I remember mentioning to you about switching the underside sensors off (and you said go for it... good luck mate 😅).. I did (but heck there are ALWAYS dog walkers on the beach, so it's difficult).. Anyway still going to do a very high speed low level with sensors off... And YES the landing with said sensors turned off can be hard.. I remembered at the last 2 seconds to ease off on the left stick..... A Karen vid??.. Looking forward to it, keep well and happy holidays 🎉

Great video Nobby, the updates are amazing, im in the UK too so you are right, we are being battered with storms here, not the ideal weather to fly a drone, but im sure it will get better lol

HI Nobby. I saw this was available earlier today and tried several times, but each time it said you're up to date. Then I started to wonder if I needed to plug into the computer and use DJI Assistant, which I never have any joy with. So while watching your video, I switched on the controller and this time it said there was an update. Taken a while to get it (40mins). Glad I have made a fan cooler to park the drone on while updating. The fan was from a Minolta Slide viewer to cool the projector, but with a plastic stand it cools the drone a treat. Should make a short video of it in action. Best Dave
Shouldn’t need to keep it cool now Dave as they go into eco mode whilst updating. Glad you finally got it sorted 👍

Maybe it's just I did not notice before but, has the 12mp photo now got up to 8 seconds exposure time in this update or was it always like that??
Not all that sure but I thought the longest exposure was 2 seconds 👍
Time 03:58. That's the same as the Mavic 3 Pro got not long ago. I interpret it as: Obstacle avoidence Off. Right or wrong? It allows position changes at very low altitude when landig on a very small surface. Having the artificial shadow precision landings don't need turning off that option. My experience is else that the drone jumps up when I try a horizontal poistion change.
Time 04:53. "Straight crashing down". One better do some practise on a soft, thick, landing pad... Joking!
Time 06:12. Storing screen recordings on the SD card..... That works for the Mini 3 Pro but not for the Mavic 3 Pro forcing me to first copy, then vacuum clean the internal storage..

Hi Stefan. No it’s not the same as turning off OA. It disables the vision sensors underneath. The shadow is only a guide as to where it’s going to land. As for soft landings I usually hand catch and would always recommend turning the vision sensors back on as I said in the video 👍 thanks 🙏
@@nobby-green Thanks. Using the shadow the landing position can be adjusted before the downward sensor engages. Excellent function. Yes, turning back on after odd manouvers saves the pilot from bad future surprices.
Hi Nobby, please could you advise. I am about to order my first drone and have decided on the Mini 4 Pro. My only question is do I get it before the end of the year (without C marking) or in January (with the C Marking) I will only be flying in uk not particularly hilly terrain and I am most keen to comply with legal requirements. If anyone has advice please let me know.
The quickest way is via Amazon. If you’re only flying on the UK then the height restriction will not be affected. You will still have the 500m limit. Personally I would keep the C0 label. You can find it here. amzn.to/3tky81v
