You're review was great and it's one of the latest. I heard that the lens has some issues but this was a year ago. Do you know that those issues are fixed? Freezing camera, loose apperture ring and problems at f1.4 . I orderd it tomorrow morning and now lets see what happen.
Hey there! No, I have not experienced such problems myself. Only thing that I have with other Viltrox lenses is very noisy AF motor. But these lenses cost so cheap that you should not expect crazy good quality. Thats why other (like Sony) lenses cost x2 more - they never have these issues and they work for many years perfectly.
The struggle is real my friend 😀 I had the A7II before and regarding photos - I do not miss it. Lenses are cheaper for APS-C, wide selection of them and compact sizes. If I ever upgrade to Full Frame, it will be A7IV when it comes out, if I must do some serious client work and video capabilities. But for hobby photography - I recommend sticking with a6000 and instead invest in lenses 👌
