The Skoal bandit, race shops is in Denver. With the dark green floor. It the one that has the car sing out front. I don’t know if you seen 1000 times you’ve been all around that area
You are becoming my favorite go to for great interviews. You don’t over talk everybody you let them talk it’s not about you. It’s about what you’re doing. It’s a fantastic fantastic day but you can show yourself a little more. We don’t mind.🎉🏆
Kenny is such a hoot to listen too, his mind is just going a 100mph remembering everything. His memory is pretty good as well. You should contact the guy that has the doors and SQD hood and get some photos of them. I'd be interesting to see how he's saved them. Thanks for sharing Kenny's world of NASCAR 👍🏻
When he was in that post race show on Speed. I would literally watch it just to here him break down the race and listen to his opinions on the on/off track action. Those live shows were some fun times especially when fans were interacting havinv signs waving trying to get the camera's attention.
Kenny is down-to-earth, and has this great capacity to be happy, be able to remember the whole trajectory of his life, racing career, and be ok with all the ups and downs. Just a cool person. Thanks for capturing Kenny's memories and all the shop buildings he worked out of.
Dang Mitch! Another home run video. I do believe you are the Ken Burns of racing documentaries. Thank you for all the effort you two put into these. Trust me NASCAR will come knocking on your door to produce videos like this. HOLD ONTO THE RIGHTS, DO NOT SELL YOUR HARD WORK TO ANYONE.
Never would don’t worry. I didn’t take the hard way for the last 5 years to sign off and row someone else’s boat. I’m not built to work within someone else’s system 😂
Thank you again for all the work you both!!!! It really ties the past to the present. Thank you for ALL the guests too!!Kenny, Randy, Rusty, Mark, Lake, Jimmy, Richard and Dale. All the subject matter EXPERTS wind tunnel, crew members, museum historians, Family members, machining Journeymen/Pro Stock Champion, Team owners…. SPONSORS (Pennzoil…) …And the many more involved for the future
Thank you Mitchell! I’m 41yrs young. You are bringing to life so many childhood memories of mine. I was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan and was in person for his last victory where Kenny pushed him to the win at Talladega. You are bringing history to life!!!
Im starting to obsess with these stories. In whats it been maybe a week ive watched Kenny's and your videos interviews n storing telling i want more. Its so cool. Seen kennys with amoke n mark martin. Now ive watched urs with rusty kerry earnhardt mark martin and kenny n i love it all.
Gotta love Kenny Wallace. Hes straightforward and tells it like it is. I fogot he drove the Penzoil car, until now. That was when I watched a lot of NASCAR. Never missed a race then
Yep another great one. Kenny is awesome. Met him randomly 10 years ago in a gas station. I said hello to him and he was just as genuine and down to Earth as this video.
So glad that Kenny is now getting a head of steam in subscribers on his RUclips. I was actually shocked that he had under a million. He is awesome content, such a great personality. So cool that you are both collaborating on his racing career and in turn it is boosting both of your subscribers. Great job!
My girlfriend and I absolutely love your channel! When we first came upon your videos, as I remember, we took a whole weekend and watched every video from beginning to end!! You and Logan are definitely some of the best content creators on RUclips!! Thank you both for your passion!!! I'm an "old school" NASCAR dude. I don't really like the "new" NASCAR! I like the days of when it took fuel mileage, tire wear, survival skill and driver/team skill and passion, to actually win races!! We love the fact that both of you explore the old days of the sport. The old stories, drivers, teams, cars and shops! Thank you both again for an awesome channel!! Keep up the great content!!! Best regards, Chris & Maria
Hey Kenny: Appreciate all the Square D references especially the Elan home automation system installation. Proud to have you with us through the #81 FilMar and #55 Petree years. (Sorry he bad mouthed you).
Another awesome video!! Love the way you present the history of NASCAR!! Also, impressed with your knowledge of tennis great Bjorn Borg and his trophies- As an aside Borg may have been from Sweden Again, thanks for sharing this video and your time with the viewers!!
I love how your just hanging out with some of the biggest names of NASCAR from my favorite era of the mid-late 90's. Feels like you're buddies with them all and they are just down to hang out and talk about old memories of racing for those lesser known teams. When I'm down the RUclips rabbit hole of old races, very likely its from the late 90's. That Square D car, either the #81 or #55, is just one of those Iconic, yet simple paint schemes.
