I tried several different techniques I saw on here to reset the driver side window on my 2008 C300, none of them worked. Then I tried yours and it worked the first time...thank you.
I'd add that sometimes the malfunction is where the window goes up but then comes down literally halfway.

Window tip worked for my back window just had to try it a few times with 2sec-5sec-10sec holding back switch periods. Eventually it worked. Thank you

It helped with my 2012 Mercedes e350, Thank you! I still have grinding noise problem when rolling it up and down, sounds like rocks stuck in between the glass.
The noise you are hearing is the window mechanism wire that has unraveled , just replaced mine yesterday

I have 2013 MB E350 4Matic. Few months ago I had my car battery replaced by outside well known service center and not from the dealer. The dealer was asking for $800 for regular Service B, and $400 to reset this window. They did all the computer diagnostics, but they could not figure out how to reset a passenger side power window from rolling in the opposite direction when the button is pressed and it does not close all the way up.
I tried this reset window trip in this video, but it does not work for my car. What should I do?
When do the holding up, is it in the first click or in the second click (the automatic) one?
Second click. The one that would roll the window up all by itself
I need help on a 2007 window that will not open or close.
On my car I can reset the window but it keeps going back to not working properly within a few weeks are their any permanent fixes ?
Ah. It sounds like there is an underlying issue that needs to be fixed. You may need to have the door trim off to have a look. Common issues are water related. If you have got rusty connectors just cleaning them can avoid having to replace parts, but you will have to get the door panel open to get to them.

Is not turning on the engine and fully ignited the key to do this? Because it didn’t work when the engine was running.
Hi. With the car off, turn the key to the ignition on position (just before starting) but DO NOT START engine.
Then go through what I showed. Window up, hold up for 10 seconds. Window down, hold for 10 seconds.
Fixed!

What can I do is the problem is the rear window not going up with the master switch only with the rear switch ?
Might be dirt in the master switch or s loose wire. You'll have to pop the switch unit out and try moving the connectors
My window will not go up into the trim after closing the door tried the reset but it's not worked any ideas.
Mine did this too in the video. It is a bit fiddly but you will get there by press and release a few times.

I had to let it come down an inch and then roll up and hold for like 20sec, then down for 20sec, all the way up and hold, press hard once to go down. Then it fixed it

Window up/ down switch have 2 switches on each direction.
While bringing up and keeping pressed for 10 seconds up and down, just use first step switch only. If you heard press both switches gets activated. Then it will not fix the problem.
I had this experience. It didn't work when I pressed hard and activated both switches.Just use gentle first level switch press.

P.S.: this is happening only to front windows sides, back sides works perfectly fine and normal
