see this is what im talking about..... sharing info on how to fix stuff no matter what " it " is. like you said hopefully they will see this and " learn ". we will all benefit from this... thank you!!
Thank for sorting this out for me Jimmy. Also appreciate you taking the time to show and explain how I can solve it myself next time it happens 👍 Who does that these days … Top man 👍
Hi after seen your other videos on the same problem I checked mine it's a good job mine was virtually blocked just caught it on time it's a must to check even every thing is fine and do a clean every so often saves alot of trouble....thanks again for great videos
Steer clear of the 1.6. I own a 2008 2.0 cdti it's now got 250,000 miles on the clock, full service every year, use quality diesel, sealed the scuttle panel, chain and auxiliary belt changed at 191,000 miles. Runs sweet. Great videos though, I always watch your new ones and not just the VPT.
I use welding wire but not as good as your setup. Yep very common and thanks to your videos it's getting more and more familiar. It's only easy if you know. The single turbos ain't so bad to do. The bi turbo pipes are are a bit more fiddly. Strange how the 1.5 K9K engines don't seem too bad for these pipes. Only the split differential pressure pipe!. Nice video
It might seem like repeating the same video to you - BUT it is good to see which vehicles / makes are having problems - I was interested to see that the vauxhall has a different engine to the Peugeots / Citroen - THANK YOU For posting
The more I watch u the more I think mechs have no idea how diesel really works... Just solved myself underlying problems with my dpf regen and dpf pressure sensor. Seems that dpf rgen is effect of one from many possible faults. Still have small problem with vibrating engine in 2...2.2k revs, but at least my insignia easily revs up to 4.5 k
I Had I NISSAN xtrail t32 same with that pipe on video blocked , nightmare to take off so Had to use bike cable on drill but did not work at first so I put cleaner down the pipe for 24 hours then the bike cable worked also cleaned EGR
How far should the cable go in. The tube itself is only about 8-10 inches. Then it gets to a joint and surely your not getting the cable down that aswell.

Hi there, i've a 2015 transit 2.2l and it says check engine. obd scan gives P2BAC nox exceedance egr deactive error. i wanna check nox sensor, checked exhaust line but couldnt see nothing but three temperature sensor (with green, blue and black cable). what can cause p2bac and where is exactly the nox sensor, thanks for informative videos.
Hi mate I’m getting df301 on code reader and also check injection and check de pollution …. There’s an hissing coming I think from back of top of the engine when I rev it or accelerate?? Have you any ideas pls as I’m trying to fix this myself as I do y have time to take it off the road ….
Can you please do a video on the exact size length of metal that you use and how you connect it to the drill and all tips And ticks to do and avoid. Maybe ( how to unblock DPF pressure pipe for less than £1 ) we just need to find a way to get a bit of cable for £1 or less lol.
ahhh he uses a guitar string and attached it to the Chuck and snakes it down the DPF pipe and spins the string which lashes at the chalked soot . I have a 5 piece string got delivered today from thinest to thickest after viewing the video's.. Idont have a DPF equipped car so made a friend who has one so waiting it out for him to get into issues (he does only city drives)
I have 2011 citroen picasso 1.6 hdi. I'm at my wit end with it as i just replaced the 4th injector in 11 months ownership as i keeps blowing them up. Tried few mechanics to no avail as they just replaced the faulty injector and tell me it's fixed. Now I'm driving it to work and I'm paranoid of another injector to replace. I honestly don't know what to do ? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. I live in remote village in west of Ireland and I'm not confident of the car driving up to you otherwise I would have booked in with you long time ago 😢
I also have 2011 1.6 Picasso.. I have replaced injectors no.1 & 3 twice. I have done 180000 miles from new and serviced it every year myself. My issues started at 150000 miles, not sure 100% but for what its worth..1. Make sure the plastic undertray beneath engine is fitted, 2. Check fusebox beside battery is dry, if not gently dry with hairdryer and clear of all cobwebs & general dirt. 3. Remove air filter box and check for damaged/chafed injector loom wires rubbing 4. Use shell v-power diesel fairly often. I have had no problems for a year or so now, those Siemens Vdo Continental Piezo injectors are prone to failing electronically. Finally if you ever see the DPF blocking warning message, chuck in a Redex DPF Cleaner bottle, the message will stay away for at least 3 months, and just do it again when it reappears (has worked for me for the last 2 years), good luck.

You're NOT yapping Jimmy, that's knowledge you're spouting and thank you very much indeed!

I like these vids you never know when a little bit of information like this comes in handy in the future

He is so adorable when he talks about all the other brilliant mechanics!
Keep the videos coming i could watch and listen to you yapping all day what an education we all get😂
Just want to say thank you for making these videos Jimmy, I don't own a van but I usually find it something I didn't know and it's interesting.
Dude , this video just saved me from a grand dpf replacement.
Instant subscription.
Thank you man.
Good man yap on good comprehensive and fluff free vid thanks
Have got one in with exactly same problem , will have a butchers in the morning cheers 👍
Had this on my 1.5 DCI Renault Captur last year, cleaned the pipe and it solved the issue!
Great straight to the point video, love it👍. How many videos do you get where there is a stupidly long preamble before they get to the point?
As per usual, top-notch information shared 👍
What a gentleman.
I havent seen this fault yet. but thanks jimmy. Noted. 🧐👊
I work on a few of these engines and not come across this issue. I'm sure I will tho.
Top man for sharing the knowledge mate 👍
A driver travels 41/2 hours because of the grey matter between your 2 ears. All the scanners in the world is useless if there is no interpretation.
I used the inside of an old speedometer cable. It's metal and has a square end on it.
EVERY DAYS A LEARING DAY WITH O'RILEY 👍🔥🚗

same length as the hose you need to clean, mate

Great job 👏
I have the 2ltr engine with the same problem but my mechanic says I don't have 1 of them pipes in my van 🤷
How did the problem show ? No acceleration, limp mode symptoms or what?
How often should you clean this out?
I have 2011 citroen picasso 1.6 hdi.

I'm waiting to see his reply too because I have same issue. I hope he does reply 🤞🤞🤞

Well done Mr 😎
Brilliant new sub and well presented videos top man thank you
Thanks for the sub!
How far in should the cable go?
The crucial question is WHY arnt all mechanics able to fix vehicles like you can??
Anybody in Manchester area able to clean pipe like Jimmy does?
Nice vid
Where abouts are you based
I'll say it there are a lot of chancers out there 🤣
This is that’s wrong with mine
There a bad van to buy😮
Found Renault Trafic to be more reliable than Transits and Boxers. Ford's reliability has gone to hell in a handcart.
These bloody DPF filters are a nightmare all these problems over a filter absolutely ridiculous
