Life is incredibly valuable but in terms of numbers, 13 car accidents a minute in USA and these few street racers are an insignificant amount of those, most caused by dickheads on their phones or drugged out. a car you can handle and control, you can cut up in any car there is except older ones cause of suspension. if you're asking that question, i think you should just focus on one step at a time and not try to start cutting up yet. know your limits and comfortability with traffic and reading traffic. they buy cars for straight line speed, so they get V8's, Turbos and pretty much the sterotypical sports cars and then a dashcam and follow each other, its not much to it. I was cutting up with a M2 in a Veloster for 3 cities and we were both 90mph-145mph half the way.
