I have always seen homelessness and poverty as the powerful telling me that if I don't work hard enough, if I don't butter them up hard enough, if I don't struggle hard enough; i will end up in the streets.
My dad is a huge capitalist, someone who values the market system but he will tell me that this things he earned was in replacement of his health. He longs for the day he will retire then rest; but that day cannot come because there's always an increase in prices , inflation and low income brackets.
" Work smart not hard , people will take advantage of it" he rang in my ears everyday.
The country have to be poor in order for the politicians to enjoy the money. You will rather work as a slave knowing that at least you have #10,000 than be a victim of the ageberos slapping you because you're in their tuff

      @littlesunshine4591 6 месяцев назад

@@samuelnonso1849 Been aware of the matrix is enough for you to get out of it. I was once an ignorant Nigerian, the moment I was aware , I woke up .
I couldn't do anything big or groundbreaking about it , the world is still cruel like before but it couldn't operate on my ignorance again.
I won't fall victim to the #10,000 ; I know how you want me to behave, but I won't do it because I can. I will ask for a better deal because I can and because you need me. You said I can be replaced? So does the company or politicians, they don't own me. You want me to bow in order to gain 1 million? I won't, if I have to live a minimalist life in order not to turn into a turtle so be it ; the hand that feeds me now can starve me. You want me to butter you up ? No I won't, I never had a great mouth anyway.
But the homeless people on the streets, do you want to join them?
I won't, because you need me. You need someone to do the work and if you don't want me , I will find someone else better than you. I will find a country better than you , I will find a company better than you.
It's what I have learned being in this matrix; the moment the veil is off , it can't put a stick before me and call it a carrot because I am aware it's a stick

@@samuelnonso1849But empowering and supporting patriots who will put us and our needs first as a people to get into power. Only with true power being wielded like a force of nature for the common good can the people be free from the matrix. We live a hellish existence designed for our kind to keep our race exploited by a diabolically evil race that destroyed our way of life, colonised us and enslaved us so their offsprings can enslave ours forever. We need freedom to escape the matrix and we need leaders who will champion our course to the death of the need arises. Only absolute freedom over our land and natural resources can free us from the matrix and our 1% and that of the enemy must be taking away from the control of our resources so its distributed equally.

Absolutely right. Poverty is a trillion dollar business. I've been saying it for years. When you are in poverty, religious institutions make money selling you hope, political leaders mean money selling you hope, weapon sells increase, big pharma can test more drugs when insurance is out of the picture, banks make money on foreign aid and natural resources, trafficking increases, etc.

People leave their villages to come to Lagos , Kaduna and Maiduguri to join the police with the believe that they'll make it with collecting bribe. Awesome video, Mr. Jude!
In my opinion, the citizens have to help themselves because either politicians don't seem to care or they are overwhelmed.
You are a bright mind. If you have a connection to those who can speak Hausa fluently (I don't know if you can), you can start an NGO that strives to discourage Nigerians from the North from "breeding" children they cannot cater for. Nation-building is a collective responsibility.
In 2015, I worked in a small company in Lagos and our security guard from Maiduguri who earned 25k at the time told me he had two wives and 7 children in Maiduguri. What's a man who earns 25k doing with two wives and 7 children? We cannot keep recycling poverty in Nigeria.

Examining the north as a specific example is valid, yet it's crucial to recognize that the challenges facing the north are reflective of broader issues across Nigeria. It pains me internally to witness this reality. Having resided in both Lagos and Abuja, I can attest that these urban centers lag behind other international locales where I've lived. Poverty seems entrenched, almost institutionalized, suggesting a systemic malaise. The roots of this problem delve deep, intertwining with factors like inadequate education and the pervasive influence of religion.

This is what Peter Obi is saying that the northern has mass land but can't provide food for its country, and there is No investment from the most rich elite in the northern region.

The business of poverty works well in a place like Nigeria, with below-average to non-existent infrastructure, poor folks can sometimes be at the mercy of the well to do like the politicians... At least in a place like US, poor folks can get free shelter and free food and there are programs that can help to get folks "back on their feet"

Another thing I have noticed is that even some of those who earn legitimate incomes who are doing well still act subservient around political office holders. Its something i am still trying hard to understand

When I was much younger I read this quote from Ali (RA).
He said if poverty where a man he would have killed him.
Poverty is as old as mankind...
