I never heard of this program, but my friends and I had an absolute blast with Spider Man Cartoon Maker back in the 90s. We didn’t limit ourselves to just Spider-Man cartoons. We recast people and even drew our own background. Then you could record a voice over. It was awesome.
I was SO excited for this video when i saw the old computer! You should go back even further and do floppy discs art games! Also in the 90’s, I had a card maker software, I think it was the hallmark card studio or something like that, that could be cool to use too!
Woah. Weird vague childhood memories flooding back. I don’t remember having this. But then I do… when? How? I’m so confused😳. But I definitely used this as a kid. Every extra second I watch is an extra flood of nostalgia. I remember using the UFO so many times! I wonder if I still have this on a floppy somewhere? It was probably around the time I thought that 6GB was an insanely big hard drive that we could never possibly fill. Thank you for allowing me to re-live a lost childhood memory! 😂😂
See that little brain emblem in the bottom left corner? That was completely red on several occasions - including the time I had Krusty being pelted with everything and Homer laughing at him (along with a hundred other things happening in the same frames)...it meant that your PC was ready to freeze soon.
I remember picking this up from the Wal-Mart bargain bin and putting a ridiculous amount of hours into it. One of the best $10 I ever spent as a kid. Even when I purged most of my physical PC games a couple years ago I couldn't let go of this one.
Loved this program as a kid. Got a huge wave of nostalgia watching this. We used to have the opposite problem where the motions would move super super slow when trying to move things around instead of unworkably fast like you have here. We were able to work with it though, it just took a lot longer lol.
Loved this. Seeing the old monitor reminded me of playing Alley Cat, Mavis Beacon Typing & Tomb Raider on Windows 92 & 97 and using Netscape Navigator to lookup Encyclopedic Brittanica.
Holy crap, for the first full minute I was all "Really? The Simpsons licensed an art game? That's kind of dumb." And then I saw Bart animated with a parachute and memories came flooding back from owning and spending hours on end using this program.
AHHHH this was like my favourite game!! I was so sad when it wouldn't play on a newer computer 😭 We had another one called "3D Movie Maker" from 1995 and it was also amazing.
Lance A. Miller & John C. Thomas working at IBM gave the idea in 1976 and after that programmers of Xerox PARC combine the keys ctrl + Z to the function “Undo”.
My first animations were on Microsoft paint. Then for awhile I upgraded to a better art program called medibang (not an animation program). Now I finally use a real animation program called Krita.
This is amazing. I love it. I’m excited for more stuff from the 90s.......... I really wanna see him play Oregon trail. >> as a 90s kid. I... I really wanna see that. .... Bye bye bYE BYE BYE!!!!! Lolol
Oh my god, I LOVED this game. My brother and I made so many dumb movies. For whatever reason, we loved Homer's "I'm just walkin' along, singin'!" voice clip and used it all the time lmao
Hilarious video!!!! This brought back so much nostalgia!! Animating during that time was even crazier for me, especially looking back at what we had to work with. Love this channel. Let’s talk Animation sometime! Travis Blaise signing out!! Cheers!
I played a similar game, ‘3D Movie Maker’ which came out in ‘95. I just went and looked it up on RUclips and the nostalgia! I feel like it was more versatile than The Simpsons game. We used to make all sorts of crazy movies on 3D Movie Maker 😂 the intro animations to the game were great too
My brother had this game and it was so fun! I had the American Girls Premiere game where you make plays starring the characters from the American Girls collection. It was okay but I had wished it was done in an illustrated style rather than using real people-some of the girls looked too old. I preferred the Simpsons Cartoon Maker. Also, I always loved the flying Mr. Burns clip, haha.
This just gave me a throwback to Disney Magic Artist Studio - Pretty much the reason I'm a graphic designer now haha!! Please do a video on this one if you remeber it, so good - you could animate on there as well
I didn't do this game, but it still brought back memories of how games were back in the day. I made stories with American Girl theater software, (I don't know specifically what year that was) but it was years after this... Early 2000s sometime
I used to follow your videos 4 years ago, and I lost the account and forgot the name of the channel. 2 days ago RUclips blessed me with showing me a video of your channel. Keep it up mate.
I spent HOURS in this game as a kid. You might also look into Create with Garfield on the c64 and Tiny Toons Cartoon Workshop on NES. Having played both of those the Simpsons one I felt like I was a REAL animator. Hahaha.
Great vid, Jazza! I would love to see a video where you explore how studios ACTUALLY animated cartoons/anime in the 90’s, I think that would be really cool!

Whole bunch of tricks and tips to try out too - maybe your team can tell you what to place where and you guess what will happen.

Did you guys also get some weird kind of satisfaction from taking the mouse ball out and cleaning it and the rollers inside?

The running theme is superglued in my brain forever.

We played ‘3D Movie Maker’ which was another animation game.
How have you never heard of the Simpsons
No no, of course I know the simpsons. I had never heard of this computer game when I was a kid in the 90s.
Even when Jazza overdoes the acting it still feels normal as he's such a dad to begin with
When you said it’s the 90’s my internet crashed.
And then wouldn’t connect for 15 minutes.
I think my iPad entered the 90’s for 20-Ish minutes.
😂
Check your dial up connection, someone must've used the phone.
I guess someone was using the phone
Jazzy REALLY looks like he could be in NSYNC. I was surprised the others didn’t come in and start singing “Bye Bye Bye” with him
Heh. Next video he should have a packet of 2 minute noodles on his head 😁
😂😂😂😂
Jazza's so cool, he finished Dawson's Creek & Friends in the '90s... despite the fact that they both finished early/mid 2000s :D

I can just imagine Jazza showing his parents his animation of Homer Simpson choking Bart Simpson and feeling so proud😂😂😂😂😂
The effort that went into styling that room WOW (I wonder if it's in the new studio?)
Same. I was wondering if it's in the new studio too
I'm also awed by the effort of buying huge PC and installing windows 98, which almost obsolete at this era.
Nah it looks to be in the back corner of his current studio. That’s the brick wall he was gonna do something with isn’t it?
I thought it was the back corner we helped decorate
The Ctrl+Z command was introduced in the '70s, good to know! :D

Hey! That's an optical mouse! In the 90's we had mice with those weird balls in them!