I've watched a number of Kenny Wallace interviews and wasn't sure I would watch all 32 minutes of this one. I was wrong. Taking Kenny back to some of his race shops brought out more interesting stories that I had never before heard. Of course, you know a lot of the history of NASCAR and can draw out information that may not have otherwise been shared with us.
A year late but---- Wow what a flashback. I was in this building in 1994ish to hook up with a friend that worked for Filmar racing in an effort to get me hook up with Red Line oil. I was shown a few things about their oils and saw a butt load of 9" Ford rear end chunks sitting upside down in 5 gallon buckets with RedLine gear oil still stuck to some of them after years of sitting. I also remeber the nut and bolt bins Keeny mentioned. We ended up getting a sponsorship with Red Line and we recieved pallets of oils. Ahh, good times!!
Kenny Wallace is awesome I met him in 98 when I went to the Petty Driving experience. He was there hanging out with us and showing us his Plymouth Prowler. I think he was there with a friend of his driving at the Petty Experience or something like that.
I ran into Kenny in 2008 at the Lakehill Speedway reunion and I love listening to his stories. Get a couple of beers in him and he'll talk your ears off. I'm glad to watch these videos about the heyday of Nascar.
I forgot about that Rockingham race, heartbreaking but Kenny Wallace was man enough to have that experience and hold his head high! Much respect to him!
And….another great production by Stapleton! Gotta love Kenny Wallace. Words of wisdom. I can relate in many ways. It’s a great thing to be content and blessed in life. My favorite home to this day is our first home where both our daughters were born. It was only 1200 SF but has the best memories of any of our homes. Size doesn’t matter
tell ya what I love and what connects with me the most about these stories when you took Kenny to the Red Dog Busch Series shop and he walked out and stood there reminds me so much of me as a kid going to shops with my dad
Great story with Kenny, love what you are doing and kinda miss the Cadillac and monte carlo, ect. I know there's only so much content there, but some of that once in awhile would be awesome. Wallace for President, Stapleton VP
When i was younger me and my father used to explore industrial parks around racetracks in germany and see what raceteams had shops there. These Videos remind me of that time! Really great! Awesome you got kenny back! thanks for all that effort
I remember in the garage at Talladega 1998 July race morning the 81 team was changing engine in a frantic rush "they still had to go thru tech etc and this was about 9:30 or 10am and already hot .... Fil was in a brown and tan checker pattern flannel looking suit coat, tie and hair greased back standing in front of the car watching the crew change engines..... I took a picture ... I remember thinking how hot he had to be ... This was race dale & bill tumbled down front stretch .... The car in the museum in GA.
Who doesn’t like the Hermanator! My first pit pass was with Square D @ Richmond and I got to meet Kenny and I still have a signed hat from him. Love Kenny
All the history content is amazing. I remember going to see Square D car when I was a kid in the mid 90s and Kenny may have even been there I don’t remember
13:20 If thats the shop off 601 in Concord, we worked out of there '97-'99. Lance Norick was the driver, Billy Woodruff was our crew chief, NHL was the sponsor.
Another banging episode I absolutely love where they go back to there old shops and tell us all there stories and memories!! Another one I can’t wait to watch!! Thanks Mitchell thanks Logan for all your hard work and keeping the golden era alive!! 🏴👌🏻
I'm having to catch up on 3 uploads but I have to say, like I always do, awesome Video and a BIG THANK YOU! to your Lady and you and all of your AWESOME guests like Kenny and the folks who opened up the Shop for y'all to video. You are keeping an amazing documentary of the History of NASCAR and I love watching them and reliving watching the old races with my Daddy, now my Daughter and me go to local Short Track Races and we go to the local 1/8th Mile Drag Races. I hope she will look back one day and see these Videos and have memories the same way I am having memories of my Daddy and me, thank you so much! 🤙🏼👍🏼
Thanks for sharing 👍🏻. ❤️❤️ You two bring so many memories back, Kenny Wallace was a great two part series, thank you two so much ! ✌🏻🧡🤘😛 😁 🇨🇦. 🍁 Ontario.
The story after Kenny left this race shop and went to Andy Petree racing is why (when I had all these people telling me that I had what it took to go to work in Nascar) is why I never listen to those people urging me to go to Nascar. Along with I already got plenty of time on a broom, and I most definitely wasn't going to be put on a broom there in Nascarland.
