- Abandoned Boston Market - Cranberry Township, PA. Enjoy a look at this recent closure. Boston Market has been struggling for years. Often visiting the Cranberry Township area, I frequently forgot this place was even still open. It usually was not that busy compared to all the other places to eat at in the immediate area.

No way 😂 Me and my dad were walking past the Boston Market in Shadyside and we were both talking about how that’s the only one we know of that’s open and in the area and how the one in Cranberry closed and then BOOM, here comes a video on it 😂

I used to go to Boston market all the time as a kid (we’d go to the doctor and then Boston market after lol) and I remember the food just being good and nostalgic. We stopped going to that doctor a while back and stopped going to Boston market too. Then a couple years ago I decided to try it out again and it was extremely bland, boring, and the portion sizes were super small. The workers barely acknowledged my presence when I went to pick up my food and the place was super desolate and dirty too. This is the Boston market in howell NJ that I’m not even sure is still open at this point haha. Sad to see all these places deteriorating and closing

Oh my goodness! LOL That sign saying "we're Open" reminds me of the sign they had on the long-gone Dairy Queen in Homewood that said: We're Closed For The REASON! ...I think I had Boston Market/Chicken 2 or 3 times, and each time could never remember how it tasted. Must not have been too memorable. Great vid, Wallie. Kudos to you and Kayla. :-D
An awesome video, Wallie and Kayla! I ate at a Boston Market one time back in 2000. The Boston Market was in Pittsburgh, of course, the location was the one on the way up to UMPC hospital, the cardiology division. That was when my Mom had open heart surgery. Thanks for making me laugh when I watch your videos. We all need laughter in our lives. Have a KMartlicious Day!

There was a Boston Market at the Waterfront that closed. Also one on Greentree Road that I think is still open.
As of right now the one on Greentree Road is still open. That location and the location on Baum Blvd is still open. But I feel like it's only a matter of time before those locations close up shop.
Hi Wallie and Kayla. The Boston Market used to be good in Flemington NJ near where I live literally 5min away. But then in later years the food definitely changed and it got way too expensive for fast food!! A turkey dinner or chicken dinner meal with 2 sides was over 30.00!! Oh well. They closed it last yr and is now an expensive Chipotle!! Anyway love ur videos. Have fun and stay safe. Can't wait for the next video. Much respect from NJ

Boston Market was the place we'd go for office lunch when we were trying to avoid endless burgers and fries. :) Like Luby's, they always felt like a place to get food that felt a little better for you. We stopped in one that was open just a few weeks ago, took one look at the food, and left. Just not the same. Great video!

I have a 1983 k5 Blazer no rust thank god for the south.
The last time I saw a Boston Market was in 2015 when I went to Philadelphia for work. Given that you can get their stuff frozen at the store, knowing that alone gave me no desire to go there. The last time I went into one was when I was a young kid and I have no desire to seek them out.
The Boston Market near me became a wedding dress store. Down here in the Houston area, there are only 4 locations.
Gatorade: is it in you? Apparently not, since it's sitting on the table in there! 😂
Also there use to be a Kmart in Thorndale pa about 40 miles west of Philadelphia and the Kmart in Thorndale is going to become a carpet and flooring store now

The, last time that I ate at Boston Market was in the 1990's. The, food was very good 👍 back then. This, location is located on Gratiot and Metropolitan Parkway, (16 Mile Road)in Clinton Township, Michigan. To, this very day and Boston Market is still open. But, the food isn't good as the food was in the 1990's.
I, still remember when Boston Market was Boston Chicken 🐔, back in the day.
We don't have Boston Market restaurants in Quebec (Canada) but I would try their *Side Item Sampler* and have my choice of three regular home style sides and fresh baked cornbread. Sounds like a quick nice light meal for when you're on the Go! Thanks Wallie!

As I stated in the above post, yes they did! I grew up going to the West Mifflin location quite often as a kid, but again, when they changed over to Boston Market from Boston Chicken that's when it started to go downhill.
I remember going to Boston Market in the 90s...the food was pretty decent actually. I wouldn't say it was the best but it wasn't bad either. However, they closed all of their locations in South Carolina probably in the early 2000s and got the heck out of here lol Weirdly enough they actually didn't do to bad here from what I remember. I believe it was more of a franchisee problem.

Good video! Not sure if there are any Boston Market places around in NY anymore! I remember when they first opened up here in NY, they had a great meatloaf sandwich and the food wasn't too bad.
The quest for food continues for Wallie. I never went to Boston Market. Only 16 locations open in Ohio. It has been long awhile maybe a drive thru skit video sometime soon?

I said this in another post back when I was a kid and it was Boston Chicken the food was really good, but when they changed the name to Boston Market, the quality started to go down hill. They no longer have the chicken sandwiches that I used to get and love.

There used to be one on McKnight Road in Ross Township across from North Hills Village mall and on Route 8 in Allison Park (Hampton Township). I guess nobody wanted to go to Boston Market anymore? I actually liked it. Oh well. :(

The upright debris in the garbage area at 08:04 looks to be where they cut out inside the store at 05:12. I am assuming they cut that counter out to remove equipment out of the kitchen. It would be easier to just cut a path instead of lifting over.

I like Boston Market I find it better than many of the fast food options we have here. Although I respectfully disagree with you that the food isn’t that good. I liked the buffet style options they gave you and it definitely was a lot healthier than many of the fast food places in our area wish they opened one near us

i went there today 2/15/23 it was closed, i knew it wasnt doing to good i think i was there in jan or feb 2022 their hours were 12 noon - 7pm___i got a story about this place___back around 2017ish i went inside to order my food and i had to wait and i started talking too a girl who worked there, she that worked there and lived in washinton, pa ___she drove all the way to cranberry everyday cuz they made her the assistant manager and big raise. But that is crazy like 1 hour drive everyday one direction___the gasoline cost would negate the the pay raise
