I like this version a lot, placing more emphasis on Anakin and Padme. Always felt the original trailer gave away too much whereas this is just right, really enjoyed it!
I wouldn’t have shown Dooku‘s red light saber indicating he was a Sith. You don’t want the audience going into the film to just automatically assuming he is evil.
I just watched the original trailer and you're right. Way too much shown compared to this.

Theres still a lot of things here we dont bother thinking about as we already know it but if you saw this trailer without even seeing the movie you would realize way too much than you think

Hell yes, he should've had more exposition and narrative dialogue.
I like the fact that this edit puts more focus on Padme which I have always felt was a very important character in the prequals not only because she is the wife of Anakin and mother of the Skywalker twins but also she was one of the major senators who knew the right "way" of the republic.
This is amazing... my favourite part of your trailers is how you make Padme more central to the storyline, which is what the movies were missing: the clear juxtaposition of Anakin's battle for order and domination VS Padme's fight for freedom and community

BRILLIANT! Attack of the Clones is the first Star Wars movie that I saw and what made me fall in love with Star Wars when I was a little girl. This trailer is much better than the original! I have goosebumps! Bravo!

It's really sad to see that this movie is considered awful just because of some dialogue it has. There are so many amazing scenes which are just completely ignored when people are talking about it.
Yeah and not to mention it introduces planets like Kamino, Geonosis and it’s a really solid clone wars introduction.
A couple good scenes don’t fix the worst Star Wars movie ever made.

I just watched AOTC last night and now watching this trailer makes me wanna watch it again 😂 This is my second favorite Star Wars film behind ROTS of course, and this trailer does the film perfect justice. Fantastic work bro, keep it up! Can’t wait for more 🤘

Love the movie, but I don't think I can say it is up there very high on my list. It is like picking a favorite of your children.
It’s my least favorite of the six, but I still love it. I think it has the best story, just the execution wasn’t as good as it could’ve been

I've seen this movie around 10 times. This trailer make me want to see it again! Knowing the spoilers that were left out. Basically spoiler free! Highlighting the emphasis on the romance. The subtlety and downplay of the spectacle, that is the Jedi. So well done.

So many times I watch II and III and frequently see the movie going differently in my head - this trailer only enforces that (in a good way)

Really good. I think this captures the film noir feeling that I think was intended for AOTC. You have definitely created tension without giving it all away.

I have another "crazy" theory - Padme and Anakin are Luke and Leia's parents. They are the main characters of the original trilogy. Anakin is the chosen one, Luke is apparently the chosen one too. I don't see why they wouldn't. Also I think Anakin will lose his hand.

I loved the prequels, I’ll never say I didn’t. I’m not some holier than thou purest who needs to be spoonfed exactly what they want at any given moment. The story, the characters and the plot were amazing and George did exactly what HE wanted to do. With or without his loyal fanboys. With the most open mind I enjoyed and took in what he gave us. More Star Wars, more story and more understanding. The man deserved to create as he wished. Without people telling him he was wrong. It’s HIS story, not yours

I think I prefer the previous one, it has a little more hype. But this one is nice beacuse it leaves Kamino as this mysterious unnamed water world. That said, great job again, I love seeing these, they make me wish it was all coming out for the first time. Keep it up.

@@TraceguyRune there were 4 trailers for Attack of the Clones back in 2002 and in one trailer they show and outtake of a scene that was in the movie, and in a couple trailers they show a couple of shots from deleted scenes. I think it's something that they always have done because when we make these trailers they'er still working on the movies.

I watched AOTC last night and I was thinking it's terribly underrated. Man in a world where unimaginative nostalgia bating garbage like No Way Home is being heralded as one of the greatest film of all time, I feel the Star Wars Prequels and even the Hobbit trilogy got a lot of unfair criticism. This is a truly bizzare world we live in. My last hope is James Cameron will once again raise the Bar for truly epic and great cinema with Avatar 2 this December. Fingers crossed 🤞
One thing that both of those prequel trilogies have in common is that they went *really* heavily into CGI whereas their fore-running trilogies were each famous for epic practical effects. I think a lot of the criticism of both the Star Wars prequels and the Hobbit trilogy comes down to how heavily and somewhat hamfistedly they leaned on CGI.
@@phueal and the garbage of today, specially MCU does not? Its just people have become accustomed to it and CG has gotten better. But also I feel people are unusually lineant on MCU and i am truly baffled why such mediocrity is celebrated? Is it the paid reviews or some kind of brain washing of the masses? I don't know. All I know is that these are products with stale ideas and nostalgia as their crutches if nothing else works.
@@starwarsfan9575 agree about MCU, and about the amount of (better) CGI in modern movies.
My point was that when all that CGI follows on the heels of a trilogy with truly amazing practical effects it magnifies the disappointment. More disappointing than of the CGI movie was a standalone. I think that element of the disappointment is something which both the Hobbit trilogy and the Star Wars prequels have in common, and very strongly.
@@phueal they were the cutting edge at that time though. And most of the effects still stand up today. Gotta understand for back then - the effects were downright incredible. They were basically pioneers in digital technology.
Those deleted scenes with Padme were 🔥 they should of stayed in the movie.

All right. I like the increased focus on the character and love story between the two. As that is what the movie is mostly about. I feel that most modern trailers would have included too much combat or action material.
