  • Dear friends
For this episode I’m just featuring one restaurant, this is no ordinary restaurant cos they served dumplings 365 days in a year. Apparently some 3 years ago when I was featuring HK Porky Noodle House, the owner Marcus was kind enough to treat me 2 dumplings as I was leaving. I actually thought they make their own dumplings, instead he told me that he’s just retailing them for his Auntie’s dumpling restaurant. I went home and found the dumplings absolutely fantastic. Little did I know the restaurant we’re featuring today happened to be the makers of these great dumplings. Of course I found out 3 years later, however it’s still worthwhile since this restaurant is something else. In 2 day’s time, Danny and I are moving to the north to make videos, hopefully we can come back with some good features. Bye, and see you in the next video.

A timely and great dining featuring dumplings and good tasty Hakka dishes. Yes - everyone will have their favorite type of dumplings and this episode features a variety of dumplings that will surely fit someone’s palate. Yatt Lau 👌🏽 Mou Tak Deng 👌🏽. I have yet eaten a 2kg dumpling ( with every ingredient included ) but it sure looks ( and I’m sure it tastes) super delicious too.
Very authentic Hakka dishes and the ‘Looi Char ‘ makes me mouth watering good !!!! 🤤
Thank you to Elmo for this timely and memorable dumpling festival and not forgetting Danny too - very good recommendation to these places of mouth watering interest.

I have to go there ASAP. Elmo, thank you for the recommendation. Dumplings are my favourite food too. I only hate alkaline dumplings, I would avoid it at all costs. I do not know there are so many versions, I just whack what is good for me. The main ingredients must have fat pork in it.

I went there a few days ago. Ordered Golden dumplings + Cantonese dumplings + Jasmine tea. Total damage is RM37.80 nett. I prefer the Cantonese over Golden, even Golden is much more higher priced. Cantonese tasted more like home made. I noticed the broth pan mee seems to be popular. The gigantic dumpling cost RM488.

But the Korean had claimed Duanwu festival (dragon boat festival) as it's cultural heritage from the Han Chinese, so as Qu Yuan their peer. Anyway, be it Chinese or Korean, I love rice dumplings, particularly the salted meat dumpling with a bit of fatty pork! A healthy Dragon boat festival to everyone!
