    I'm 24, soon to be 25. With confidence I can say, being in your early twenty doesn't take away credit to your reflections on life. I'm finishing my Psychology degree, I journal since being a kid, and overall you can imagine me as a very contemplative person.
    Life is getting more serious, more responsibilities on my shoulders, and that leaves me with less time to ponder about deep thoughts. I still journal a lot, but it's far more practical and goal oriented.
    It's a blessing that you're expressing your thoughts in this format. To yourself and to others.

    • @happyy33
      @happyy33  Месяц назад +1

      Congrats on the psychology it was always a subject that peeked my intrest in school, the idea of the working with the human mind, the way there thoughts and feelings work.
      Also thank you for the words about age and its credibility, although i do find it weird im also alittle used to it, as anyone older or younger i get into deep conversations with and mention struggles towards usually express a amazement at how much shit for quicker wording has happened to me.
      I hope that after you finish college and the stress of the study goes and that you get the ability to go back to jottin down thoughts and feelings in your journal and expressing yourself aswell, its always good for your soul i feel. :D

    I think you're way ahead of the curve for someone in their early 20's, especially if you're capable of living this advice yourself. I'm in my early 30's and still struggle with this. I think most people struggle with this for decades, maybe even their entire lives. This advice is obviously true when you hear it, the hard part is just untangling all of the knots in your head to get there lol. Overthinking is habitual.

    Advice doesn't always have to come from experience or being old man, it's moreso about sharing your mindset with others in hopes it'll have a positive impact on their life. You don't need to be around for 60 years to give good advice. Just spreading your mindset can be super influential and helpful to people. Somebody may see this and it'll completely change the trajectory of their life. Same goes for anyone reading. YOU can be the difference in someone's day no matter what kind of life experience you have. Thanks for posting this man.

    I smoked some stuff that made me stop thinking entirely. Sent me on autopilot and I damn near disemboweled myself due to what can be best described as excited delirium.
    Let people be, who they are. I'm tired of having people telling me that I'm "too serious" or that I'm "overthinking", just because I refuse to do what they'd like me to do. This is my life, I am alive and I will live it, however I decide to. And if anyone's got an issue with that, they better come and freaking kill me, cause I've tried so many times and it didn't work.

    I don't know why or how this popped up in my recommended section
    I deeply thank you for this man
    I just stepped into my 20's, most of my life I've been studying, and about 2 years ago I started physically pushing myself too
    Despite making progress, I'm haunted by paranoia, guilt, shame, fear specially fear of failure and oddly enough my main fuel for inspiration is that fear
    I think I should tone down the thoughts, even though the environment where I live is quite hostile and makes it almost necessary for one to be jumpy and even psychotic at times
    Idk what point I intended to make with my ramblings, then again I thank you for this video man, it gave me some insight into whether my overthinking is tearing my psyche, best of luck to you brother, health and wealth

    Hi, I'm almost near 20s too (2005). I live by one rule that really helps me out on saving time and nerves: don't care about judges and opinions of those, who you consider to be not influential in your life. For example, you fell off because the floor is slippery at winter, and people started laughing around you. I think they're nobody for me who will forget about this moment after 2-3 days, i doubt i'll ever meet or be working with them, and so i calmly stand up and continue to walk like nothing happened.
    If parents want something for you and doing without asking you opinion first, tell them why are not agree since they're parents, and unlike npcs on the streets your parents can influence your life a bit. And etc. of examples.
    We all will die anyways, one small mistake or fear is nothing tens years later, nothing at the end of life. Just do things while you can

    What success means for me, personally, is self-actualising to the point that not only can I care for myself (which has been notoriously difficult through the years) but I can even care for a spouse and two children.
    I know, it’s pretty basic. And not everyone has to have children, or prove themselves by raising a child. It’s just that, to me, arriving at that point in my life would be something I could actually look back on and be proud of.
    There’s a whole host of other metrics for success, but I think no matter what your ‘success’ goals are, getting to that point in your life would be tangible proof that you can go out and grab success by the throat.
    Sure, I want to do things like master the drums, develop a successful nursing career, and no-hit some souls games, but the most solid self-proof to me that I’d done something good in my life would be to raise two other successful people.
    Sincerely, thank you for the thoughtful 6 minutes.

