    Thanks for showing the cars pipes for the heating especially how it goes from the block to the heater matrix via the valve, I never had a clear idea of how the pluming goes until now👍🏼👍🏼

      Hi Curi0u50ne, awesome glad it was helpful. if you swop the loop pipe and the heater return, the car may overheat randomly. so very important to connect correctly.

    clean clean work! smart way of making it cleanly tucked, honestly the level of work you do? is not a "budget" friendly work if a shop would do it 🤣 thats what makes me enjoy your vids and support as we know there are alot out there that want to work on their project but budget and life gets in the way
    so these videos of your project is a nice way of showing them that they can do it too! smartly :)

      Hi SRD, thanks! Yes a shop would charge a lot for so much work,, its not easy but worth it in the end, and yeah its true, life and budget normally determines the build.

    Real nice work brother , I’m working on the same build , what’s your transmission set up?

    • @RisingBoostYT
      @RisingBoostYT  2 года назад +1

      Hi Jose, thanks. I run the S20 Stock D-series box, Manual. it has mid range ratios, so its okay for boost. the long ratio boxes are rare here. it is open diff but my setup is stock so grip should be fine.

    Where did you get the cast turbo manifold, I like it

    • @RisingBoostYT
      @RisingBoostYT  2 года назад +1

      Hi Bro, only place I could find it recently was on EPMAN Racing on AliExpress - s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_ADcvbH
      It is a Greddy Replica.

      Thanks a lot bro! I just bought a 96 ek and I’m going turbo. My last setup was ramhorn equal length. That’s was cool but I couldn’t keep ac so I’m going cast.

    • @RisingBoostYT
      @RisingBoostYT  2 года назад +1

      Yeah, the one I am using was designed to keep AC, however it does not include the cast downpipe that lets you keep AC. But if you use a small turbo and make a a tight down pipe it should be possible to keep AC

    Hey do you think you could also work on some ones else car as well ? Really would be interested in you doing some work on my civic D series

      @RisingBoostYT  3 года назад +1

      Hi Thulani, sadly no. I have a full-time job, hence why it took 6 months to finish the engine build. also, I'm not a mechanic, most of my knowledge comes from watching RUclips videos.

    Hi, I recently found your channel and I have been glued to it, Iam rebuilding my D16a7 and I must say you have inspired me to do the same just without a turbo. Where did you get the cooling pipes yhoo I dig them alot? Keep it clean yeah?

    • @RisingBoostYT
      @RisingBoostYT  3 года назад +1

      Hi Antony, glad you enjoying the content! I got the pipes from AliExpress just before covid, so they cost me around R500 landed, now days the shipping bumps up the price a bit. seen a few sets locally for around 1000-1400 but its not common. I would recommend checking AliExpress, eBay or Amazon for the best deal. the quality is really good. A7 is a good motor with a P08 vtec head (may need a adjustable cam gear), bumps up the compression a bit. P2K intake from a Y9 with a B20 throttle body also helps (if you can wire up the different style ivac). good luck with the build!

    pretty cool but dont you think this opens the door for electrical issues being in the wheel well getting soaked and dusty every drive

    • @RisingBoostYT
      @RisingBoostYT  6 месяцев назад

      Yes correct, I recommend taping up the connectors in plastic, also having fender liners will prevent it getting wet
