I did send my passport for stamping in Dropbox but they have asked to go to Delhi embassy in person interview.

I have couple of questions after getting H1B Stamping
1. Is it mandatory to travel within any time period or can I chose to stay back and decide to go later if job allows.?
2. Can I switch to another employer by filing another petition, if have have not entered US after 1st H1B stamping? If so, do I need to go for stamping again or just i797 is enough?
3. Does H1B stamp get cancelled if the company takes back petition after sometime or can the company cancel H1B Stamp validity?
4. If H1B stamping is for 2 years and the employee did not to US in this period at all, after visa stamp expiry does the employee need to go again for the H1B lottery?
Please could you throw some light on above queries anna, will be really helpful or if do any visa related consultations calls I will be more than grateful to attend

Hello Shachi , Thank you so much for spreading good and detailed information on visa, I have question regarding drop box F1 Visa , we have applied for H4 to F1 visa for my wife it was drop box appointment and received 221g and they have asked my wife to appear for follow up interview on May 11 , would it possible get this interview scheduled sooner if yes how to approach consulate for the same please ?

- For which company you'll be working?
- Nature of your company? Job nature?
- Is it internal or for any specific customer?
Only these were asked to me. 😁

@@sowmy_132 saddly no .our visa got refused.Altough we have submitted all required docs still they wanted us to email I 7679 and I 129 .our case is registered under 221g.our bad luck.

@@productproduct3710 there were three counters inside after security check.first window verified all our docs like I7679bc and I129 etc and they allowed us for second window for finger prints
After approval they asked us to go and stand in the interview queue which we waited half an hour.As was child was jumping here and there security person asked us to go and attend near window which was vacant.consulate just asked which company my husband working for how many yrs.for me he just asked yrs of marriage and marriage certificate.he verified I7679 and I129 .took a blue slip and asked to resubmit all I 7679 and I129 docs again in the email and with a big smile he said for now your visa is refused plz upload docs as per given email

Yes, primary applicant can submit multiple DS160. But make sure you will update you DS160 application number in your CGI portal also so that you will see the updated DS160 application number in your appointment letter.

you can open the same DS160 and it will ask to create a new DS160 or retrive the old one. you chose create new and most of the info will be auto populated from old DS160 make the changes and u get a new DS160
