Yes!! Bingo! Well done. The force required to overcome the friction induced by the growth of the injector down the bore of the head is insane. I've diagnosed a few of these vans as needing an injector swapping but have totally avoided getting involved in taking them out for this very reason. You didn't quit or give up, what a guy!
Cheers mate, yer there ok when they work, but this type injector would just not come out, the other type I've got 5 out in my other videos, Glad you liked it 👍 thanks for watching and subscribing

@denisohbrien I was running out of options, on these just welded in with rust, dreading doing the other 3 lol Not bad 250, if it just one needs sorting
Well done! I have a very nice jig and a mag drill for these! Works nicely. 😂 the problem with that sort of force is the head is softer than the injector so the risk is breaking that first.
It just mad. Don't think my weld would hold you at 40tons. I love to fit a gauge to see what pressure it all taking. I still have 3 more to go as well 👍
Persistence always pays. Good man, yourself. I've been enjoying watching your videos. My renault trafic van, no.4 injector seized up a while back. A set of new injectors and having them pulled set me back £1100 🙄. This was 6 months after having an engine fitted. A stretched timing chain can be costly...
Why did your timing chain stretch, did you change your engine oil and filter every 5000 miles or did you go for a lot longer and do you use genuine fuel filters
Yer I hope the other 3 come out the same way fingers crossed 🤞 it just rust it unbelievable how these are stuck in like this Thanks for watching and subscribing 👍
Nice one. Love the home made platform for the jacks, that looks like the effort to build the tool will pay off nicely 👌 I love it when a plan comes together! ❤😂
I think his engine is in a really bad state to be fair , water has been dripping down onto the injector for years, if had the right tools from pincher I think it could be done with engine in the van, but there tools are 3,500 pounds Get a pro if they need doing 👍
Have done primastar injector best to get engine really hot then soak with plenty maintenance spray also try and turn both ways with long spanner to get loose then use a bar to lever out.
reminds me of a Dephi injector that refused to come out and eventually left the injector nozzle body behind, welded in by burnt diesel that glued in in tight.Took me 4 months to get it all out.Was quoted $5k to remove head and machine it out. All initiated by a crack in the injector that was releasing fuel pressure.
1st time watching ur vids this is the 1st 1. Iv always been lucky with my diesel as the injectors came out pretty easy.. i do unfortunately deal with alot of rusty bolts siezed into alloy though moto x shock bolts etc that go streight through a swingarm usually never touched or maintained in the last 10-15yr i find wurth inject crack does a really good job along with some some heat.. if you habe the luxury of time you could spray a penetrant leave it to soak a day or 2 then apply heat.
🤣 cheers mate, can't believe how hard these are to come out, what rubbish design these 2.0 are, most car or van they just need a bit for a pull, these need 1000 tons on force 🤦♂️🙄🤣👍
