At least Japanese Honey bees have a defense: They lure the hornet into their hive, wait until she's done spreading her pheromone, and just as she's about to leave, they all pile on the hornet at once, and vibrate so quickly that the temprature raises drastically, literally cooking the hornet alive!
Scientists were able to establish psychic communication with these wasps. The heard only one phrase echoed over and over again: "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE! LET THE GALAXY BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURN"
If anyone wants to know, these are the Japanese Giant Hornets AKA Suzumebachi ... They are the biggest Hornets/Bees type of insect in the world and the deadliest out of all the races... they are really aggressive and deadly.. one Suzumebachi is about 2 inches big ( size of your thumb ) which is 5 times the size of a Honey Bee and they fly at about 25mph which is almost impossible to out run so if you live in japan and see one, the best thing to do is to just run for your life lol
I'm surprised there hasn't been any mainstream capitalizing on the concept for horror involving these gals (the hornets). Maybe Hollywood does have a little more respect left in it than we thought? Nah...
I saw one for the first time last year. It was about 12 to 15 times larger than a regular yellow jacket. I could not believe what I saw. It is true they are about the size of your thumb and frightening looking. I live in Pa. next to the woods .
Army ants have numbers and Giant Hornets use size and weapons but it is very close to predict who will win. Also, Hornets have big jaws while Army ants have small jaws.
Asian Giant Hornets (vespa mandarinia) live in E/SE Asia and are particularly prominent in Japan, which is likely where this video was filmed. Many people claim to have seen them elsewhere, especially in Europe and North America, but this is because the European Hornet (vespa crabo) is similar in appearence, though smaller and far less aggressive (and toxic for that matter). If you live west of India, you're safe from Asian Giants.
Asian giant hornets (the stormtroopers of the insect world). The hornets are the clones and the bees are the Jedi. Not even the grubblings survived :,(
I remember hearing about the Asian hornet for the first time. From what I heard, one sting can make a person go into anaphylactic shock. Plus their 2in and their stingers are huge. I know they aren't, but for some reason I think these badasses were made (scientifically.)
the hornet itself is 2 inches long. one sting can kill you, because its venom dissolves skin and gets into your blood, making you fatally sick and you ill soon die if you don't get medical attention.
Kyle Lucas That's messed up right there. I feel deeply sorry and have remorse for the people who live around these things. I minus well call myself a dead man walking if I see on em myself.
Mind you, all animals are part of the food chain. If there are no wolves, rabbits flourish and eat everything. If there are no hornets, the bees flourish and cause problems as well.
From wikipedia: Their diet consists of a wide range of insects, including crop pests, and for this reason the hornets are regarded as beneficial. They are freaking terrifying though.
Contrary to popular belief, animals aren't here benefit humanity. People are one of the millions, possibly billions of species here on earth, animals adapted to the best way to survive and thrive, not the best way to help humanity's growth and prosperity. As you stated above, Hornets kill other species of insects, making them essential to life. Have you ever seen the damage evasive species can cause? It can be catastrophic. P.S: Pollination is for reproduction, not growth.
Lane Walls Thank u, it annoys me when people type comments saying: What is the point of these things existing? These things dont benefit the world so they should be wiped out etc. I always try to to tell people, an animals purpose is to live/survive and continue its species.
Fast forward to 2020 - they have discovered the New World. I saw a video of one of these hornets attack a mouse and it's almost as big as the mouse itself and it was gruesome! Needless to say, mouse was a goner. Apparently a praying mantis is an arch nemesis for a hornet, and they have appetite for the hornet's head.
We have these beast at our farm!! My son was stung & he did say it felt like a hot nail gun going into his leg!! They r about 2 inches long. Got one in my kitchen before i went to work one morning!! Needless to say, i broke a light fixture & a broom trying to kill it!! Poor honeybees!!
And I thought honey bees were terrifying - now that I see these, terrifying evil things I don't mind having them around me, honey bees don't bother you unless they're bothered.
Soooo this is why we were finding dead bees everywhere a few years back?! lol but seriously....I've never felt bad for bees until now =( poor little things
The Vespa Venomistica, "Hornet Snake" is a rare reptile with orange and black stripes. And even though it doesn't have wings, legs or a stinger, it can still use its fangs to inject venom into its victim, considering the comparison of it to the Asian Giant Hornet, located in the Fuji mountains of Japan.
this is why i might think of getting a hive of japanese honey bees. they're the only species of bee's that can defend against the suzumi bachi, by sacrificing a few bees, the japanese honey bee can ward off the suzumi bachi by allowing it to come in their home, gang up on it, vibrate to the point of raising the temperature and killing the hornet
I wish there was a kind of bee that looks kinda like an hornet, but isnt. Its actually bigger than an giant hornet and is stronger than a hornet, it would stick repeatedly 4x times faster than a hornet sting, its sting would feel like a knife with fire is being stabbed into your arm, the bee would have a spear on its mouth, and use it to chop the hornets head off, but their larvae can even defend themselves against hornets, they would have way stronger armour than the hornet has, and it attacks hornets nests, and makes delicious honey with its second spear..
much respect to the cameraman who filmed the whole thing, i dont got balls the size of jupiter

Scientists were able to establish psychic communication with these wasps.
The heard only one phrase echoed over and over again:

Is that true or are you making it up????
You know I swear RUclips's Algorithm has a sick sense of Hurmor

It's like a horror film for bees.
I'm surprised there hasn't been any mainstream capitalizing on the concept for horror involving these gals (the hornets). Maybe Hollywood does have a little more respect left in it than we thought? Nah...
Back in the 1990s I used to study bees hornets and wasps but I never knew anything about this creature
That moment when you're watching the video and you get a tingle somewhere and you freak out thinking one of these is gonna kill you...yea...
0:36 Hornet: Hello there.

