I can’t believe this but I must say: “I have all kinds of color photos and slides. The GREY PAINT IS NOT ONLY WRONG THE REAL 20th had much darker paint, not even close! I’m 67 born in NYC and did my quarter there. Even today you can ride the water level route and SEE a few of these cars at various sidings when heading south from Albany.
I’ll have to disagree. I’ve seen a color photo spread of the 20th Century Limited and the paint was a dead ringer for the train shown in the model railroader article.
