Okay... wth. Why did I not think of assigning the different player colours to different types of players when playtesting. THAT IS A HUGE TIP!!! Thanks for the video Gabe & Rob :)

Hey. I like the solo playtesting with the Red = the aggressive player; yellow = the cautious player, etc . I playtest just taking the best choice possible for every “player”, but it’s true, different players are just different. Loved this

It's excellent to hear from such an experience designer and developer. It feels good to know someone with many years and many games still has to put in the work - that there's no quick path.

Videos that show a detailed breakdown of how much you made last year from your business do really well on RUclips. I'd love to see how you make a living as an independent board game design business.

I’ve had the pleasure of playtesting remotely for Rob several times. Such an honor and so great to see where the games end up after many iterations.

So appreciate the C.S. Lewis quote; I've used that one a lot myself. Great discussion.

Excellent video, Thank you. I've been living in a bit of a bubble since we recently moved half way across the country. I've been doing my best to playtest on my own but I'm getting close to needing an outside group. FYI, I always pictured Restoration Games as an ideal publisher for my game since the original ThunderRoad ( I still own my childhood copy) was a part of my original inspiration and now I'm loving Vendetta; which is a much better game. Excellent job on that game! I love that you brought Crossbows and Catapults back too!
