Hello, as your current field of education and future field is totally unrelated there might be issues. Before H1B you will need F1 to study MS and they will raise similar questions in that too.
My f1 visa rejected in Oct 2012 as I applied for only one university and during interview when visa officer asked why only this univ? I couldn't convince him. Now I am filling ds 160 as my h1b petition approved. There is a section in ds 160 asking me to explain why my previous visa rejected. Can u pls mention briefly what to write there. When you are on the employers direct payroll it’s not a problem but usually Indians have a way of “jugaad” via desi consultancy where employer employee relationships are ambiguous. Such consultancies need to show a proper relationship like full time employee on payroll with proper client or project allotment.

H1b Visa interviews are waived off till Dec2022, is it valid information? I've got my H1b visa approved 2 days ago. Already in United stated, wanted to come to India for stamping so not sure whether I am eligible for Visa interview waiver.. Another concern is, I have also heard appointment are very hard to get as queue is very long due to limited consulate availability. So, if interview waiver is not there, then I need to plan my India visit as per available appointment date.
Under interview waiver program interviews are waived for eligible candidates and they can go for dropbox. So while scheduling appointment you will get 5 questions which will determine your eligibility for interview waiver.

Hai mam...I got Offer letter from Company and got selected in lottery also and HR told it will take 2 to 3 weeks to submit to USCIS...when I need to resign from my current organization.... whether any chance of rejection
Hello Ashwin, please do not resign now. Let your H1B be approved first. Get your passport stamped and then resign. It's very risky to resign before getting your visa.

@@vishnupriya.c699 When new passport is issued it gets a new passport number. But you will have your old passport also. When you submit passport for visa you have to submit all your passports. New old and everything. Even when your passport expires and you get a new passport you have to submit old and new passport. So basically you need to have all your passports.
If there is lack of documents then high chances of RFE. But if your documentation shows sings of false information there are chances of rejection. Again it depends on the officer who verifies and how he/she interprets.

Even if I do get employed , my salary is not that high. Also we don’t have any assets in home country. What would be your advise should we still take our chances with h1b visa or should we instead go for eb3 visa. What would be your advise. Thanks
I am not the main candidate but my wife is . She is a teacher and has b.ed degree. But still I think my profile will matter and me being unemployed may cause rejection
@@2250056 Is it H1b? If yes then your profile doesn't matter! Spouse of H1b goes to US on H4 and is not allowed to work without EAD. So its fine if you quit you job and are unemployed. Thats common for H4

Take a manager letter! That can be given by the manager. He needs to state the client in the Letter. That should help.
