Awesome video Marion! So fun to see your excitement about the Stamping Foam. I tested so many different types of foam to get the perfect color and density and am glad you noticed! Hugs🤗 P.S.: for any other viewers in the UK… Art From The Hearts carries the Stamping Foam!
Great video! I don’t believe Simon claimed to invent this tool, just his iteration of it. Love the variety of options of sizes and shapes. And the creative ways to use it seem endless! Lots of fun!! Your cards are lovely btw!! 🧑🏼🎨😀
Hi Mari, I think you’re spot on there, I love the heart and circle, I dropped a hint to him about a tear drop shape, one can only hope 🤣🤣 so glad you like them 🥰🥰🥰
Before cut and dry there was this yellow foam from the original create and craft show, some 16/17 years ago, which did exactly the same thing. I found mine the other day and put it aside to use one day😂
thank you for the side by side. I remember there being aother and Nellie Snellen has Magic foam, it's pink and various shapes, but that wasn't the one we say 8 years ago or 5 -10 I can't remember exactly except I thought : that's not new" when I saw it
I was about to order mine a while ago, when Craftstash got it in. I did not know the Cut and Dry did that too. I am inspired to use mine tomorrow now, thanks, that looks wonderful ❤
Thank you for this experiment. I live in Toronto, Canada and finding the stamping foam is next to impossible but I have 6 packages of Cut n Dry foam. This is very exciting! Just a note... we had stamping foam in blue back in the 90's and it was great fun then too. I'm thrilled to be able to use my packages of Cut n Dry foam. Thank you.
Oh fabulous Jan, I’m so glad you’re going to have a play with your Cut n Dry… have fun !! On another note, there’s a shop called Clipper Street Scrapbook company they are based in Vancouver but I know she ships all over. Her name is Deanna and she’s brilliant. Xxx
Good video. Simon’s foam is fun! I just used it and pressed it into an embossing folder yesterday. Is that Altenew set called mixed Tropical leaves? Thank you.
Fabulous video as always. Appreciate your excitement and energy. Your creative skills and playtime is appreciated. In one of your videos I watched today - not sure if it was this one 😂 you mentioned needing some better to clean your stamps - Gina K Designs in the USA has a Tidy Towel product which is great for cleaning stamps- keep the towel damp- works great. Love the die you used in this video. Since you are in the UK - you might be interested so thought I would share a UK company I I love and continually purchase from---Claritystamp in the UK has fabulous products - amazing stencils, dies, stamps and more- exceptional quality. Fun fact - Barbara Gray - Owner - back in 1993 had the idea of transparent/clear stamps instead of rubber stamps and was the first to make clear stamps. I am grateful that she did as all my stamps are transparent/clear and most are from Claritystamp.. Their stamps, stencils and more are all made in house. I love the many different designs they offer in their product line. I have a large stash of card making supplies and the majority I own are from Claritystamp- their Customer Serive is exceptional.
@@karenmclaughlan9128 hi Karen. You could print without misting with water, but you won’t get much of an impression. You only need a light misting to activate the ink. Unless you want a really watercoloured effect. Each print will give a different effect, but they will all be useful. The final and lightest one will lend itself well to adding other techniques, like overstamping or stencilling.
I love the stamping foam, works great with embossing folders too. I see now it comes in a larger size which is great. I was sent the cut and dry in error and it stunk to high heaven, I threw it in the bin. What was the green cloth you used?
I bought a stamping foam over 7years ago none branded and it's still working perfectly then I noticed everyone was raving about Simon Hurley version as if he invented the idea
Hi Su, I suppose to all new crafters out there it was Simon that introduced it to them. As long as everyone’s happy that’s all that matters. It’s good to know yours has lasted over 7 years 😍😍😍
Yes, Marion... I'm older and hopefully wiser now! LOL 😂😆 So old in fact, that I can't remember actually when I started stamping and doing paper crafting. 😜
@@cindyrogers9099 😂😂 the great thing about getting old, is forgetting what we did do and then doing it all over again and getting excited at something new… 😂😂😂 ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Carol, warning …. Once you get it out and start using it you won’t want to put it down 😂😂😂 The mint tape is from Scrapbook.com , I think I’ve put a link in the description, they’re in the States but their shipping is so reasonable xxx

I love the stamping foam. I find if I use Distress Oxide inks, I can get at least 4 prints from one inking. Just a light spray between impressions.
