It's the same old British colonial dilemma. 2 years back, the bbc was advising that India shouldn't spend money on space missions due to poverty, and now they are saying India doesn't need aid. I mean, they are so confused with the colonial hangover, so Indians are fed up with that. Now, it's Brits to handle their own colonial hangover.

It's like that British woman is deaf. She keeps talking about aid despite being informed that it's not and that UK is spending it on it's own interests.
UK sends it to NGO's that lobbies and then it's forwarded to whomever they want. They call it aid to avoid explaining where that money is going and avoid being transparent. Often they even violate Indian Foreign contribution regulation Act for it. When they were asked to come clean and explain the money received from UK they throw tantrum calling it an attack on NGOs. ( e.g. amnesty international) etc.

They are very ill informed and thus they are proud of whatever colonialism stands for. Overall India's contribution is over looked in the world like the Indians fighting for the british in the world wars are overlooked despite being one in every sixth soldier in the alliance. Even a small number of Australians are respected and talked of their contributions but the 3-4 million Indians which fought in both world wars are forgotten. This world is a very brutal place. Real contributions are always forgotten. An old british proverb of colonial times which was often found written on passenger trains summarises it: Indians and dogs are not allowed.

There's documented history that almost all of major UK cities were built by the money of private investors who earned (essentially looted) it by their proceeds in India. Imagine taxing a farmer 2/3rd of his produce, and that farmer at that time already suffering from hunger and poverty. Investors were offered expensive gifts and double profits for whatever economic activity they did in India.
We're not asking for any money in the form of aid. We don't need it.
But to say that the colonisers are dead so all the sins and responsibilities have been absolved is ridiculous. So many of them talk proudly of the British Empire, surely they should then accept the wrongs.
If they've nothing to do with the colonisers, why don't they shun all the cities which are built on the money brought from India and African countries ?

They also made sure they had their puppets for the past 70 years even after the independence to recite their narrative. They even put that stuff in school books. She is a journalist. She either knows the truth or she is incompetent and doesn't care for facts. We had all this drama in 2019 too. The so called "foreign aid" has been has been a topic of debate in recent years. It has been mentioned multiple times that India has already asked them to stop the aid.
Many such NGO's receiving such aid were accused of violation of FCRA( Foreign contribution regulation Act). When government tried to plug such "aids" and asked the NGO's to be more transparent in their transactions, they were calling it end of democracy. Many foreign media chewed India out for trying to plug it. Sareen was speaking from experience.

The reason they are going through this is because of the law of retribution. She must remember Indians are smart and forgiving people also respectful to all mankind. The British are the worst from all other western countries. You cannot stop India now. She is now on a roll. there is more reason to educate young britishers ,who have a dont care culture about history and facts on current affairs . so Childish questions should be addressed as well before they start gossiping .Parenting them to grow up and understand realities . But we know there are media houses in Britain that are more grown up , complaining like this delayed adolescent character sitting in Australia. And she should ask britain to stop giving aid,in the media and not tell India that britain should not be giving aid . shes being so cute growing up as a journalist .we dont need any false narrative coming out of ignorance from any age group , that feel victimized by a dwindling economy . Inidia was famished and dying for decades while being looted and raped and degraded ,while having no internet and social media . Now they are empowered by internet but have no sense of responsibility while the famous opposite should be with " great power ,comes great responsibility"

Actually they didn't even requested it back, instead their news anchor and influencers said it in a manner as if they are commanding someone.
