He missing crawfish boil, onions potatoes, sausage, corn and a ice cold beer. 😂 C'est si bon...
Black Sheep82 yeah this guys wasting his time.
Right
When they miss the ascent they doin it all wrong
People in Louisiana don't know how to cook anything without using cajun seasoning.
I’ve caught mudbugs in Missouri for years and we always cook em whole! Especially when you have claws that ACTUALLY have meat in them! This has to be the most wasteful way to eat crawfish that I’ve ever seen!
I agree.
Man I wish California pumped out a quality, informative, and wholesome video like this. The regulations seem almost identical. -Eastern Sierra Creek Fisher
I live in Arizona and I’m embarrassed. 😩
Here in Lousiana we use cajun spices and boil the damn crawfish. You are doing this for no reason. It is hard as hell to watch lmao
This guy is a different kind of special.
You said that this thing destroying your ecosystem . But why did you need those license to catch em ? Lol
XVG Whale Ain’t that the truth
There's nothing 'fishy' about it
it's for fishing in general, but the license provides you with the knowledge that you can't carry them somewhere else cause they're invasive
@@hans3331000 Cant carry them home to cook?? What are they going to revolt???
@@stevejames9510 first of all, they have to be dead first. Cant carry live gobies.
Live crawfish are the freshest crawfish. Just put them in a sealable bucket and take them Johnny's home. Got bless Texas yee yee
Wasting the claws, N I C E!
Mash them up a bit and throw them in the lake. Feed their brothers and sisters. Recycle!
It's better than sending them to a landfill.
Why would you... even the crayfish feels disrespected..
My God, what fresh hell is this? Don't stab them, cook them, then peel.
We in Lousiana have entire Facebook pages devoted to Yankees trying to cook crawfish. I think this one may be the worse I've seen yet lol
I'm from NOLA this is a travesty!
Literally cringed when I watched this.
What’s the page
Agreed
What's the page
If they're not native, why put restrictions on traps, licensing, etc.? Thanks politicians!
Because they want your money! They think they own you!
Ding, Ding, government control baby, big government

i agree, this gave me headache, a paradox
I like how you pulled out the vein from the crawfish! Very smart!
If you purge them properly that is unnecessary
@@windsorfox How do you purge them?
this dude has no idea how it’s done as a proud “louisianian” this offends me🤦🏻♂️
Tyrzi R6S different strokes for different folks. Between the big pillow traps y’all have down there in LA and the cooking methods are are different. Don’t let it get to ya. Plus, these crawfish are not a signal or red crusty....these look like the Australian blue Yabi’s.
You need to understand they have an entirely different culture different types of food its fine if they do it different
I mean if you're offended go eat your skrimp your way and let others be
how are you supposed to do it? as a native born arizonian i have no clue how to do this but i can teach you how to make cactus salsa
RIGHT. all you gotta do is get a shit ton of them, get ya water with all your spice and seasoning, and you just let them bitches soak. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmMMMMM fuck i want some crawfish now.
Fishing license to trap an invasive species? Think I found why you have a problem.
That’s exactly what I was thinking.
Good point. Not to mention limiting trap size as if they actually want them.
You are cooking butter not crayfish.
I lost it.....lol
Who uses a rolling pin 😂😂 we them Oklahoma boys better peel them bad boys!
Work smarter not harder boi
Naw - That's practice for Anger Management 101
This is the dumbest Crawfish video I’ve seen!
If you can’t take them away alive, just have a good Cajun Boil at the lake!
😂😂😂😂
Chicken livers work great for bait, and cheap. Cheers! Chris.
Thank you for this video. Well done.
tHOSE SOME CRAZY looking crawdads
Tynx so much for sharing
Very nice and an lot of cray fish in there 👍👌❤️
bro im from spain and thats not a spanish cuisine not even near, starting with we never cook with butter, lol
PRONITE TEAM Olive oil everything in Spain. Which is healthier.
