the logos chyrons etc etc. Today the screens are bigger, but they are made smaller with worthless graphics. Crazy.

    Philadelphia Eagles was member NFC East Division from 1970 through 1993 and Green Bay Packers was member AFC Central Division from 1970 through 1993 era

    This game was must see TV except in Atlanta we got the Saints Falcons both were to the last play however the green Bay Packers made the playoffs

    Imo the mid to late 90s would be rewritten in football history if Sterling Sharpe remained healthy. Shouldve been the greatest Packer receiver in history and would change the whole meaning of the GB vs Den match-up
