She is facilitating him so well that he is given the chance, for a change, to talk so, and be the honest transparent person he prefers being.
As he says in the interview, if given stick, he gives more stick back.
But she's rather humble, and he's really enjoying a decent and fair interview and talking bout real things.
It's one of the best I've seen.

It was naff woolley headed upper middle class hypocritical that's he hates.
He actually is quoted I a other interview saying "if it weren't for Hawkwind, there might never have been a Sex Pistols" so go figure.
Also, on here there's a video of Steve showing Pistols guitar chords and in a few you're hearing early 70s Hawkwind almost. And Johnny thundersy type things.

no one says that every new form of music that comes into business, every fashion, whether it's punk, rock or anything, always follows the Masonic lobby guidelines, which every year turn out new fashions, new groups, to convince the masses to be against the current system ..... then there are the characters like John Lydon, who probably really believe in their art, but in reality they are doing, consciously or not, what Freemasonry wants: to go against every Christian teaching to keep people away from Jesus ... I remind everyone that the Masons hate Jesus and worship Lucifer ... it seems like a fantasy, but it is reality!

Agree, here is my comment: don't know much about him but the fact he took a swipe at communism and steadfastly defends his freedom of speech makes me love him well enough.
Wow, had to edit to say he is an outright genius and the opposite of what i thought when he says he doesn't like single parent families or same sex not because he is a nazi, but because he realizes this is normal in nature and when nature does not conform to itself something goes wrong or as he says "there is something missing."
Yeah, it's called boys don't know how to be men and girls grow up to be too slutty just to simplify things.
One more thing: there are a lot of people who would believe what he does, however they are boring, staid, stodgy conservative types who one feels were brought up that way from birth - this guy is a free spirited liberal sex drugs rock and roll type who naturally and spontaneously arrived at the same truths as the boring traditional types did. How fascinating!

No Religion should exist, but the teaching of Faith, Equality, Morality, Acceptance, and of course Love Eternal, and as for Johnny, a role model not unlike Jesus who also caused controversy in Religion and preached against it, turning tables over in places of worship and claiming the hypocrisy of it , as not of God the Creator of us, but a false righteousness not having spirit. Like our Famous Brother, Johnny shares his Truth from the Heart and makes no apologies for it and why the hell should he?

That line of "Jesus didn't teach religion" is such a self-serving load of crap. Please stop denying what you're doing and start defending it on its own merits, instead of coming up with these nonsensical distinctions. Jesus was a rabbi of the Jewish faith who taught some not terribly radical ideas. (Everything he taught had been taught before by others, including within the Hebrew religion - look up Hallel, for instance.) He was very MUCH religious - it's even in the bible. He says he's not here to change "one jot or tittle" in the law, meaning he had no interest in changing his faith at all, only in giving people some hope for the future and a better way to see their religion. If you have any respect for the man, don't twist his words to suit your own spiritual whims.

    • @Geckotr

Reiligion is not about joy or love, it's about controlling the masses, to keep the established order and make sure no one rocks the boat. This is why Karl Marx said that religion is the opium of the masses. He's probably one of the first people who stated that fact openly

@@aleksastamenkovic5526 I suppose if I look at it from his side, he was quite often being interviewed by established faces who until then hadn't encountered many if any, people with a deep rooted dislike for pretty much everything. It's likely they pushed buttons to goad a reaction and he delivered. He had nothing to prove, the punk movement didn't care. I never bought into punk wholly but the sound was good, mainly, and it spawned and influenced some excellent bands. I guess Lydon was who he was and to be elevated to a position where your voice and opinions could now be heard by millions was too good an opportunity to throw away. He sounded intelligent enough in those early days to give better answers though, you don't always need to be so anti. Whatever my view, and it's largely unimportant. Punk gave the music industry a kick in the balls as did rock n' roll and each has played a part in music and it's development. I don't think either would have expected the downturn we've endured for the last twenty years though.

WOW! John Lydon went through the same experience I did, Born left Handed, Moved home and only school available was a C of E School, Edge of ruler on my left hand until it was so swollen that I had no choice but to use my right hand, told that I was the spawn of the devil every day, and in front of the whole class. How i fucking hated them, it turned me into an anti authoritarian little shit who hated everybody and everything, and had no respect for anybody or their belongings. Took over 20 yrs to realise just how much I was fucking myself up, and did something about it. I'm 70 now and its still a works in progress.

I've only just seen this interview and what a wonderful example of a human being he is. I first became aware of John as spotty 15 year old in a one industry town in the West of Scotland back in 77 and to think how much both of our lives have changed for the better since then is amazing. Also I just wish I had appreciated his exposure of that monster Jimmy Saville on live TV. Good luck John best wishes to Norah I hope she finds peace.and thanks for all the music down the years.

He always was a decent dude, but the media were always trying to stump him, when someone says anything against the queen, they are usually attacked from all directions, coz the queen is a witch, and a spoilt brat, this interviewer was being respectful, so it made Johnny talk openly without being defensive, thanks for the comment

His autobiography is worth a read. I think he gives some interviewers a hard time because all they ask him about is the Sex Pistols, which was a brief but significant part of his life. This interviewer asked him about other parts of his life and he was very candid.

Even then , John had a wise , almost "joker" like behavior, Steve was essential, Paul was heroic , and Sid was the iconic poster. The band pushed the boundaries and for that , I push it abit too. Anyway, phenomenal burst . If you can read this Get your own podcast up John .

    • @frauleinmona
      @frauleinmona 5 лет назад +2

Well, that's just a ridiculous thing to say. You just, unfortunately, had one lousy, uninspiring teacher that shouldn't have been teaching in the first place. Or became jaded somewhere a long the way and should have retired or found another line of work. But don't put down the rest of the teachers in the world. They are the unsung heros. They teach the future doctors, lawyers, scientists, star athletes, best selling authors and strong world leaders of tomorrow. The list goes on and on.

frauleinmona Fair comment and I’m sorry if I gave the impression I was talking about all teachers. Obviously I wasn’t. Sadly, many of our teachers that year spoke to those of us they thought would move up to the sixth form this way. It was a long time ago and I’d hope todays teachers don’t give this kind of negative advise now. Their personal politics shouldn’t come into their job.
