Interesting. I believe your videos were the first I saw about using the mexican sunflower for compost tea. I've been making tea since January. I noticed you are not diluting your tea? I've been using this but dilute it about 1 part to 5 parts water. It would be so much easier without having to dilute it. How many varieties of bananas do you have, I want more.....currently I have grand nain, ice cream(namwah) and blue java, 1000 fingers and saba, dwarf cavendish? I'm also in the process of growing a lot more mexican sunflower as clearly I don't have enough. Thanks for sharing your informative videos. PS I'd use gloves before touching the tea, they leave a nasty smell on your hands.

I would use comfrey probably and I have some that are a couple of years old. I just got a banana plant a couple of weeks ago. How often do you fertilize? I have my banana plant growing in a wood chip garden.

I try to fertilize them once a month or when I have the time. its a must when they are fruiting.

I watched your amazing video and duplicated your compost tea and produced a 55 gallon drum back in May 2023. I stopped stirring on a regular basis however today I noticed some worm like larvae started to appear on the top side walls of the drum. Is this ok or is it no longer good?

Why is it that Mexican sunflowers are good for bananas? Do you add anything else, like comfrey? I’ve seen videos saying urine is a good fertilizer for bananas. Is there a comparison with the compost tea you make?

Bananas are heart feeders and eat everything and anything. It doesn't matter, just feed them. They are the pigs of the green world

Yes but they still need the right NPK
