Nigeria is such a crime scene and Jude would never go out of stories to tell. I admire your diligence. I only wish the people concerned see your videos
Well done Bella…Two months ago I was on a bike with my friend when we were stopped by some police officers. ‘Who are you?’, they asked me. I told them I was a Corps member. Showed them my ID card. One of the officers asked me what else I did apart from being a Corps member. I told them I created contents on African cultures. That was not convincing enough. He went further to be plain with his question. ‘Are you into Yahoo’. I laughed and said no. But they still took me to their station, where they checked my phone, looking for what they didn’t keep. I was later released without paying a dime. But the point is, why stop a young guy on the road, simply because you think he looks healthy and has an IPhone. Nigeria police system is a mess. And I hope it improves for better.
I think, someone had to make this video. Much more than just a video on RUclips, this should be a revolutional content. My brother and I bought 10 doors worth N460k and then we drove into a police check point. They had us detained just cause we were young guys cruising in a Lexus 350 and had a taxi driver carry 10 American doors for us (the taxi driver was driving behind us). And this happened just last year in 2023, post Covid and post End Sars. After searching through our phones and then they found nothing, they started begging us to give them 5k because there was nothing to hold us to. We didnt consider sueing them cause we could've easily done that.
The "big bosses" of the Nigerian police are not ready to deal with the issue of police brutality in Nigeria. It is bushmalistic, unethical, uncivilized, and shameful. Whenever cases are brought to their awareness, all we see is a dismissal video, and that is it. We don't know what follows. I think it is a shame for a police officer to ask people for money. The federal government needs to upgrade their welfare so that they can stop disgracing them publicly. Police chief, please stop your boys from harrasing us. We are not criminals.
The police oga at the top are unable to act, because they know what the problem is. These police bosses are thieves, often withholding salaries of their officers. So when their officers commit crimes like extortion and even armed robbery, they mostly do so because they’re not paid, not well trained and certainly not well equipped. Instead of holding their oga accountable, the criminal police officers in their hunger m, choose to turn on the weaker citizens. This is of course not an excuse for police to commit crime, but who will prosecute? This is Nigeria, ALL law enforcement is corrupt and in tinubu’s government, criminals are even more emboldened.
We need the police to use body cam and car cam.. it should always be evidence for arrest or case should not hold up. This is the 21century.. I can get body cam form jumia, why is the country unable to get it.
Great job as always Jude. Lovely conclusion to it also, you answered all the questions in my mind that I was going to type in the comment section hahaha. You deserve more and more recognition👍🏾
While the state police bill seems interesting, as far as it involves our current crop of politicians, I fear it would turn out worse than our federal police, just look at how rivers and kogi past governors are acting, imagine if they had their own police force 😣😣
The so called Police who supposed to be incharge of life's and properties of it citizens are the one disgracing themselves in a public and this mess can only happen in Nigeria 🇳🇬... Thank you JB
Great content Bela❤️. These are pressing issues that needs to be addressed. But Nigerian youths today prefer to argue about davido and wizkid. So pathetic 💔
When the state government can't pay the salary, how will they pay this police so we are back to square one. Hungry police extorting the people, which would lead to police brutality
decentralization of any sort is bad in a corrupt and immature system. It would make tracking of inadequacies harder. Nigerian governors shouldn't be given such autonomy. The interpol is effective because it is centralized and effective. Divide and conquer is what put Nigeria in its present state
In 2017 i saw police beat up a lawyer in jikwoyi police station Abuja. The lawyer came to talk about bail of his clients and other legalities. They beat this lawyer well and tore his clothes. I was shocked. I dont know what i want to say but if i insult Nigeria You tube always block me
While state police is a good development, it's not a solution to the problem of abuse of power. We need something like the district attorney system used in countries like the US, an office that can provide checks to the abuses of the police.
I can't entirely blame the Nigerian police for their unprofessional conduct; the mismanagement and corruption within the senior ranks have rendered them ineffective in their duties and pursuit of justice. Many officers are now performing menial tasks for politicians. Furthermore, a lack of emotional intelligence and the impact of poverty diminish their effectiveness. God bless Nigeria.
@@realjudebela We have had these issues for the past 40 years, yet we haven't gotten it right. As they say, a fool at 40 is a fool forever, if we haven't fixed issues such as these by now, I doubt we would ever fix them.
In the US, you could get stopped buy a White Police Officer and be murdered under the guise of self defense, fear or mistake just for being Black, and it's implicitly legal as long as they claim or do it under the guise of self defense, fear or mistake. In Nigeria, you could be stopped by the Police and have your phone searched by the Police for being a fraudster, just for being young and ridding a nice car. Having lived in both countries, I wonder if anyone could respond and tell us about currupt policing in your country or the country you live in.
The problem of nigeria is not the constitution or system, but we as Nigerians and our mentality
EFCC deserves a special video too.
Amazing content Brother jude
I second this 👨⚖️
The story of the woman who lost her husband is painful. NIGERIA is Pain
It's worse when you consider that the man was a senior officer with Cilvil defense.
I like your effrontary touching the seemingly "untouchable" issues. If you live in NG, please stay safe out there. And if not, great!
Thank you 🙏.
May God preserve your life 🙏 I pray.
Jude NEVER FAILS
🙏
Many thanks for the great tasks brother ❤️💙❤️🚀🙏🏾

In India cops fear LAWYEARS & POLITITIANS - memebrs of national or local parliament like HELL . But normal citizens are at the receaving end.
Man you remain genius in documentaries i love your work man

A typical Nigerian police operation. I'm sorry you had to go through that.
@@realjudebela Thanks 🙏 We hoping for a change.
Does the police have the right to seach your phone without a warrant?
This is very painful 😣

The police man has no juridical authorization to check peopkes laptops and phones. That is criminal.
A police with gun in Nigeria believes he/she has right to do any and everything 😢

Yes. If you do not have a body cam on. Dont arrest!. So clarity is clear. Any case/arrest without a video footage is considered void.
Yes it can. Makes them closer to the people.
The APO 6 case is another tragic event in the history of Nigeria.
When will Nigeria mature enough to have state police?
Great job as always Jude. Lovely conclusion to it also, you answered all the questions in my mind that I was going to type in the comment section hahaha. You deserve more and more recognition👍🏾
This guy needs to be protected at all cost

😂😂😂 i love the thumbnail lol 😂 you also picked the right topic ❤
Glad you liked it!!
I have experience police brutality and I know how it is still traumatized me till today I will not even wish that for my enemy
Please a research on police accusing youth of cultism, as that is the new trend, I was personally a victim of this for refusing to give them money
Mind to share? You can use my linked email on the channel.

It is a monumental disaster.

State police will help to minimize serious problems with our police brutality.

Thank you so much for your support.
A good one brother
Jude Bella, you are so good. As usual, thanks for the excellent revelations.

When the state government can't pay the salary, how will they pay this police so we are back to square one. Hungry police extorting the people, which would lead to police brutality

Awesome breakdown Jude

Can you believe my mom died because of money I can afford ? What a waste I’m 32
