Nice cars my father had one a year or so ago he's now got an ml420cdi but to be fair the e320 cdi was a lovely car to drive you could fall asleep driving it it was so smooth and comfy, it was remapped and made about 260ish bhp but the torque was phenomenal been thinking of flogging my 300bhp saab 95 estate to get one, need something to tow and save money fuel wise now lol
Nice car. Iv’e got the E320 cdi sport, with 18 inch wheels. I believe stock it’s 222bhp. I really like the car. Very comfortable for long distances. Not too expensive to maintain - but then nothing really bad has gone wrong, luckily. The one little thing that annoys me is when it’s been raining and you open the boot lid, water drips from the edge of the boot lid into the boot. But that’s not much to complain about really.
Love this! I have a Chrysler 300C with the same engine, OM642, remapped to 300 ish brake... will do 0-60 in under 6 seconds, not bad for a 2 tonne car 😂 great choice though, love a good W211
@@houseofmods Definitely 👌 Love the V6 diesel growl on full chat too, definitely a great engine 💪 actually gassed for content on this, love big saloons 😂
Hi mate just looked at a 2006 2 owner e320 cdi it’s fully loaded sunroof and even has vented seats £2600 would you say that’s a good price It’s very straight and honest 148000 miles
@@houseofmods enjoy it. I sometimes wish I'd never sold my E55, these are good cars. Yours being a later one has much better build quality than the earlier ones.
@@houseofmods should last you a good while then! Yeah it was quite fun. The 5 speed auto was a bit rubbish and the open diff wasn't great, but it had 522bhp and 634lb ft of torque so it would over come the open diff and light up both tyres with ease. In the end I wanted to get back into something more aimed at driving than luxury, so moved it on for something a bit more exciting in the handling department, if a little slower in acceleration, but the sound makes up for it (just, as the E55 sounded good).
@@houseofmods I’m completely wrong. It appears they updated from 3.2 S6 to 3.0 V6, all in the same generation (w211). What a strange move from Mercedes 🧐🧐🧐
@@houseofmods Who do you have in mind for the remap? I’ve been looking at Celtic Tuning. I’d love to see how the S6 & V6 compare with a few drag runs 😉
@@LRS7B not Celtic they’re numbers are always higher then given, as for performance I’d rather have the 3.0, the 3.2 is much more reliable with the 5g also but the 3.0 is much quicker especially the 7g box.

This looks great! Awesome video!
Thank you dude
I always wanted one of these but was put off because everyone says mercs are super expensive to repair
I did wonder that, however after looking for front discs and pads it came to a respectable £156 which i think is fair!
have these got an om648 in them. PS just stumbled across you in a fb group pal, keep up the good work m8
Thanks bud! These are v6 i thought it was om642 but i may be incorrect!
@@houseofmods you're correct mate as the om648 is inline the om642 is a v6
Saw you today. I was behind you in the white BMW m135i
Oh! Haha i wanted to play but i had my girlfriend following me so didnt want to leave her behind 😂
you will love it bud I love mine
Really liking this mate, will save you money too 👍🏻

I would say 2000 pounds for its mileage
mine is CDI 320 2006 , 380k miles and i bought it for 3000! its good price what you have or had :)
Smart 👌🏻
Thank you dude
@@houseofmodsI sold my GTi for a diesel a few years ago to save for my own gaff. It was the best move I ever made.
Oh yeah i love this thing and saving money is a bonus too
@@houseofmods I went from £350 road tax to £20 😂
And £200 plus a month in petrol to £50 in diesel.
It's all part of growing up! 😂
I was looking at this car on auto trader in Feb! Do you still have it? How is it doing?
I sold it a few months back, it was a great car and super clean but it wasn’t for me 🤷🏻♂️
Looks tidy. I think the colour is Cubanite Silver, it looks the same colour as my old E55 AMG Kompressor.
Yeah thats the one thanks for clearing that up! 😁

can the e320 cdi handle short trips to work 7 days a week. like 6 miles to work.
Nice ride, not something I would expect. How much squid did you pay for it?
I paid a reasonable £1950 for it which i think is a steal given its condition!
iam still w8ing
What’s the Song at the beginning?
Oh torque is 500nm stock by the way dude 👍
Lovely! It does feel strong!
I think its actually almost 550nm
