Spreading awareness of the needs of introverts is a public service. If more extroverts are willing to divert their attentions toward more receptive quarry it will be a benefit to all involved.
As an introvert, I can relate. I'm up at 4am for 5 hours of silence and alone time, before the wife and dogs intrude, and I must...speak. I grocery shop at 6 am to avoid "crowds". Recently, I read a comment in a YT video about introverts: when I speak to somebody for an hour, I need to be alone for the next 24. My wife finds this strange, given that I can do public speaking to hundreds of people and think nothing of it. People often think that shyness and being an introvert are the same. Nope.
So true. I am a hyper-introvert but also quite performative, it makes people really confused when they first meet me and then later on they can't get me to talk to them again. They think I hate them but really I'm just in recovery lol
I don't talk to strangers unless it's someone who is the spitting image of someone I care about "you're the spitting image of a nice person I know from school/work/visiting the library. Are you related to...?" Otherwise I don't like to talk to strangers. And even with the doppelgangers, I prefer to skip the small talk.
As an introvert one of the most romantic things my husband can do for me is when he notices I’m missing something or my meal is wrong and he just quietly goes to get it for me. 🥺❤️
Every now and then, as I’m ducking between racks to avoid someone that I just don’t have the energy to talk to, I find myself wondering “How many people duck *me* ? How can I let them know that an up-nod and a ‘Hey’ is perfectly fine with me?” Introverts can be highly pleased to see someone *and* not really want to chat. A big smile and heartfelt “Hey, girl!” are really all we need most of the time.
I'll admit that there have been times when I've seen people I know in public and have diverted course to avoid having to interact. It's not even people who I don't like. It's just that I was not expecting to have to talk while I was out is all.... :p

I'm fairly introvert (I was an Only Child), but I do like a good chat with good friends/interesting people. What drives me spare is BORING people... who don't know they're boring 🤪. Great video - as always.
My neighbor across the street likes to hang out in his front yard. He opens his garage door, gets a chair and just sits there. (He has a perfectly fine backyard. I don’t know why he doesn’t sit there!) if I’ve been out and am just getting home I often tell him I have to pee so I don’t have time to talk. He probably thinks I have bladder issues! 😆Great video! I am a weird combination of introvert and extrovert. I can talk to strangers, but after a half hour I need to be alone for at least two hours to recover. The introvert half usually rules, though. I once went on a two week vacation by myself and didn’t speak to anyone. At all. I was glorious.

I can so relate to this video. I try to avoid people just because I don’t want to make small talk.
At 53 years old, I only like to go out with family now. I'm done with fake lunches with others. Boring. I don't want to be fake anymore.
My husband and I love your videos, even though he still can’t get your name right. To him, you’re the Holdersons 😂 Thanks for bringing a laugh and a smile to our week. ❤
That's hilarious! 😂
Kim is my spirit animal!!!! 💗
I'm fairly introvert (I was an Only Child), but I do like a good chat with good friends/interesting people. What drives me spare is BORING people... who don't know they're boring 🤪. Great video - as always.
I have a co worker like that. 30 minute long stories of absolute torture..
You guys have hit it out of the park with this one. Alltime favorite.
This is too funny. Love the narration. It’s spot on Penn.
And so true!!
Full control of the remote and thermostat 😂
Both are key...
With the 🐶 ❤
My husband said he would get along with Kim so well. This video was him 100%!
OMG!! You've been following me around, and this report is really about my life. 😂
You got us lol
Omg...as an introvert the food part is so true. Sometimes I just go places early just to avoid the crowds. I never go to the gym, when I did go, there was always that ONE person on the phone having a loud and many a times private conversation.
🤣 so funny and true! I'm going to have my husband watch, maybe he'll understand me more.
I was working at my desk near our front door the other day and someone rang the door bell and I ran to the other room...he was like what are you doing?🤣
I always run too. Unfortunately I have a young child who likes to ask at full volume "WHAT ARE YOU HIDING FROM MOMMY?" 💀💀💀
Possibly the best episode they have ever done and I love all you’re episodes 😂
Yep. I agree. Introverts should unite! Separately in their own homes.
I shop for groceries on Sunday morning at 9AM when everyone else is asleep or at church just to avoid noisy crowds. I also only go walking at night when its dark to avoid people.
Kim I so feel you with this video! I’ve done something similar at a store when I see someone I know but don’t want to talk to them! Lol! Also, I love my husband, but I do enjoy it when he is not at home and I have the house to myself! 😂😂
I've gotten really, _really_ good at keeping just out of someone's line of sight without being obvious about it. It's lead my brother to accuse me of being a ninja on more than one occasion, but of I don't have to make awkward small talk, I will take it!!😅
That is so funny especially the part about the silence or the baguette.
Funny AF! A lot of these only apply to introverts with anxiety though, my husband and I are introverts without having those issues thankfully lol
Introverts without anxiety exists?!
I am a weird combination of introvert and extrovert. I can talk to strangers, but after a half hour I need to be alone for at least two hours to recover. The introvert half usually rules, though. I once went on a two week vacation by myself and didn’t speak to anyone. At all. I was glorious.
Such a fun (and relatable) video! It made my Friday. Thank you!
We need one of these for an extrovert! Love this so much!!
This was epic and wildly good, pun intended! Also the Jag-u-ar pronunciation was pretty funny. 😊
Sunrises are the best for me. No one else is awake or around for 3 hours, just me, a drink, some gaming and my diary on whatever equivalent of a balcony I have at the time. Bliss.
Absolutely amazing and incredibly accurate!
You are killing it! The amount of topics that you cover very succinctly is impressive in a comedic way. GenX keep it real as the world needs help with simple tasks. Remember what Grandpa taught you. Stop and help a stranger, unless they are on fentenyl, look like a possible Karen, are an able bodied 20 yr old male with a sign. I will keep watching.
Introverts Unite! This was funny AF OMG! Having apps to order my lunch from so I don't have to wait and can pick up and eat in silence is awesome. The whole come home and spouse is a extrovert is so our house.
As an introvert in the South--so relatable. 😂 Thank you for sharing!
🤣❤️ I love Pen narrating. The best...Pen you need to do voice overs
I'm commenting on this video because it really spoke to me and people who make videos always ask viewers to leave comments. I never do, but will this time because I appreciated the video so much that even though I don't understand "Leave a comment below" I'm happy to do so for such a well-crafted video.
Love the narrative voice and this is so funny
Other than 2 phone calls and talking to my cat , i spent the entire day in complete silence. It was great!
Relating! So that's why I get up so early in the morning 🤔😁😁
I liked that u didn't say " End Scene", slapping ur hands together. I hope that was constructive criticism 🥰🥰 Love ur channel!!!!
Thanks for the feedback 💛 enjoy your quiet time this morning!
You hit the nail on the head this time, great video. All relatable. You, Penn, and Ann Marie are great.
😂😂😂
Again so relatable ! And Penn’s voiceover was on point !!
Brilliant concept, and so well-done. And Penn's voice & Ann-Marie's presentation were so over the top that I didn't recognize either of them.
Yo… Not sure how I feel about Penn revealing all our secrets for navigating the wild! How will we now survive? 😂
I come back to this video whenever I need to feel seen as an introvert, have a laugh or think about how you should have won an award for the narrative 😃
As someone who had done pretty much all of these things, I feel quite seen ❤
That is so much my husband and I, he strikes up conversations wherever we go
