I got GREAT results by laying my die on the foam, THEN heat both! I put the heated foam and die on the floor, put a book on top and stood on it for a bit. EXCELLENT impressions!!
Glad I found this video! I had used the foam on a cut glass cake plate my mother used for birthdays (sentimental) and stamped the design on cards. So fun how you used different items, particularly the leaves and lantern and more than one color. I have a silicone cat brush that has nubby diamonds on one side and silicone bristles on the other side which might stamp like dashes. I will try that soon and see what other freebies around the house I can use. SUBSCRIBED.
Thanks! 💕 A heat gun has a very high temperature directed in a small spot. A heat tool is not quite as hot and is directed at a larger area. It kind of looks like a hair dryer. Hope that helps! 🙂
I just bought some of this. I've been playing with it the last week or two to get used to what I can do with it. I really enjoyed seeing your tips for using it. I am impressed with how easy it is to clean between uses.
Do you find yourself using it exclusively, or are there times where you prefer using a hinge-style stamping platform instead? I have the WRMK stamping platform and like it a lot, but I've never used anything else and I'm wondering whether it would make sense to get a hinged stamping platform as well.
I did eventually end up getting a MISTI. I caved to all the pressure, despite my advice. 🤣 I do think the MISTI is more reliable for double stamping and easier to use once you get used to how it works. I still have my other platform stamper, but I haven’t pulled it out in ages.
Woah, wait a minute... stamping foams can be re-used?? Just by applying some heat?? I kind of wondered as there were 4 blocks in the package I think and the title says 5 ways, haha!! But you just use 1 block. That is so cool!!
Such a fun product, and I love your examples! I do wish the stamping foam was also available in a larger size. The small blocks work well for A2 cards, but taping two blocks together for an A7 card isn't ideal.

Good idea! 🙂
Someone came out with this idea about 15 years ago with a blue one. I still have mine!

Wonderful! It's like a fun scavenger hunt trying to find things to use. I even saw Simon Hurley use a sweater!
This product is such a game changer! Love your video. Please tell me the difference between a heat tool and a heat gun.

Yes! It's a really cool product. 🙂
Gotta try this! Just gotta get these stamping foams. Already have the rest of the supplies. I do have a heating gun, so perhaps put it on low speed?
I would put it on low if you have dual speed. 🙂 Have fun!
@@DreamCraftCreate Also wondering if I can use embossing folders on this?
I think so! I have not tried it, but I imagine that would work as well. 🙂
I was just watching Gina K with Simon H using this! Really neat.
It’s really cool stuff. Simon also has a ton of fun videos if you are looking for ideas. 🙂
H what is the tool you use to press down, it looks like a butterfly? Thanks 😀😀
It is from a small business called Stamptabulous. They have a website and I believe they sell on Etsy as well. 🙂
I have the floral butterfly: www.etsy.com/listing/1025709909/
P.s. what snowflake stamps and dies? Thank you.
The set I used was exclusive to a class I attended last year. There is a very similar set available at concordand9th.com/products/snow-flurry. 🙂
Thank you
Super cool, didn’t even know this existed. 😆
It is so cool! You have to try it out. Really inexpensive too, which is awesome. 💕
Just added it to my Christmas list lol 😄
Yaasssss, girl! ❤️

Thank you! ❤️
There are some new sizes. Maybe one would work for you!
I’ve been eyeing the larger sizes too. 😆
Good to know! Thanks so much for maklng me aware of this.☺
Great idea to mask some areas! All your results are fantastic. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you! Glad to hear you were inspired. 💕
Merci pour les explications. Je viens de m'inscrire à votre chaîne.
