Good. You would be similarly emotional if you read most of the media coverage in "the West" about Chandrayaan-3. Paliki here lies in her claims that "the West" was bitter about this. The vast majority of the coverage was positive.
As an American, I can say that I am thrilled for India and congratulate them on their unprecedented landing on the lunar pole! Science is a human quest, not a national one and I congratulate themselves on their hard work and success.❤
@@TheNoiseySpectator It's in the works. A couple of recent discoveries make it easier to create a manned base there. The presence of water, as well as sulfur which has many uses for a lunar base. I expect the moon will eventually become a launchpad to Mars.
@@brockvessell1307 how is this fake news? Are you suggesting India did not place a spacecraft on the moon? Or are you just trolling for no obvious reason.
Hey, the figure of 45 trillion dollars was calculated by a Marxist economist named UTSA Patnaik, using a flawed methodology of compounding the loot taken by the British with a 5% interest rate. This method is inaccurate as the inflation rate in the 1950s was around 3.68%. Additionally, Patnaik arrived at a figure of 9 trillion pounds using this flawed method, which was then converted to dollars by multiplying it with 4.68. You can find these details in her article. Furthermore, Patnaik made an exaggerated claim that the British killed 1.8 billion people in India, which is obviously false. It's puzzling that channels like Vice and Wion omitted her outrageous claim of genocide. Unfortunately, spreading lies and misinformation is not uncommon in India. For instance, some stories claim that the Vikramaditya Empire controlled 40% of the world's land, or that India had airplanes 7000 years ago during the Vedic period. These are clearly baseless claims. There is also a story that Shivakar Talpade invented the airplane 8 years before the Wright Brothers, but that the British stole his idea and gave it to the Wright Brothers. India needs to stop perpetuating such false claims.
@@jeanettewee8805Tell us where Patnaik said Britishers killed 1.8 billion Indians. Please post the source. The rest of your post is simple illiterate gossip mongering. By the way I have seen you cutting and pasting this same comment of yours in many places in RUclips. 😕
What's so inspiring about it? People been doing stuff like that for more than half a century... to do it with today's technology just isn't quite as impressive today as when countries did it before the digital age. Its still cool that india is successfully doing their own space program and its something they should continue to do, but its pretty much a nothing burger, as the kids say these days, when it comes to pushing the envelope and scientific achievement. Noble??? They have an active caste system and one of the worst normalised rape cultures. What are you talking about? It’s an incredible achievement, but let’s be real about India.
And those facts that the racists use are too far away from ground reality. As of 2023 Only 15% of Indians live below poverty line and within next 10 yrs it is going to fall below 5% because of the good, stable GDP rate.
I'm not gonna lie, as an American, I felt a twinge of jealousy for this mission. But you know, space is big enough for everybody and fortunately, I got better. I'm happy for India making history like this. I hope your space program continues to flourish.