@@mrdude88 yeah maybe healthy buttt mannnn nothing better than butter
South West USA so it is more Mexican version
We just catch me then throw em in the boiler lol
the best part of the cray fish is the head, and you threw that away, what a waste
Are you serious? Do you eat the head? 😨
@@damnedmadman no most southern people suck the crawfish's head because it's tasty
@@chrissadd4051 But... you mean they suck out and swallow its guts? 🤢
@@damnedmadman no we just suck out the juice not the guts 😂
@@chrissadd4051 Crayfish gut juice? Mhmm... sounds delicious 🤣 so you kiss it in the "face" or in the place where the tail is usually attached? 😂
I’m from New Orleans...this video offends me sir
i'm from georgia and it pisses me off. never seen such horse doody before.
I love Arizona crawfish! I catch them all over!
Cook them when you catch them and you can transport them anywhere. Great video! Gave me an idea Crayfish taco's!
Yum looks delicious!!!!!!!!!
Crispy voice...I like your presentation too Sir
Lol, just go to youtube and search Louisiana crawfish boil...
Yes lol that's what I'm saying!
AND Texas mud bug boils
Does rolling them like that just lose some of the meat though? I feel like there is a more efficient way to clean them so you get all of the meat, there isnt much there to begin with so I imagine just peeling them maybe would be more effective but time consuming? Can you eat Crayfish as well from say North West Ohio? Down south in Louisianna crawfish boils were my favorite man a cold Bud Light and some crawfish is a magical thing man.
THE COMMENTS THO! 😂😂😂
the cook is cool. garlic. good stuff.
Geez that looks like a good feed 👌🏽
Grabbing the middle fin and pulling deveins the crawfish! Pretty cool actually! Thumbs up man! Myself, always thought that even though the claws are small there is still some meat in them. Someone needs to figure out how to think of a way to get it all out
I just crack the claws like I would crab claws. Crawfish claws in my opinion are the best meat if they are big enough.
The way they pronounce "cray-fish" makes me cringe. It's crawfish...crAW-fish.
Welcome to Arizona 😂😂😂
Shut up English language nazi.
Its crayfish you nite wit. Any freshwater crustacean looking like a lobster is a crayfish
We always called them crawdads. Crayfish always seemed a little efite.
@@debbied7035 I call em crawdads too!!
Nice video!
1:29 who else heard crayfish crapping XD I DID LOL
Yeuh yeah what everrrrr
Seeing that display of DEAD crawdads turned my stomach.
"These are invasive, we want to get rid of them."
-But only a handful at a time, and we want money for you to do it for us.
Government..
Not to mention trap size restrictions!
The UK government wants a licence for trapping American signal crayfish they need wiping out from UK waters our white clawed crayfish is under threat.I take it Arizona had no Cray's .Honestly thought they were in all states maybe not Alaska.
Boil them ole sons!!! You doing it all wrong! Hahah 🙈
I have never eaten them, but there are so many here in Arkansas and some people love them so much. I prefer eating Shrimp instead and they are so delicious so I guess the Crayfish are as delicious also.
You can’t stop crawfish
I got some that look exactly like these at lake Georgetown Central Texas good eating!
Hell the old school ways is just wading into a creek or lake and catching them bare handed. Did that to feed my pet raccoons growing up, they love crawdads.
Hell yeah gold water lake
Nice video
Back in the fifties, many bars in WI would give them away while you were sitting at the bar having a beer. I had a few crayfish boils and had buddies over. I just boiled them live and dump them on the table and start eating.
i think if they got a couple of cajuns in there......
Neat trick to remove the 💩 chute!
dang dem some big ole cray fish wooo lol
I’ve never eaten crayfish before...I’ll make a trip in 2020 down south to try it fresh
I’m from Louisiana and that’s not how you do this lord 🤦🏽♀️
EATING CRAWDADS THE SOUTH WAY IS THE BEST
I have never seen crawfish cooked this way you boil them with onion and peppers and corn and sausage and Cajun spices and you cook them whole
they’re called crawfish and you boil them live thank you for coming to my ted talk
Savannah Grissom crawfish crawdads crayfish its all just different words for the same thing and there is more than one way to cook them
Its like saying the only way to make chicken is to deep fry it
It's CRAWWWWWFISH. Jeeez.
