I love hockey but I've always had a fear of getting hurt bc I'm a girl who plays against boys and there not always nice. But the end of last season I got more over that fear and became a whole new hockey player. My dream is so make it onto the national women's canadian hockey team. I hope it happens one day and if it doesn't atleast I tried. This speech is making me more ready for this season and is gonna push me harder to get there. I got injured playing hockey once and that made the fear worse but I realized the pain was over at one point and it's ok to get hurt. I'm so excited to prove to everyone I can be more than it showed last season. I got this and u do to. 😊

I was playing a game and when this guy 2 times the size of me checked me in 10u! My coach was furious. At this point I had a black eye and my foot hurt like hell. But I saw that guy and I didn’t care how many minutes I get in the box I don’t take that lightly. I skate at him full speed and I rock him into the boards. He was down for a little while I ended up getting 10 minutes and a punch in the face but my coach was proud of me.. I’m only 4 foot 10 and this kid was like 5 foot 6 on skates.
im a scooter rider and my cat died but that didnt demotivate me i kept going aand here i am today im a pro scooter rider and if you try you can reach your goals
I’m 14, started skating when I was 5 and played organized hockey when I was 6. I have followed the Oilers my whole life because of my dad who has been a hockey fan for decades. always been an average hockey player my whole life, never the best and never the worst. Have only played tiered hockey. No AA or AAA. Only a few years ago I really started to fall in love with the game. And just last year I realized what my dream was. To become an nhl player. But I just don’t think that I can catch up to the kids my age and make it to the nhl. I have the equipment to train all day every day. I’ve done it before. But I still don’t think that will be enough to attempt a journey to the nhl. If you have any words of advice for me that would be great but next year I think I’m gonna quit hockey for good.
I was out because I dislocated my knee when someguy dove and took me out from under and I wasn’t able to play for basically the rest of the season and I was ready to get back in covid started and the season was cancelled
Hockey is a humbling sport. I am 33 and I played when I was 20 with bunch of buddies we won the championship in our bronze league. Then last night was first time on the ice since 20 and omg I am competitive and on my feet for work all day. I tell you last night was the hardest thing I have ever done. But I didn’t put in preparation. It takes heart and grit and I love it. But do yourself a favor work on cardio and strength my body is hurting today

Wow nice vid!
I’m only 4 foot 10 and this kid was like 5 foot 6 on skates.
huge props to you for standing up !
5:34 Ah, nostalgia.
I listen to this before every game I have really helps motivate me to work hard and I have scored every game since
I do that too
I love that he hearted every comment except a basketball one and first person one
Lol yeah! In my opinion when you make videos you also have to interact with the viewers!
Thank you for making this video
im a scooter rider and my cat died but that didnt demotivate me i kept going aand here i am today im a pro scooter rider and if you try you can reach your goals
Sad! Hope it will restart soon! Good luck bud!
I dislocated my knee to
I watch this video whenever I feel worthless in this sport and it helps me
Also do wrist curls and squats every single day
Niceeee bro!
Absolutely
@KFC Man LOL!
@KFC Man sure guy. Go eat a bucket of popcorn chicken and go back to NHL20
Whoever sees this message, I hope you win ur game tonight unless it’s against me
this speech helped go from the 2 team to central states: FIGHT BACK TO EVERYBODY WHO SAYS YOU CANT DO WHAT YOU DREAM OF YOU WANT SOME THING GO GET IT. period
Inspirational...
I listen to this so much and it helps people keep hitting me and I still get up each time.

I saw this while looking for a maple leafs hype video, I found this and now I watch it before every game. That one line “Pain is Temporary” gave me chills
What is the song at 4:00? I really like it and its super motivational along side the rest of the clip in that section! Nice work on the video btw, brought me to tears and realized I shouldn't be on my butt and get going
Glad you enjoyed the video! It's the same song during the full video. It's called Event Horizon by Really Slow Motion.
You can find it here: ruclips.net/video/IU0rowyzjCY/видео.html
@@WhatThePuck OOOOOOOOOOOOH Thank you! Im not a Blues fan, but after watching that Part at 4:00, I gave them much more credit for the Cup. (Sharks Fan) And Mixed in with Goalies (Which is my role in Hockey) And that McDavid play where he cut in, was and is inspiring! Well done!
it saved my game i loved it so much that I wochd it 5 times
I'm 35 & never played hockey; it was really intimidating when I was younger - expecially for a gay boy. Now after watching this video & knowing what I know now, I really wish I did!
4:41 - holy moly, what a save!
Im 26 and its my new goal... to get into some beer leagues and play ice hockey. Life is short go after what you want no ones stopping you but you.
Damm man i love this sport. But that one coach really f- me up. Man I really miss having fun with the boys doing what I love. But I left the team and I cried for 3 days straight.
Like like like like like. That. Was. Epic
How can it be that some people don't love this sport. I love this sport. Ice hockey will forever be the anchor in my life
I watch this before my championship game and we destroyed the other team.
same
3 years and I still comeback to this
Me toi
Also there is a part of this vid where it says sleep is for broke people honestly I don't agree but good vid.
Thanks for the comment! I agree that sleep is really important. But I think you should think of it that way: instead of staying in your bed until 12pm on a saturday morning, you wake up at 7am and go play hockey outside or workout.
