- Sometimes our job makes us nearly puke as well. There was just something about this one which was eye watering and made Jetter 2 gag repeatedly. Funny.

I started with pimple popping then moved from there to trimming cow hooves. Then it was on to carpet cleaning and now unclogging drains. This job I couldn’t do. Keep up the awesome work!
Haha I have had a very similar path through RUclips suggestions! My 2 yr old is having fun watching them with me too lol.

These companies that say wipes are flushable, should be sent one of those blue bags chock full & see what they say then.

Problem is that they went to court because the got sued for this... The issue is that they technically are flushable however they sre not biodegradeable like toilet paper

Well...they ARE “flushable,” meaning you can flush them. They just aren’t safe for the plumbing and will build up.
@@The_JEB its not the "biodegradable" factor its the factor that wipes do not break down in water and thus form the reinforcing rebar for pooh concreate. Unlike toilet paper which is just tightly formed to wipe ones arse but loose enough to break up into much smaller fibres in the water stream after moments once immersed.
I actually found myself holding my breath when you started digging into that mountain of wipes!

@@adamluke1289 I've always wondered why when someone pukes in an airplane, it starts a chain reaction, even from people sitting in front or behind. Then the airplane reeks for the rest of the flight with puke in the carpet and seats.

Use something like Vicks vapor rub under your nose. That's what we do in the US for rotting smells..
Im guessing the elderly lady relied on carers to assist and they are poorly paid and likely don't know what problems they causing.

Watching you go back and forth reminds me of every project I do around the house - out to the garage for a tool - back to the house - repeat 3-4 more times (or more) until job is done.
If those responsible were made to scoop all of those wipes out of that drain, they would no doubt learn never to flush them again. You have my respect! More power to you!!

Of all the videos of this I've watched, this one had the most wipes from a person's dwelling. The top on is the video at a hospital.

Interesting to note you mentioned the Sydney jet operator, Ollie. His gear is designed to work with our distinct style of drains which is quite different to yours. many parts of Sydney, Prior to 1974 didn't even have a proper sewerage system! So most of it is pretty well designed ,plenty of fall and easy access in case of blockages. And not as old as some of the systems I see on your channel. The only thing I would add, is a separate reel with the extra hose being fed by the long hose from the pump unit. And maybe a 400 liter tank in the van for the situations you seem to encounter where there is no outside water connection . (1000 liter=1 tonne) .
Wipes need to come with a distinct warning about flushing them down toilets ,which includes a rough guide as to costs of blockage removals. 😁
Yeah, the Australian systems are a lot newer, most of ours is old Victorian sewers, 100 years old or more, requires a very different approach but how useful would that reel be with the built in valve, save a lot of walking back and forth. And no corn for Ratty!
@@splatmanhooha4264 Agree 100%. Additional reel with valve would have saved a bunch of time and effort as well as greater control. Ollie and Ratty were watching im sure.

I felt your pain with that smell, I know the feeling when I used to do the wheelie bin cleaning, baking hot day, shitty nappies, dead animals, the works.... I miss that job weirdly 😁

What you needed there was one of those grab shovels they look like a pair of spades bolted together usually used to dig fence post holes and plant trees. Great video keep up the good work.

I do property maintenance jobs and I sympathise, I have had to do a job very similar and I was close to seeing my breakfast again. People need to be more aware of what they flush down the drains.

I made that mistake with wipes once. Just once! It took me hours to clear it. Had to get down the manhole. I could do that for a living. Just remember to smile.. it suppresses the gag reflex. Good job.