As a Sri Lankan, I cannot be proud enough for our Northern neighbour for their remarkable and unmatched feat of landing on moon's South Pole.. As the astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson explained, the crators on moon's South Pole have been perpetually shadowed from sunlight, thereby increasing the chance of meteorological water surviving in their depths. I sincerely wish Pragyan rover will stumble upon this water, which could be used in future as a rocket fuel to launch spacecrafts from moon into further destinations. The credit of this discovery paving way to an important milsestone in human history will belong first and foremost to India!!q
Sri Lanka is a Brother to India Though regrettably under Rajapakse, it went in the Communist Camp (I don't call it Chinese6 Camp, since Chinese are also Brothers but Communism is a cult that has dictatorship in China and Chinese are hostage to it)
Very true. And Neil Degrace Tyson was far more representative of media and expert reactions in "the West" than the two idiots that Palki found and forefronted: Nigel Farage and Patrick Chirsty.
@awhig2474 Rajapakshe was not a communist.. He just orbitted way too closer to China than he probably should've, threatening to put the whole country into a Chinese debt trap.. His all other activities are chronie capitalistic!! We do need leaders who are more in line with free market capitalism. However, as to foreign relations I wish Sri Lanka maintained its former non-aligned attitude with friendly relationships with everybody.. Sri Lanka is an enitty on itself, and we should learn to command our due respect, by first and foremoret behaving responsibly..
I'm from Sri Lanka! Love India's achievements, this is a proud moment for India, Proud Moment for Asia, and a Proud moment for the world. People who discredit this is ignorant fools.
Really??? So the entire west is questioning India's space program? How do we know this? Talk about desperate, I've never heard of such biased reporting before? How in the hell does anyone take this crap seriously? This is just a beat up and certainly not even close to newsworthy in any way shape or form. I mean this is the saddest reporting I've ever seen, I can't believe anyone with a thinking mind would buy into this? As a Canadian, of Jamaican African heritage, I applaud India and also this newscast, for their space achievements and calling out UK media respectively.
As a black Jamaican living in the States I've been a supporter of Indian foreign policy and politics in the international realm from at least the 1970's. The Kargil War of 1999 was masterfully prosecuted, and I followed and cheered. Chandrayaan-3's successful landing was sheer joy to me-- tears came to my eyes the day before yesterday. But let me take on the roll of lightning rod here... So then, there are all these kinds of Western reactions listed in the vlog (really no surprise to me), and yet the vast majority of Indians here vote Republican. (Yes, I went there!) --Æ.
American citizens of Indian descent can vote whoever they want. I have India friends in America and some support Republicans and some democrats. I strongly suggest African Americans don't support any party blindly but candidates who deliver. Wish you all the best.
Wow, thats freaking embarrassing! Congratulations India, ❤. 🎉.. to have gone through so much as a culture. You guys have elevated life in many aspects.
Congratulations to India from the USA 🇺🇸. What a great achievement. May your country continue to thrive 🎉. Some people here are assuming that we in the west are jealous or mad or bitter that India and other nations have reached space and landed on the moon. We aren’t. We don’t obsess over being better than other nations. I think that’s a stereotype about the everyday American. Believe me when I say we have way too much stuff going on internally to beat our chests and point at other nations. Our government might but our government sucks. In 2016 we elected Mango Mussolini. And in 2020 we elected a corpse. Trust me when I say we are way too busy cleaning up our own messes currently like trying to find a damn job in this market or worrying if Canada will invade (that one’s a joke 😂)
@@Gopalavijaya The $45 trillion figure is a mathematical construction, not something that actually happened. It's a speculative projection, not what occurred in the real world. $45 trillion was never transferred from India, Utsa Patnaik herself estimates the actual figure as about £1 billion pounds in total, the rest is manufactured from compound interest rates up to the year 2016. It should be obvious that a calculation at a 5% compound interest rate to the year 2016 and beyond should not be represented as the “drain” on the Indian economy 1765-1938. ALL of the news stories that I read in the New York Times, the New Yorker, the Washington Post, and the Guardian were very positive about Chandrayaan-3. They were not mindless propagandistic, which meant that they also raised issues about the cost, but even there most were very positive about how little was spent, that is about how efficiently India did this.
I don't think anyone, anywhere should be envious of the Indian achievement/ achievements. They deserve every good wish and I wish for them, many more spectacular events.
Over half of your population that lives in abject poverty don't have the means to even see this comment section. They are too busy working to try to feed their families earning 2 dollars a day
@@darthvadeth6290 Please remember, love and hatred does not required a smartphone to spread but it completely depends the will of people. So even if they cannot see this comment section, we Indians always believe if someone is behaving badly to us for a noble cause then more people appreciate the cause and are willing to show love. For your information, in 2022 India had 48.7% of smartphone users which is the second largest in the world behind China. And it is estimated to reach 70-80 percent by 2030 thanks to many new initiatives by the government. Also 2 dollars a day is a complete misinformation which is not expected from a smartphone bearer like you. Average income in India as per 2022 statistics was 422.03 dollars per month which makes it 14.067 dollars per day. And a family with four requires 334.3 dollars per month as monthly expenses in India which is 11.14 dollars. And I can guarantee this number is now elevated hugely.
Well said Palki. As someone born in the 'west' I urge Indians to not buy in to the snotty narratives of politicians and agenda driven journos, most westerners don't and EVERYONE I have talked to admires India's important achievement. Great effort, keep going.

