The fun part about dissidia is that the protagonist team is helping each other out while the villain team is stabbing each other because they have their own grand ambition to fullfil.

A remaster is more of a good idea in fact. Can't trust a remake after the catastrophe that was Dissidia NT. Then again, this game is a jewel and it'll always exist, despite anything
Personally I like that hes less expressive. He was always pretty closed off in the original game and in KH so it really felt in character but as far as I can see in the remake hes a lot more ... three dimensional? He has more complex emotions hes also willing to show I mean lol
@@Kligor2 this is a fair point but also i meant more like cloud isn't constantly monotone anymore in the sense like it sounds like his old VA is struggling to keep in character. his old VA shined the best in the advent children movies as he was also significantly less monotone. cloud may be very closed off but i think it's way more of an improvement for cloud to have varying tones in his voice again finally while still being quite closed off, especially when he's vocalising to put more force into his sword swings. his old VA always seemed to feel almost half-hearted in those vocalisations. in remake it genuinely feels like he's putting force into swinging that oversized boxcutter they call a buster sword for once HAHA

I remember back when 012 Kuja won me over with this one cutscene. Much preferred over his temperament in the original campaign.
With all the ports and remakes out there, why didn't this game get the same treatment?
I love that it's likely the memory of Zidane being there for Kuja near the end that he holds to.
wow i forgot just how better remake cloud's voice is at... actually showing emotion. hearing his old voice now is so jarring.
I thought the same with Tifa was well. I’m remember both being better but the new VA sounds much better.

It was, in the reports you can unlock that would also trigger some scenes or even battles and whatnot from the 12th cycle or earlier.
