I bought mine when I was 14 in 1995. I felt like a god at school :D I just need a new strap, going to try and get an original as I want to start wearing it again ( and using it as a remote). You need two springs for the sounder, a nice long one that goes in the hold are the 11 o'clock position close to the seal and a shorter one (I think it's half the length of the long one) that drops in the hole at the 5 o'clock position right next to the battery
It can happen if the battery has died and is left in it too long. But if you are lucky. Changing the battery and resetting the watch could bring it back to life. It is completely broken but the case is still very good and the other one works but the holes where the bracelet goes in have been torn out. Could you swap the inner workings for me in the other? If so, how much money would you ask and I live in Germany, what would shipping back and forth cost?
CR2032, You can buy them from anywhere. They are common enough. Just be careful when you change it. Don't forget to reset the watch after battery replacement.

The one and only spring needs to go in the plastic rimmed hole next to the battery.

6:18 It's literally printed on the battery cover: connect that metal backing with the contact point in the hole it points to for 2 seconds.