DAMN NATURE, YOU SCARY!!!!
Jacob is MY name
Actually I believe that's my line
Army Ants vs Asian Giant Hornets in bug wars.
Salvador Gomez I think Asian Hornets win
Army ants have numbers and Giant Hornets use size and weapons but it is very close to predict who will win. Also, Hornets have big jaws while Army ants have small jaws.
Lol. Army ants would absolutely destroy the Hornets. No match.

For the first time in my life I really feel very sad and sorry for the bees :(

violetstorm117 they have been spotted in the U.S.
Kyle Lucas I know, but they never disclosed the location. The U.S is screwed.
violetstorm117 it was illinois.
You know one of those Bee's were like " MY LEG!!!!!"
I second that notion.
They had a "This is Sparta" moment
Damn nature, you scary!
"The Hive Cluster is under attack!"

its like a bunch of zerg ultralisks vs zerglings
Still looking for the giant whatever that flew close by, the size of a cigar...terrifying
Did you you know?: Only female Asian Giant Hornets sting.
Mind you, all animals are part of the food chain. If there are no wolves, rabbits flourish and eat everything. If there are no hornets, the bees flourish and cause problems as well.
Honey!!! Where are you?! Oh, NEVERMIND!!!!
my beez travel like a vortex, from your spine to the top of your cerebral cortex! lol

i felt a hot nail going into my skin while watching this and i was like oh f*ck so i touched it and it was just my body XD
Jordan’s videos brought me here 🐝

So I Can Make Sure I NEVER Go There XD

@@kingking9011 but but but there have been videos on praying mantis ending up losing :'(
I feel ya bro...
This problem is easily solved by a screen that allows bees through, but stops hornets.
DOH!
We've got these things at my house. They get into the hummingbird feeder and even chase the birds away! They're devil bugs!
It isn't a battle . . . ITS A MASSACRE lmaoo
Lol, I've been advocating this for years!
Dose anyone know what the music score is during the hornet attack on the beehive?
its like the battle of Helms Deep Bee style
THIS IS SPAAAAAARTAAAAAAA!!!!

Touche.
it was like the opening scene in starship troopers where everyone is ripped apart
2:16: CANNONBALL!!!
Mute the video and play the Armored Titan Theme from Attack on Titan over it! Gets intense man.
i smacked it with my jacket 💀
And I thought honey bees were terrifying - now that I see these, terrifying evil things I don't mind having them around me, honey bees don't bother you unless they're bothered.
Hornets are kind of like magnesium strips, they just keep stinging and burning until they decide to stop themselves.
Soooo this is why we were finding dead bees everywhere a few years back?! lol but seriously....I've never felt bad for bees until now =( poor little things
DAMN NATURE YOU SCARY!
That's life! and all the hornets say....were flying high in april...killing bees in may.
He needs to get his facts straight.
Giant hornets are the stormtroopers of the bug world.
Order 66 insect style
Is anybody else wondering how the hell the video makers manage to capture these incredible shots?
Do you just love bugs insects and animals this is pretty cool
All of a sudden honey bee pulls out a glock ...
this is scary
wait til they come against killer bees!

Somebody call in the killer bees.
im sure they wore protective stuff.
Behold: the Xenomorph of the insect kingdom.
And much like Internecivus Raptus...it must be annihilated.
GO BEES!!!!!!
Actually, they are in north america, I've seen them up close. Only once, and it was about a decade ago, but they do exist.
This is why you shouldn't bully others! One female started this war! "This is the last damn time they call me Fat Martha!" :50
THIS IS MADNESS!! MADNESS!? THIS IS HONEYCOMB!!!
This was actually pretty sad. Did you see when the bee was split in two?
step one: film the action
step two: pour gasouline around the base of that house
step three: light a match and drop it
step four:watch the house burn
2:36. What the narrator said sounded so wrong
humans created hornets by trying to make the honey bee strong. -.- go us!...
because every bee's life mission is to protect the queen, and then the young. The larvae cannot run away so the bee's fight to the death.
No HD? Wtf NatGeo
1:23 holy shhh....

I'm here after watching the news..lol .I'm just curious
Any 1 else feel itchy after watching this?
I keep Bees. and i see that how fucked up that is...... Scary as fuck !!!!
oh that is just creepy!!!
In 2005 I saw these Japanese hornets dying on the ground it was about the size of my big toe it I was extremely confused on how big it got.
2 days ago, 3 were killed by hornets in Bangladesh
Agent Smith is narrating this.
Why is there calm bird noises in the background when all this audio is edited and the video is in slow motion
*Birds happily chirping*
The ground is covered with the bodies of their enemies
WTF
why do i scare myself with these kind of things
poor bees, they didnt stand a chance :c
