    Wera Kraftform Comfort grips have been the machine shop standard for well over 25 years. Mechanics and home gamers have got to know them in recent years due to Wera massively increasing their product lineup as well as a large marketing push. By far my long time favorite driver style.

    I recently got my hands on the Wera 816 RA handle. I was surprised by how the handle feels in the hand. It really comfortable, it almost falls in place. The grip feels natural.

    As a German I do not like to see that most Wera tools are not made in Wuppertal/ Germany. However, their screwdrivers are next level, although really fair priced at least here in Germany.

      I dont think any of the tools they sell over here in the states is made in Germany,. All the ones ive seen are made in CR.

    I'm holding on to my old Craftsman stuff just to compare the screwdriver tips after a few years. The Wera materials just feel so much nicer and sturdier. Also, some of their tools offer so much functionality, I recently put together a tool pouch with just a handful of tools that are almost all multi-functional (tape measure is just a tape measure). Makes it easy to tour the house and do quick little fixes, picture hanging, hardware tightening, filter changes.
    I haven't been this excited about tools since my Dad gave me a toolkit for Christmas when I was little.

    The Wera and Craftsman screwdrivers look like they were produced in different centuries - the Wera design is so much more advanced and ergonomic. And Wera tools really aren't expensive, compared to tool truck brands, when you look at the quality you're getting. Sure, they're never going to be the cheapest option, but I do think they give you the most bang for your buck.

      The designs are from different centuries, although the Craftsman many have been produced this century.

    This is Wera's entry level screwdriver.
    The Kraftform plus is the most robust screwdriver ever created by man.
    It's the metallurgy and the heat treatment you are paying for.
    The plus has a striking cap, the square shank runs from end to end, yes. A massive square shank and has the the most beautifully machined bolsters you have ever seen. Get a Kraftform Plus #4 Phillips, I use mine for aligning alternators and starters all the time,still looks and works like new!
    KCTOOL has them online.

      Definitely not the entry level set, the entry level don't have compound handles or laser tips, the 900 series are indeed great and you can really abuse them but sometimes those features aren't needed.

      @thelred-ph3lq Год назад

      @@Savagetechie It seems like they discontinued both kraftform classic, and Kraftform Komfort handles, so the 300 series might be their current entry level.

    Ya all I have from them is a screwdriver with 6 bits in the handle I carry in my pocket everyday the handle ends up a little bigger so it isn't awful but I payed like the same or a couple bucks more for the 1 vs that set and I went from an alright like $3 screwdriver that was fine so I'm not that impressed I don't really have any complaints but $20 would have been a lot better to me
