Hi, I also got 221g adminstrative processing for my H1B, white form. Any idea on next steps..?Your video seems informative.

I got the 221g white slip. VO did not ask for any additional documents but said they will do some more analysis on my case and provide their decision. If it approved I should drop my passport in near by consulate.
Do you have any idea in this case, what they do in administrative process when not asked for any additional documents?

Hello Sir @Shank Kulkarni, we had an interview for F4 immigrant visa and it was denied saying because of the 221g section, and they asked us to have a joint sponsor as the main sponsor is not capable to sponsor us all, so what should be the next procedure to follow as when we checked the sponsor is very capable to sponsor us all, and we have check it through the website of USA travel docs, so we are not able to understand the reason because it was later known to be invalid.

Have a question regarding dropbox one.
My consulate is Chennai, but i am in Bengaluru. If I take an appointment, do i need submit documents in Bengaluru on the appointment date or two days before appointment date so that from Bengaluru it actually reaches actual Chennai consulate .
You must submit on the time and location shown in your appointment confirmation receipt.

Today i heard the news that now appointment waiting time is 500 days, is it possible to get the H1 visa if my USA employer help me to get this in 2023?
It’s not 500 days. If you keep trying then eventually you will get appointment

What if passport has been expired and organisation asking to provide the details for H1-B petition? Can we raise the petition with expired passport ? Though I have applied for renewal .

Mera 12-9-22 ko delhi me B2 visa kE liye interview hua , 221 g rejection hua ,they asked to send DS 5535 which I received through mail same day
On 15 september I send it back to advance processing team . 30th september ko status update hua but matter was same as refused .
On 4th october I received a mail to submit my passport to drop box with mentioning any particular date or time .,
I did it on 11 october .

Hello bro, me and my wife had an us visa interview on 4th august 2022. In Canada after interview he said yes and kept our passport but after 2 hours I receive an email to answer some additional questions and they said in email that my case is under 221g but that email was only for me not my wife. She is main applicant. We gave reply on same day but it’s still showing refused when we chk online and last update is 4th august. What we should do now?

Hi Shank , I had interview on 27th March at Madrid (Spain) my lottery result came when i was in India and then i travel to spain for office work. then i have book the appointment here in spain for stamping. After the appointment on 27th March 23 my visa was approved then after 1 week it went to refused state and they currier my passport back with out stamp and they mailed me that your visa is under administrative processing . We will notify you once we have update on your case. Does anyone has any idea what will be the next state or this visa is denied. if youwent thorough the same case please share the input.

Hello I applied B1/B2 visa and interview went well then VO said I must submit the form back. Kept my passport and give me one green slip 221g. Ok then next day I received via email a form DS-5355. Then very next day they also return my passport via DHL.
I sent back form via email. And now I’m waiting! It’s most frustrating and disturbing situation. I’m very confused what’s going on. Can you give me some details plz. Tnx Suleman

Mine is also similar case. They gave 211g in drop box and interview. I submitted documents and after 3 months they have asked to submit passport i797 and 221g. May i know what it t means please?

My I-797 is approved now. But I need to update spouse name on my passport. Is it ok if I re issue a fresh passport and fill the DS-160 form with new passport details…?
As we all know passport number gets changed whenever we issue a fresh passport.
They will do the stamping on my new passport or not…?

Hi Shank, One question regarding dropbox, while filling DS160 my consulate is Kolkata but dropbox appointment is Chennai. As per new process I am planning to drop my documents in Kolkata VAC. Hope this is not an issue ? My questions is after submitting my document in Kolkata will it go to Chennai consulate for stamping or Kolkata ? What is safer option to drop in Kolkata or Chennai ?
Both is fine. You can drop where you feel convenient
congratulations. i got 221g blueslip on April 29th for fresh H1. Employer sent docs on June 11th. When can I expect some update on my visa status. No change in date in case created so far

My employer filed fresh h1b for 2023 in this march, and petition was filed on 24th June and i got receipt number as well. what will be the next process ? and how long it will take to attend visa interview..!! It is easy to book a slot for visa interview?? What do i need to do. Please enlighten me.

Did you petition get approved yet? Once you get approved petition that is i797 form, then you have to fill up ds-160 form on state dept website and book interview.

Hi Shank - My husband is working in the U.S. (he is an Indian citizen) and he needs to stamp his H1B renewal (this is the 2nd time his H1B is approved) yet. We are looking for ways to get it stamped from Canada. I would highly appreciate it if you could help us with the whole process. Also, if we can opt for visa interview waiver since it is his 2nd time getting the H1B. Thank you.
You can do that but for interview waiver it has to be done in india I guess.

Hi Shank, I watched this entire series of 221g. My husband gave interview on Nov25 and got 221g , docs submitted on Dec2 since then last updated date has been updated twice but after 21 Dec we see no action and it just got stuck there and status shows Refused from day 1. How much time usually it takes to get any response. Thanks for your time in advance
It really depends on each case. For me it took almost 4 months.
@@ShankKulkarni Can a different employer apply for H1b transfer for me. Do we have a timeline before any other employer apply for transfer ? Applying for H1b transfer process looks quicker as compared to wait for 221g response

Hi, i had my visa interview on 2nd June 2023 and the Visa officer said that my visa was approved and i can collect it within one week. But i did not receive any mail regarding collection of my passport. Then i checked on CEAC portal and it showed that my status is refused, its still not changed and in my cgi portal.its showing as " your passport is still with US embassy/consulate". Please help me, is my visa rejected?

@@ShankKulkarni thanks for the reply. I received a mail yesterday saying I have to submit a 221g form, my passport and the copy of the email to the document drop location. But I didn't receive any 221g letter since my visa was approved and my passport was kept by the Visa officer I don't have that either. I'm confused what should I do? 😕

Depends on each case. For me it took around 4 months after first appointment
