These 2v2 reviews are easily my favorite form of Polytopia content! It’s so interesting and fun having the team dynamics and thought process explained! Please keep it up👍! Edit: I also think that Kraken was favored to win here. Your positions were really strong with the navy and economies. Also, I think the dragons cooking in the back would be difficult to stop with the navy support.
The Bug was really unfortunate because it would've been an interesting clash. I agree tho that Kraken would've most likely won since Lightning only had one City with access to water which would unfortunately mean that Kraken was bound to establish Naval dominance, even overtowering the quick start of Lightning with Raichis and the Quertzaly economy. Although if Quertzaly got the Giants into the water before Yadakk things might've looked a lot different Btw. I really liked how this was broken down but the resolution was really blurry at times. Besides that it was a good video tho
Unfortunately such things happen. It's especially difficult to deal with such situations when the players live in different time zones so it's harder to react and even notice such things. We're working on the quality so hopefully this will improve in the future videos. Thanks for watching. Peace out ✌️ 🙏
Glad to be a part of this game. Wanny, you're an awesome teammate! Were it not for my timeouts, we could have avoided the ending and had an even better game
I really can’t wait for more content like this! I like the commentary, it’s so clean and covers every detail of the thought process ❤. Polychampions is the real chess v2. Lot of appreciation from me, keep it up, please!
Ive played this game for a few years, and ive never even scratched the surface of the amazing strategies and the amount of detail and depth the players plan out their moves. Amazing game
51:13 would it have been more accurate to shoot with the ship that doesn't get retaliation damage first? That way the other ships would lose less health potentially due to a weakened ship, right?
This is enjoyable content but my main critic is that if Chris is co-casting and he’s a certain faction, you automatically know who the winners are gonna be which takes away from the experience. Would love to have random games casted where that isn’t known so viewers can discover as they watch or try to guess who will win. Otherwise love the good work! 👍🏾
Um just a question though i just started watching polytopia videos like these and most of them has the quetzali tribe and is it because its easier to go for embassies and peace treaties or i am completely wrong and its for a whole different reason like what they said getting an explorer and then the boost trade of stars on turn5 for the centipede thats how i got the idea
Yes, there are tournaments 😁 Only those organized by the game developer, Midjiwan, have money prizes. Polychamps Bullet Tournaments and season games are just for fun for now.
this is awesome, hope to see more 2v2 videos
For sure. There are more 2v2 reviews to come!

Yes. This game is deceptively simple. Really the strategies can get very complicated. Team games take it to a whole other level

Jup it would have, that's a good point. We didn't take enemy vision into account for our attack order.
Any way you guys can improve video quality in future videos?
Yes, we're working on that. Expect better videos soon.
Espark: Booo no Kraken promotion!! I'm editing this out
Chris and Wannyboy:
That's right! Kraken promotion is forbidden 🚫😂🤣
Nice teamwork and great players
Yes they are. Thanks
bye chris 😢 nice game i liked your and wanny's commentary
Hopefully Chris will still be around to help with the YT from time to time. He isn't totally gone

Yes. We are going to have more casts by a neutral party, not one of the winners
Nice vídeo, 2x2 is awesome
Thanks! And big thanks to Chris and Wannboy for talking through the game
Amazing game! So many insights!
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it
i would love these videos if the picture quality was better but it seems to be a common theme that its hit or miss
We are improving our content with every video. Hope the new videos will meet your expectations.

Yes. Quetzali is great for peace treaties, embasses, and cloaks. Most games in our league are 2v2 or 3v3 games which go well with those things
@@polychampions oh ok. im really looking forward to your future videos of 2v2 on the new update!s
What the hell this game has a pro scene??
Yup, serious stuff 😁
lol this game has tourneys???
There's one with 200 euro prize pool tomorrow 👀
Yes, there are tournaments 😁 Only those organized by the game developer, Midjiwan, have money prizes. Polychamps Bullet Tournaments and season games are just for fun for now.
I want to watch the game, but the quality makes it unwatchable. If possible, please improve on the quality of the recording
Yes. We are working on a new system of recording visuals to improve the quality