Wow great looking crayfish compared the crappers we get in the south east.
People in Louisiana are like, WTF?! 😂
georgia too!!
A lotta work when you can just use some old bay haha
Johny come lately.. Says the Cajun & the Chinaman
did he just say, "really nice, fresh *CRUSTY* bread"
"some butter"
Puts the whole batch of butter.
Thanks for this video! I found it to be helpful overview of another way to process crayfish besides the typical boil. The rolling pin technique took a little getting used to but worked great. Simple recipe and delicious!
This is a joke right?...my goodness. Putting the whole thing in BOILING water is just as fast..
Steven Deville and they stuck a knife thru their head😂
Never cook shellfish with their guts. Ruins the flavor. The time it takes to shell them after boiling is about the same as dressing them out before cooking.
From louisiana. These guys are nuts haha.
Who told him that this was correct?! 🤦🏻♀️
Some folks from Louisiana need to come and teach these poor desert folk how to catch, cook, and eat crawfish.
This is the BEST video on crawfish I've seen. THANK YOU.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 FISH AZ‼️(& CRAWFISH 🦞)
Thats a serious takling
I think he tried to do some "Gambas al Ajillo" or Garlicky shrimp style. It's pretty good but he seems to have over cooked the crawfish a lot, normally you only get the oil hot, put the garlic dice in big parts, some chilies (cayenas are the tipical ones used), wait for the garlic to get golden and put the shrimp, cook about a minute and serve sizzling hot.
Thanks
Nice Video! To see a vintage AGFD crayfish video copy and paste in search RUclips with "Arizona Lobster: Tips on Catching and Cooking Crayfish"
I'm not Cajun... but who rolls a rolling pin on a crawdad?? Not me! lol
WHOOO WHOOO WHEEE CONGRALUATION TO YOU
If one wants to cook with raw crayfish, the easiest way is to kill them by a quick blanching in boiling water.
Put some at a time in boiling water for 30 sec, then lift up and put in ice water.
Easier to peel then.
imagine the guy makes another video but eats the shell of the crawfish
Where you at guy ? Thats beautiful scenery out behind you !
These are some beautiful crawfish tho....
Cajuns never dispatch or kill crawfish before cooking them. In fact when we find a dead one it does not go into the boiling water. It is trash. I have never seen anybody take the crawfish all apart (taking tail meat filé). When the quarantine is over, go to my home town (Lafayette, La) to eat real crawfish by the bushels. Regards from Rio de Janeiro
Great Britain has issues with evasive American Signal crayfish too! They were introduced to GB but now their population has exploded because not many Brits are eating them.
i did this when i was a kid , caught over 100 of them and ate them with garlic butter, i actually liked it better than lobster.
I fish with literally a chicken leg on a string and a hand net. Use a knife to shred the chicken leg so they can hold onto it, let it sit on the bottom for just a few minutes, and slowly bring it up to the surface. Crayfish won't usually let go until they absolutely have to, so you'll have 2-8 Crayfish each time you pull it up, then you just slowly put the net under it and pull it all out.
After the 3rd “crayfish” I quit watching.
You all should do more wild game cooking videos.
Thanks for the suggestion! We've been trying to make a few more, here's playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLrzVVRRIBxrVhW6S3qYzuOXXBU5JFXLwZ
I can't believe what I just witnessed.....😂😂😂😂
WE GOT CRAYFISH IN AZ??? DADDYS GONNA HAVE A BOIL
Cher, you don't know what you doin'!
Great video! Thank you!
dis fish is cray
Arizona can go jump into that lake they've got in the background... you can catch crawfish all day long in Louisiana with no license whatsoever, carry them alive anywhere you want, and eat till the cayenne pepper burns your tongue off... Arizona's biggest problem isn't the Crawfish, it's all the laws they create, governing all aspects of American Life.
Thats some big ass crayfish
Want some crayfish with that butter???
I didn’t have traps so I just freedive and pick them up lol
STEAM THEM LIKE YOU WOULD LOBSTER OR MARYLAND CRABS WITH J.O SEASONING, MMMM GOOD!
This is your body on crawdads!
