Once you install this mod. Can you switch back and forth with the modded dashboard, and the original Xbox dashboard? Or this is permanent with the modded menu?

U can switch back and forth. You scroll down from the dashboard and select MS Dashboard.

Great video. You gave a good tutorial on how to set up the network between the xbox and a computer using a direct connection. Although, I would recommend to people that are doing this to go through your router since the IP address will be assigned automatically via DHCP.

Any version of Splinter Cell works. For the other two games, not so. Specific unpatched versions of 007:AUF (original or one of the two platinum hits versions) or only original MechAssualt.

Dude you have to create a folder on the root of the E drive called "Apps" and "Emulators".

Great tutorials. If memory serves me (it's been a while) Qwix works better with the Avalaunch Dashboard running. It is about twice as fast with the accelerated Avalaunch FTP (Qwix was made for Avalaunch).

I tried copying files using Xbox360 Explorer and then connecting it to the xbox using the ports,copying it over,can be easier don`t have to use FTP.When it comes to bigger games I either burn on disc then copy it to the hdd or run from disk.Its best console to be modded and easier apart from the Wii.

Hi have burnt .iso from isozone for xbox original using maxell dvd-r and alcohol 120% to burn use lowest speed and playstation 2 setting I think it was I used. Also I recommend fiddling about with the settings on the new dash because I made my xbox region free where as before it wouldn't play USA .iso files but now it plays any region.

@@SoundboundOfficial I thought I finally got my labtop and Xbox to connect to server but it failed yet again. I have a few dashboards on my soft moded Xbox and I have 3 different IP addresses from all 3. Im using Filezilla to try to transfer files to my Xbox but I kept getting errors that it cannot connect to server. I tried the first IP address after I followed your video on how to set the network up and when I went to Filezilla to put the IP in that I input in my PC, I received a message that said "Connection established, waiting for welcome message". Then I see connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity. Please help. I have tried everything and looked at numerous videos. PLEASE HELP

Gradinkov I have an ide drive in front of me I didn't know about jumpers until now and I really don't understand them
looking at the sticker I have 1 diagram on its own labelled jumper settings it shows pins 1&2 far right and 9 &10 far left. the jumper on diagram is far right on pins 1&2 and on the pins itself jumper is on the far right pins 1 &2. there is another drawing showing standard settings with 3 lots of 10 pins. slave- pins 3 and 4 have jumper . master w/ slave present- 5&6 have jumper. single or master no jumper on any pins. so with the jumper on pins 1&2 what does that mean this drive came out of another xbox original

+The Weather God It is possible but you have to have an adapter to plug the flash drive into one of the controller ports and xboxs are also picky with flash drives. So, I wouldn't recommend that.

Mike Hernandez From my experience I managed to delete installed game's on the main dashboard on the Xbox by going into "File Explorer". Select the third file down, marked with a capital E, press A to enter. You should then see a file named Game's (might be the forth file down) press A to enter. You should then see all the game's you installed.

Look at the xbox after booting to find the IP address you need to be accessing. Setup Total commander to use the Xbox's IP address.

Easiest method for FTP, use a router and standard ethernet cable. You should see the IP address on the Xbox screen to know what IP address the router assigned to it. You need to setup a connection to that IP address to access the Xbox.
Or, use a crossover cable for direct xbox to PC network connection (some newer PC's support auto-crossover so any ethernet cable - crossover or standard will work. You'll have to set the a static IP on your PC and Xbox. (e.g. 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2) subnet mask 255.255.255.0, no gateway needed or DNS.

Thanks for the reply. Also is there any solution to make XBOX keep the time. I changed the SNTP server with one from Internet but still it doesn't keep the time right.
And have you removed that clock capacitor? Mine looks clean so kept it.

I'm not sure what you mean, normally the drive is locked, i.e. it's a good thing.
