This video is so good, I am a pretty good skater overall as a smaller player right now, but I am starting my growth spurt so this is definitely helpful, I know I am fast and I will be doing these drills but I also know I need more confidence to use the attributes I learned that make me truly skilled. Do you have any tips with confidence and being able to convert into games, thank you
@@elimin17 stiff and flexible are completely opposite.. something cannot be stiff and flexible. Ankle flexibility and mobility is one of the biggest factors in becoming an elite skater.
Cordination means absolutely nothing when it comes to actual hockey I.q you can be as coordinated as possible but if you don’t have hockey I.q does you no good.
Great drills - I need to get off my "ars" on with doing them - I'm encouraged thanks
You should make some videos like these for goalies too I think it would be very helpful to a lot of people

This is a great video. Definitely an overlooked skill set
Straight animal!
Whens the trigger 8 pro stick review?
I think MacKinnon does it better but that's just me 🤷🏻♂️
Ima try some of those
No, his leg is just faster than others. It is not the thing that can be trained. It is just like Usain bolt is faster than others. It is a talent!
No
thats not how it works. anybody can be fast
cope buddy
Not true. You can strength and form train to become significantly faster.
@elimin17 If anybody can be fast why there is only one McDavid?? 😄
Rollerskate
“powerful legs and stiff ankles” 💀💀.. clearly not analyzing his stride mcdavid has some of the best ankle mobility in the NHL.
Was just gonna comment the same thing… stiff ankles don’t make you a good skater
stiff ankles means strong ankles, not unflexible

Can you just grab the defenders stick like that?

If you have hockey iq and ur not coordinated it also doesn't matter lol. Coordination is VERY important in hockey.