However, over the next 5 yrs, we'll be hearing more & more about Africa's rapid development....with its abundance of natural resources ( minerals, metals etc ), fdi in manufacturing , agri industry , tourism etc will pour in on a huge scale, especially from USA & this will be a catalyst for rapid progress....with relatively low wages, Africa would likely become a manufacturing hub for supplies to the Western markets in competition with India....This is the era for India & Africa to rise & shiw to the what they are capable...both should avoid internal & external conflicts.. be united & give a single- minded focus the developmental needs of their respective nations....Africa is now ready for take- off....
Best wishes from India to our great African friends

Are you suggesting India did not place a spacecraft on the moon? Or are you just trolling for no obvious reason.
I’m a black American man and I’m extremely happy for Indian achievements it’s so inspiring. And definitely control your own information or they will
Hey, the figure of 45 trillion dollars was calculated by a Marxist economist named UTSA Patnaik, using a flawed methodology of compounding the loot taken by the British with a 5% interest rate.
And what does being a black american assigned male at birth individual matter in the context of india's scientific achievement? The Kargil War of 1999 was masterfully prosecuted, and I followed and cheered. Chandrayaan-3's successful landing was sheer joy to me-- tears came to my eyes the day before yesterday. So then, there are all these kinds of Western reactions listed in the vlog (really no surprise to me), and yet the vast majority of Indians here vote Republican. (Yes, I went there!)

❤I and my family have lived in baghdad Iraq for five years loved the place
"IRAQI CANADIAN"? REALLY? 😁
The Indians will always give allegiance to the western countries and turn their backs on Iraq and its neighbouring countries.
@@runcoweezrun8143 there are Indian Canadian why can't an Iraqi be Canadian? Why are u surprised?

Way to go India! As a Canadian, I am happy to see India achieve this.
Warm congratulations to India - from Sri Lanka. I am proud that you are our neighboring country
How about the scientists from both countries work together and launch a satellite? I believe Lankans can do it. Love from Bharat.
But lankans need careful of Chinese trying to split us
We love Srilanka and the people❤
@@Gopalavijaya The $45 trillion figure is a mathematical construction, not something that actually happened. Shame on those who understand this and yet knowingly spread it on the internet, they clearly have some kind of agenda. It's misinforming the public, and a gross distortion of the truth.

Means indian companies creates jobs for brits .
Yes ! But that fact doesn’t get inside their thick skull.
They are still living in 1857
Indians had given culture and civilization to Britishers.
Uk and it's colonies were build on indian tax money.
You are not from Europe.

Thank you. 🇮🇳🤝🇺🇸
Thanks 🙏
As an Indian I can proudly say that the RUclips comment section is far more positive than the news channels, Facebook and Twitter combined. Thank you ❤
ALL of the news stories that I read in the New York Times, the New Yorker, the Washington Post, and the Guardian were very positive about Chandrayaan-3.
I lover her passion !!!! Go India
Well said Palki. As someone born in the 'west' I urge Indians to not buy in to the snotty narratives of politicians and agenda driven journos, most westerners don't and EVERYONE I have talked to admires India's important achievement. Great effort, keep going.
Dead right. Love from Scotland, in the UK! ❤️🌖🏴🇬🇧
As an African American I applaud India’s achievements. The colonizers are terrified.
The brutality of colonial rule needs to be exposed. Otherwise they keep singing from their high horse on how they uplifted our continents!

The biggest achievement is all the scientists linked to this project were educated in India which tells a lot about the talent and the system. Well done.
