Polyphia is CHANGING the music game, and this album is going to be incredible
Seriously didn't realize it until they started blowing up. They've been on my playlists for years as a "great unknown band" - but then the SUDDEN speed that they've been blowing up, it dawned on me like.... "Wait a minute, this might be one of the really biggest bands of the generation."

Same here, i don't often see people feel the music in the same way. Polyphia gives me chills every time.
I just realized that part of why Polyphia appeals to me is that the complexity and resonance help quiet my brain. When I was a kid I would listen to industrial noise to fall asleep. (Yay for Visual Snow Syndrome with Tinnitus as comorbidity [only hear the roaring in my ears when it's quiet, and I have no hearing loss.]) Also the more tired I get, the faster my thoughts get...

So glad to see people find polyphia for the first time! ❤ they are straight up elevating music. Everything off this new album is great and their past few albums have some absolutely amazing compositions as well. 40oz will make you laugh, goose will make you dance, OD will make you think, and ego death will make you feel everything!
Been loving their music since my roommate showed me GOAT by them... it is an experience.
I wish I could go back to the day that I first listened to the song. I was a Polyphia fan even before, but this just changed everything. (But it's just a beginning though) Great reaction & subbed!

Thanks to Jared Dines for the solos collab vid I discovered Tim Henson. He stood out so much I HAD to listen to his stuff and ohhh boyyy what I found.
GOAT was the first song I listened and my jaw dropped to the ground for like half an hour before I could barely grasp wtf was going on.

AYOOO!! That Rustie - After Light intro tho! It's been ages since I heard that song, but it remains one of my favorites. I subbed the instant I heard that lol.
When I first heard Polyphia, I found the playing so stunning that it took me back to when I was ~10 and I heard Eruption for the first time, and ~5 years later when I first heard Yngwie Malmsteen. I think Tim is already affecting the new generation of guitar players. Exciting to watch, for sure.
As someone who gives guitar lessons, I can't tell you how Many kids just want to learn polyphia riffs. This band is doing so much for musicians.

You should really check out Nightwish. They are a symphonic metal band from Finland (Floor Jansen, the present lead singer is Dutch however). The typical starting point for reactors is their video for Ghost Love Score live from Wacken 2013. Enjoy that massive rabbit hole that is Nightwish. 👍

If this is your first time hearing Polyphia, you’ve got a lot of catching up to do! Yes their upcoming new album and what they are doing for the music community is absolutely insane. It’s putting music back into the music industry and for the first time in a long time instrumentals are hitting the main stream and taking off like a rocket into space. Check out the entire album of “New Levels, New Devils”. Personal favorites are songs like GOAT, Saucy, Goose, OD, Ego Death, Playing God (all of which I believe have music videos so go enjoy them). They are incredible, so much so that one of the best guitarists in history (Steve Vai) is actually playing with them on Ego Death. Check it out and enjoy!

There is no music video to it but listen to the song Bittersweet from the Renaissance album. Ego Death is the first song to bring tears to my eyes like Bittersweet did.
