Hi Tomas, Mine is coming next week. Thanks for this timely video. Will help me setup when it comes. How’s the app and is the motor quite? I returned the Headplus Pro as it was too loud for my liking and the won’t work on the JibOne. I replaced it with the Headplus so I’m following your footsteps! :)
Nice review. Did you have any micro jitter issue? What about start and end of shot? Are they really stable? Is ramping up/down speed possible? So many questions... Thank you very much for the review. it seems quite real compared to most of the reviews from the so-called filmmakers that do not make any films; at least in real situations.:-)
@@TomasVillegas Thanks for the review. I always appreciate people taking the time to do this. From what I saw and from my experience owning Edelkrone products, there was jittering at the beginning of every move. I could see quite a lot actually. I experience the same issue with the HeadOne, when the motor turns on and off (at the beginning and end of the movement) it causes a shake. The workaround I have found is to use the record function and then play the move back. Doing that, the motor continues to run at the end and hence doesn't shake. Honestly, I can't recall if it solved the issue at the beginning of the movement but definitely helps at the end. Thanks again for taking the time to do this.
Square Mountain I think there's a hyper focus on that from some, but you're right in solving the issue that way. I loop my shots so I can get the best possible results.
@@TomasVillegas I dunno, I think it's a pretty big deal. It depends on the level of perfection your project requires. For example, if producing something for advertising (TV ad or similar) then the margin for error is 0. No client would be happy with a jitter. I was doing a project recently shooting some watches and it was pretty stressful until I figured out the workaround. Obviously, it's a little unfair when motion control systems for the film industry cost tens of thousands, if not millions, but when it's never mentioned a consumer just assumes it's not an issue. Apologies if this sounds a little ranty. Not my intention.
@@TomasVillegas Mine has been shipped and I CANNOT wait to use it. Bought the HeadPLUS module with it along with the focus module because I use Meike cine lens with my pocket 4k. Thanks for your videos, it's helped me make my decision!
Hi Thomas great review, can you let me know if the battery plate is just a 2 batteries in series 14V?, I want to use an external batt pack. Please thanks...be safe.
@@TomasVillegas thanks, I know can you Please measure the voltage of the tip of the cable, just be sure it's just series +14v without any additional voltage regulator. Thanks man.
The app sees a ton of updates. Even if I covered it in this video it has changed so much since I published this video it would not be an accurate depiction of the actual app. 🤷♂️
Bro... next level man.. wow
Tech Examined Yessir 👏👏
That thing is amazing!!
It's phenomenal! 👍
Answered all of my questions. Thanks!!
Glad this helped. Thanks for watching.
Great review Tomas, Do you think it could handle a light C200 setup? (jibone+headplus+c200)
It can. But you won't be able to extend it to its full length. It's heavy and you won't be able to balance it correctly at full extension.

The app is a little clunky on Android. It will definitely need to get an update. The motor is quite than the slider. Thanks for commenting 🤝
Amazing video and great product! I want this!
Glad you found this useful Linus. Thanks for stopping by!
@@TomasVillegas I bought it after your video and personal advice! Thanks man!

I haven't experienced any issues. It's great and so far it's awesome.
@@TomasVillegas Thank you! Keep up the good work!

now that you've had extensive time with it, what are your thoughts now?
Still would buy in a heartbeat. It's a fantastic system and it works well for what I do.

How can I purchase in india

The NPF I have attached are 7.4V each, so I don't know if that answers you question?

I dont understand why they do not include a battery bracket with batteries with this thing.
I think because a lot of their customers are on different battery needs. I would hate to have to switch all my batteries to Canon.
@@TomasVillegas Ah ok, that makes sense. Thanks man.
How's the app connection?
optimumfilms Good on iOS. Sketchy on Android.
May I ask you the model of your led panels please?
I used Elgato Keylights for this video if I remember correctly.
This is just 2 good 🙏🙏
Gee, thanks for completely skipping the one thing that I needed, the app control