      I think you’ve got your head on really well, the world doesn’t move unless there is a new generation to move it and being someone who’s able to help with that is super important (have a kid), I also think that a family is something that will make me feel a sense of success, keep mastering all ur interests and keep going, Ty for listening to my rambles also and stay safe :D

  • @DannYIIF
    @DannYIIF Месяц назад +3

    The way I think about judgement is:
    _In the movie of other peoples' lifes, you're an extra. You're background noise, forgotten as soon as you're not seen._
    Even if a stranger in the street thinks your hat is stupid, they won't think about you ever again. Your friends too, you play such a small role in their life, just do your thing.
    There's only 5 people in my life who I slightly care about the way they view me - my partner, my parents, and my best friend. Everyone else can suck a fat one.
    My idea of success is enjoyment. I want to go out and have childlike fun, doing activities I truly love - mostly downhill skating and skiing for me.
    I abandoned the competitive mindset I had from ski racing all my youth in favor of 'just doing silly shit', and it completely changed how I look at sports. I'm here to goof around, I no longer care if I am stronger or faster than some other person.

    • @happyy33
      @happyy33  Месяц назад +1

      Love that my friend and I couldn’t agree more, especially about the people in your life, I too have a very close circle that are the only ones I really trust, but like you said having childlike fun and doing goofy stuff is the best, it’s just able to breathe enjoyment regardless of the capability you have with that activity. Really enjoyed your thoughts about it and hope your doing well, Ty :D

    Hey, found your channel just now! My mind has this way of taking any household chore, or any repetitive predictable activity that I'm doing in a safe environment (such as gaming) and then anchors itself to it in order to think, imagine, monologue and daydream alike. I literally have a difficult time imagining things visually or consolidating my thoughts and monologues into coherency unless I'm cooking, painting, cleaning the house, have a movie/video playing or at least can listen to something in the background to partially focus on.
    This style of video that you're exploring a bit here. Gameplay combined with a few minutes of philosophy and introspection, might aswell be a first-person window into those special moments i have with myself. I'm subbing to you now (which is something i rarely do for any channel no matter it's size unless i know it's content is something i'd be interested in returning to quite frequently), so just keep it up and see where it leads! Dark souls by its very nature embodies the feeling of standing on your own whilst staring into your deepest, darkest thoughts and worrying about what’s around every corner. This game whether we like it or not is a virtual and playable representation of the things we face in our everyday lives. The only difference is the demons you fight in real life are voices in your head and the opinions of others.
    Great video brother, keep at it.

    hey man great advice and a really cool atmosphere:) theres a rapper called lil b and he talked about the same topic while refering to the term of „being based“ which this video has reminded me of. for future videos, i would wish for them to be completely uncut without any text and just the raw feeling of a friend telling me something. ideas that you could cover: do you believe in a given sense in life (fo ex. by god) and if not, do you think not having a given sense in life is a relief or a pressuring & depressing thought? are there any habits in your life that help you get through tough situations and also that make you happy? do you believe in an objective reality that isn’t seen out of the perspective of someone or something? kind regards leandro

    i was a mess for a long time too. Things started to change for me when my partner randomly asked me one day, “where do you place your self worth?” I’d never thought about it before but I found that my entire life I have placed my self worth in the attention i get from others and strangers. I am still unlearning this and it’s definitely not easy to grasp or handle but if I can change, so can you!!!! I cared so much about what others think of me when I was young and now that I’m placing my self worth in my productivity, I’m finally living my own life on my own terms or at least I’m finally learning that it’s okay to not care anymore. You can do it too. ❤

Cause my crazy shite is literally verbally taunting people as a stimming thing because "that's the way you get the most value out of talking" plus I'm ASD, and that's what I would end up doing without the masking potentially and that scares me. So yeah... people care about what you have to say... if you're not normal, they just don't say anything because they want to avoid conflict or avoid stuff that's simply not their problem if they can reasonably look the other way.

Be careful about shoving your ideals down people's throats. Jesus isn't the answer for everyone. If you really want to help, then it's much better to simply provide general emotional support and positivity/encouragement unless you are absolutely sure that the people you intend to interact with are of the same mindset. I mean this all in the nicest way possible. Please try to be more mindful.
