I see you have the 115 engine there. Do you know what the difference in hardware between the 115 and the ecotec 90hp version? Also how easy is it to lift the power from 90 - 115 or would you not recommended it? Thanks keep up with the videos 👍🏼
Sorry mate, I just saw your message,🤦♂️ I'm not sure it could be the ECU map it is just a standard ECU, so maybe like other vehicles, the ECU has a different chip in it, mapping, if done correctly, can't help on horsepower and increase fuel efficiency. Some mapping companies £150 to £500 rolling road Have you seen my video where my silver van goes on a rolling road you could also get a home tune as well, maybe cheaper as well , I would go with someone who could recommend a good tuner who's worked on these vans Thanks for your support 👍👍

I had to change the speedometer after somone but black tape over all the warning lights so I tryed to take the tape off behind the background but I moved the speedo needle an it lost positioning and wouldn't calibrate properly, nightmare to find somone to change the Eprom for the mileage 🤦🏻♂️
Tape on the lights seen that afew time or marker pen, I guess if you van nice then millage need to right, I think I've just wiped 70k of this even tho it look like it done 250k 🤣 I hope the clock works. I really thought all clocks were the same
@@ON-THE-DRIVEWAY can't really believe somone would go to effort of doing it, just a dirty selling tactic. That's not bad 😂 I just didn't want mileage wrong as it looks abit wrong on MOT unless you get a cheeky guy to mot it, I made sure all the codes on back was same as original and worked a treat
Any idvuce would be great fully recieved I’ve 2009 no strat solid immo light on will crank ok I’ve no power coming to glow plugs tested at relay socket I’ve no glow plug light on instrument cluster aswell as no service light had key checked bcm ecu everything else seems ok just not letting immo off the glow plug relay proper loose tryed pushing connections back abit still sloppiness tryed new relay from working van I’m proper scratching my head pal can you shed any light on this subject many thanks Paul from Grimsby
The bcm not talking to the key, have swapped the bcm like for like? It must have the same numbers on it Have you tried leaving the battery off for 15 minutes and then powering back up? Has been sat a while with a flat battery? That can cause ecu and bcm faults If it's a 2.0, you're best getting a full new set of ecu, bcm, key, clocks, that match up from a scrapper
My van has lights flashing because of the blue wiring block under the coolant expansion tank. The connections go green. It caused my engine to not rev and dash lights flashing..
@NarrowboatWill Is yours a 1.9? The 2.0 doesn't a blue plug as such. There is one that does the loom to the engine , but it is down near the ( near side light) on muti plug, The blue plug is often cut out and hard wired back up to stop getting shorts in the loom 👍
@tinker-time it said the egr valve and the throttle body on the foot pedal. I've changed those and it's still there. I had to pay for the scan..I think it's a bad earth or something because when I pulled the wires on the blue block, the engine revved up etc. I've got rid of the block and cleaned all the connectors and re connected them. Perhaps I need to hard wire like you say..
There wasn't many more lights to pop up, think stop lights and abs were the only 2 missing, is difficult because some class the dashboard just an instrument panel , i found naming the video with a title cos most people put dashboard part of the clocks but I know what you mean 🤣🤣🤣 The Dash is in the back of the van 👍🤦♂️🤣
I've not tried to do one yet. On these vans, there are some good lads out there that do them tho, on the forum, there are some good recommendations. Are you on the tvp Facebook group? Just depends where you are aswell
@bryanomalley-o2k Have you had up on Jack's? ( on the sub frame, tho) To take the weight of the wheels and check the c.v joints and shafts, for wear, And check bushes in bottom arms,

@tinker-time Mines a primastar, 1.9 and I've taken the blue plug casing off. I can't get rid of my engine management light. 😩

Disconnect the battery for 5 minutes then it will work
